He decided to put into practice that whole Shinjin sensing thing that Fend had taught him a while back, just to check on something.

The Heran mercenary closed his eyes for a moment, but didn't sense the "divine" ki that Fend had described to him regarding divine beings... which made sense since this Alaistair guy was meant to be a demon. But, the energy he did sense from him... definitely felt the opposite to how divine ki was meant to feel apparently. He opened his eyes as the demon businessman was leaving. He watched her fade into the crowd, an easy enough feat for someone of her diminutive size, before looking around for his absent crew.
