For the last few weeks, Beowulf he been getting this strange phone call on a regular basis. He usually missed answering it, but there was always someone leaving a message that said "Hello sir! We've been trying to contact you regarding your spaceships extended warranty! It has recently expired, and we are wishing to renew it. Please give us a call back, at the earliest possible time!" He was usually confused by this, as he didn't actually own a spaceship of any kind. This time however, he was inspired. Amara was from planet Plant, which was some distance away from earth. Considering her pod could only seat one, he would need a ship of his own if he wanted to travel to the war-torn world.
The way Amara had described it , it sounded like a constant battleground in some areas. It was something unlike any earthling had ever seen, including himself...
In his search for a functioning space ship, budget options were few and far between. Everything was either extremely large and expensive, or incredibly cramped and badly put together. Such was the world of Spaceship dealerships, some of the sellers on Papaya island were real slime balls too. "Tell ya what kid. You buy this five-star top of the line craft here today, and I can drop the interest rate by 1.2%. That's a damn good deal! Best deal in the town!"
Beowulf would stroke his chin before responding "But, didn't you say you could roll the windows down?" The dealer would smirk before continuing "Yes sir-e-bob! Fully functioning windows!" Beowulf would continue "You do realize if someone were to roll down one of the windows, everyone would die right?" The dealer would begin sweating a little, clearly use to selling cars and not spaceships. A small dog-man from across the dealership would be heard yelling at the salesman "Shoeman! My office! Now!"
The dealer would give a small bow before walking away embarrassed by the whole affair.
