In order to do this, he has taken what he thinks is a normal name and has poorly disguised himself. He works at a space diner, acting like how he thinks a dedicated and honest harder worker would act. The vast majority of people see through his disguise, and his higher than average power along with the fact that he's worked at the same place without aging and without explanation for over 200 years doesn't help this.
