Someone Lost, Someone Found [Vocado/Pitt]

Pitt gave a noble offer, but the idea was still stupid in hindsight. What good would punching a long-lost uncle do a blind kid? Rolling his eyes, he launched a quick and dirty gut-punch at his big younger brother while he was distracted with trying to convince their niece to vent her frustrations. "There. I redeemed her freebie for her. Happy now, Bonewood Bonehead, or should I go again?"

Returning to the conversation at hand, though, it seemed their blood relative wasn't using the Bonewood name. It made sense, given she only just found out she was one, but the name she did give was an odd one for sure. Definitely Arcosian, which also explained the gear. Was she some royal, then? He'd have to look into it.

"Well, it's not the name I'd have chosen for you but if its your name then so be it. Ise... Do you mind if I say Bonewood instead? Rolls off the tongue better"

He gave her a cheeky grin, but wasn't sure she could actually see it.

"Well... Now what should we do? I'd offer to show you around town, but the upper ring isn't kind to Bonewoods so you'd probably fare better up there alone, honestly."

Ise tilted her head as Vocado took a shot at Pitt striking him dead center in the gut surprisingly he seemed not TOO bothered by the action merely shouting at Vocado and not making any attempt to physically retaliate. Perhaps this was just how the two of them were? A bit of roughness between them that would likely be repaid later?

She did find Vocado’s reasoning of ‘redeeming her freebie’ rather amusing, she let out a low hum as Vocado asked if he could call her by the family name, she was not yet quite sure how much she liked that. Wintergreen had been her family name for her entire life and it held importance. “Between us it should be fine, I think my Father might take issue with it though in his presence” for rather good reason “and I would not like you all to have issues with each other” that felt good enough to her, she doubted Vocado would even have much cause to use the family name as it was exceptionally more likely he would simply call her Ise.

Ise once more tilted her head in confusion at Vocado’s reasoning for not exploring the town with her, that it was due to the upper ring not being kind to them “So make them be kind to you” Ise said with a wide and a touch mischievous grin “You’re strong Vocado, you and Pitt. You should not be made to feel lesser than a bunch of weaklings playing at nobility. If they choose not to respect your power. Make them fear it, others will learn better” Ise did her best to quote her Father’s general mindset.

She was CERTAIN Vocado had to be among the strongest on Plant and Pitt right alongside him. Sure maybe a FEW were near them, perhaps even a few above, but she had done plenty of exploring both in the upper and now lower areas and there was the same absence of powers anywhere near her or their levels.

“A spar could be fun, I always enjoy a good fight” Ise said with a grin as she rolled her shoulders loosening up a bit in preparation for the potential spar, sure Vocado was a bit below her but he had far more actual experience than her much like Froma.

"Sounds like we're all in agreement, then! I'll have to set up a few things. Pitt, can you get the training grounds ready?"

Vocado took off, waving goodbye behind his back. He was already a few streets away when he realized that he'd completely forgotten to find a way to actually contact his blood relative. Wheeling around, he skirted back into the alley, and pulled what looked like a business card out of his armor. It was a thin strip of tough paper, and someone else's name had been scratched off. In its place was Vocado's name and scouter frequency.

Handing it over to Ise, he bowed low. "Here. Uncle 'Cado's number is right here for ya. Give me a call whenever and I'll save your frequency in my contacts list. Sometime tomorrow I'll ring you up and send the coordinates your way."

Wait. Ise was blind.

"Okay, uh... So, the number is One-four-one point one-two. Don't worry about not being able to contact me either- even if this thing breaks, I have an in with one of the guys at the manufacturing plant and they hook me up with the same frequency every time."

Now that things were settled, he gave the pair a two-fingered salute, and raced off. Time to get things ready!

Ise tilted her head at Vocado’s quick departure and was half ready to ask Pitt WHERE they would be meeting up or perhaps for one of their scouter ID’s so they could keep in contact now that her visor was in at least basic working condition but just as she opened her mouth to question Pitt Vocado returned in a flash evidently realizing his own error.

He however made another error as he handed her what she presumed to be a paper with contact information, contact information Ise was entirely incapable of actually parsing due to how her senses worked, she gave it a few moments as he explained himself nodding along and preparing to call after him when he took off again but just as he mentioned the coordinates he seemed to pause and Ise smirked feeling quite certain the rudeness had to do with a sudden realization.

Ise tapped her visor a few times inputting the number for Vocado manually “Vocado” Ise stated clearly for the visor after confirming the number to give it a voice prompt for when she would need to call on him.

“Good to know, I’ll send along the standard frequency for my visors once I’ve got this repaired, it needs more intricate repairs and is operating on a more basic mode right now until I can return to my Father, once I have it fixed though you two will be able to contact me whenever you need”

“Take care both of you, and I hope when we meet up we can have a good spar, if you two don’t get a bit stronger a bit faster I might need to fight you both for it to be fair” Ise said sticking her tongue out at the pair deciding to use a bit of childish taunting to encourage the pair.

With that her newfound Uncles departed and soon after Ise would do the same, perhaps a visit to the landing site for the attack pods would be good tomorrow, she quite enjoyed watching ships arrive and it would be a nice way to relax and think about… everything.
