CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS
APPEARANCE: See picture below.
BACKGROUND: General Callion was a strong, calculated military leader who fought countless battles in the Saiyan-Tuffle War, a pride to his people and a powerful warrior. Countess Perilla of House Bonewood was one of the few royal families to still hold some power and wealth after the evacuation of Sadala, and a wealthy woman by every metric possible.
Their union was said to be one of the finest on all of Vegeta - the name the Saiyans had given to the planet they still fought tooth and nail to keep from the Tuffle menace. But, as is usually the case in high-society marriages, this was not the truth. Callion had only married Perilla in the hopes that he would inherit her great wealth, a plan that had been thrown for a loop at the birth of their firstborn son.
Kabe was a healthy boy, but far too weak. The first few years of his life were lived in ignorance to the struggles his mother endured each day being married to someone who deceives, schemes and attacks for a living.
It was on Kabe's third birthday that Callion had finally decided to assassinate his wife and child and claim what he believed to be his rightful place as heir to the Bonewood's vast riches. But like all Saiyan women, Perilla would not go down without a fight. After a brief scuffle, she killed the Kabochan Ambassador that had secretly been working to kill her, and fled the scene with Kabe in her arms.
Though she had managed to escape in a stolen vessel, she was pursued and shot down by the ambassador's loyal fleet. With her ship in flaming tatters as it crescendoed toward the surface of a nearby planet, the fleet returned to Kabocha and Perilla and Kabe were presumed dead.
They had landed on Duria, a fairly large moon filled with lush jungles and many hazardous lifeforms. The conditions were harsh, even compared to Vegeta. Survival was not made easy for the two stranded saiyans, with Perilla gravely wounded after shrapnel had pierced through her shoulder in the crash. For six months, she held on to life, fighting off threat after threat to keep her son alive while he recovered from his own injuries from the crash. Finally however, she passed in the night.
Left at a loss for what to do with his mothers death and stranded on a desolate rock, Kabe sought out society. The Durian people were rather rotund and colorful, and seemed very spiritually centered, but were sorely lacking in terms of technology or military. Attacking the strange child they perceived as an alien threat, Kabe managed to kill one of them in his escape.
Alone in the jungles of Duria, he learned to fend for himself against it's ferocious and violent wildlife as well as the harsh conditions. Through time, he slowly grew strong enough to overwhelm the Durian people with his raw strength, learning things through the observation of the wild creatures of Duria and the few competent soldiers who still stood a chance against him.
At the age of eleven Kabe was visited on Duria by a small group of raiders who sought to plunder from the denizens of Duria; unfortunately for them, Kabe had them all but wiped out over the course of those eleven years. Many scars riddled his body and his erratic and wild behavior combined with his tattered rags convinced the alien raiders that they were being attacked by a monster. Kabe attacked them, but was wrestled to defeat by Nyaku, one of the raiders aboard the starship.
The raider's ship was old and rickety, smelling quite wretched, and Kabe struggled for a while to understand where he was or what was going on, his mind having been addled by years of primitive survival. The captain of the crew was a crabby old pirate named Mayen, a Makyan privateer turned criminal warlord who put him to work as soon as he showed he could understand what they were saying to him.
He made his first and only friend for a while aboard that ship - Nyaku, the Nitran warrior who had wrangled him to his senses the first time - who taught him the basics of language and looked after him through his first few years of piracy.
The wild world of pirates among the stars is not for the faint of heart, and it wouldn't be long before a great battle with some enemy goons would claim the life of the captain, and Kabe had stepped up to get the crew out of a sticky situation. From then on, he and Nyaku had led the small band of remainders aboard the Jörmungandr, known to many in the North Galaxy as the 'Starship Eater', a great junk ship used in their plunderous adventures.

Utility Technique || Magic Stomach
During his time on Duria, something happened to him. Kabe isn't quite sure when or where it occured, but since his earliest days of memory on Duria without his mother, he's been blessed with a supernatural stomach and cursed with an unending rumble of hunger in his core. Kabe can eat anything, and can even consume and gain sustenance from ki and other energies, and can use his ki control to generate great gusts of wind through the power of his stomach.
Utility Technique || Here's one I prepared earlier!
Over the years, Kabe has discovered that whatever unnatural force has given him the powers his stomach endows, also allows him to store objects inside for later with some ki control. Kabe has eaten many strange things in his time, and often will chuck things away in his little storage dimension in his stomach, bringing them out in the heat of battle later. Most often, this is used to store his Katchin sword, Wildefang.
