CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS

APPEARANCE:  This demon stands at about 5'6"/1.6m with an average build.  They're covered in brown fur and have an overall scruffy appearance.  They have red/yellow eyes, fangs poking out tusk-like from their bottom lip, and a long tail.  Their clothes are usually simple and easy to move in, though they usually wear silver wrist/ankle bands, and rarely have shoes or gloves.

BACKGROUND: 

Wherever the bloody history of the Demon Realm was written, the Stoneheart clan was sure to be there, even if only in footnotes and margins.  While the clan was never the main player in events, their members often served as bodyguards and assistants to other oni, acting as the muscle behind their schemes.  Their innate powers over stone and rock made them excellent protectors, and over generations they developed a reputation for being the best minions any aspiring dark sorcerer or evil emperor could ask for.  The Stonehearts were proud of this reputation, and did their best to uphold it.

But there always has to be one black sheep in a family.  Tsaoko was of an age where most others in the clan had some conflicts worth boasting about under their belts, or at least were working hard and training for the day those conflicts would come.  Tsaoko wasn't interested in any of that, though.  They weren't interested in much of anything.  The young demon spent most of their days lazing about the family home, riding the proverbial coat tails of their ancestor's success and living in comfort.  Why did they need to try hard when all the work was already done for them?  It all seemed pointless to Tsaoko.  Whenever their family asked when they would begin training, or what their plans for life were, they would brush it off and just say Later, I'll figure it out.  Though they would barely admit it even to themselves, Tsaoko was afraid to begin.  The Stoneheart clan had such a reputation, how could they ever hope to live up to it?  So they simply didn't try.

Eventually, this all became too much for the rest of the family.  The seniors of the clan decided that Tsaoko was to be banished to the mortal realms, and not allowed back home until he had accomplished something impressive, some feat of strength that showed the clan he was worthy of being allowed back into their ranks.  Now unceremoniously dumped on Earth with only the clothes on their back and the shame in their heart, Tsaoko is on a mission to finally apply themselves to their training, and prove themselves to the clan.

Tsaoko flies using their wings.  Only usable in winged transformations, of course.

Utility Technique || Stoneheart Statis
Instead of sleeping, all members of the Stoneheart clan instead petrify into a stone form and rest, remaining aware of their surroundings all the while.  A casual observer might mistake them for a statue.
