Welcome to the Jungle [Open]

Beowulf's inner contemplation would be interrupted for a moment, as he suddenly felt a new energy signature in the area. Strange, he had only checked moments ago and didn't see anything, and this was a big one. The vaguely reminded him of Fend's energy, but not exactly. His eyes would shift curiously downward as a voice began speaking to him. He hadn't actually expected anyone else to be out here, but other fighters had their own strange training spots too... With a power level like that, maybe she came here to train. This was exactly what he needed.

The white haired man would jump down from his tree and land a few meters away from Phakk. His legs would his the ground without buckling, and leaves would puff up from the ground as he landed. He would give her a friendly smile before replying "Ah, nah, you weren't interrupting anything. And I suppose you're right, it is a pretty nice place to look at... I've been here all day in fact."

While she seemed to be a human at first glance, the woman in front of him had strange ears. This indicated to him that she was some kind of alien, which explained her strength. As he thought this to himself, a voice would appear in his head "Beowulf you dope! She's a shinjin too, like me! What's one of us doing on earth though...?" That was an excellent question, but not one Beowulf wanted to ask at the moment. He was curious as to why she was here of all places.

"It is a nice place to look at, but pretty dangerous. A month ago, some of the monsters around here would have torn me to shreds... I'm Beowulf, by the way. I'm a martial artist, in case the outfit didn't give it away. What's someone like you doing all the way out here?"   


Phakk

Beowulf would feel a strange power in the air for a split second, but it would quickly subside, evading further detection. He wondered what this feeling was, but wouldn't dwell on it. The woman in front of him was apparently a shinjin of some kind who simply came for some sight seeing. Most animals did fear powerful people, they tended to have good instincts about that kind of thing. In a way, that explanation made sense, though most animals around here would rather eat than cuddle. "Yeah, some of these creatures can be pretty interesting to watch... Like that one." He would point towards a massive orange dinosaur that walked by some distance away. The creature didn't seem to notice them, for now. 

"Heh. A dancer that punches people. It's kind of funny, but not too far off from the truth in my case. I'm actually here trying to practice in fact." He would grin as the woman stuttered to get her words out. There was a time when he had trouble in social situations as well, and would do his best to carry on the conversation. "I'm guessing you're not much of a fighter yourself, considering you referred to martial arts like that. It's a shame too, you'd be really good with all that strength."

That's when it hit him. This woman was a shinjin, and he was trying to learn a technique invented by shinjin. Maybe she could help him out, if she was willing. "I couldn't help but notice... You're a Shin-gen." "SHINJIN Beowulf!" "Er- Shinjin. Sorry, about my pronunciation... Long story short, I'm trying to master a technique created by your kind. Do you think you might be able to help, in some capacity...?"

 

 

Beowulf was pretty pleased the woman had agreed to help with his training, it wasn't too often folks did. Even still, he was determined to get this right on the first try, he just needed a bit of help. The white haired man would cross his arms and nod before explaining exactly what his technique was. "So, this technique is called the Kayokin. Basically, it channels my adrenaline into an aura that can boost my strength... Right now though, I need to feel pain or fear to turn it on. Basically, I need to fight to jumpstart it. If you'd be willing, I need you to attack me..."

He hoped she had some sort of offensive abilities. She was pretty strong, but Amara was pretty strong too and lacked techniques. He would smirk and respond beofore the woman could even begin refusing "Trust me. Any sort of attack will work, I've been hit by a lot of stuff before."

The white haired warrior would step back a few paces, and a white aura would surround his body. He would bring both arms to his sides, ready to take on any blow directly.

"I know this probably seems reckless, but It's the best way to get things moving..."

It was partially as he feared, this woman lacked offensive techniques capable of damaging him. Getting his adrenaline high was the most important thing here, and without pain he feared that would be impossible. Though there was something he hadn't expected. Apparently, this woman could make him feel fear, through some sort of strange technique no doubt. The shinjin were adept in all sorts of mystical abilities, so surly this would help bring out his abilities somewhat.

The voice of Kid Kai would warn him however "Careful with this Beowulf... It may work, but there could be a catch. I won't be able to pull you out if this gets bad." The white haired warrior would takes his mentor's words into consideration, but decided the risk was worth the reward. He would grin at Phakk's ability and explain "I do accept. I'm sure I'll be able to handle it."

With that, the strange black mist would make it's way to him, clouding his mind and vision. This was a strange sensation to him, unlike anything he had seen since drinking from the sacred water. He felt cold for only a moment, but was impacted by what came next. People were dying before him on a massive scale. Something he thought to be impossible was wiping out the galaxy. His adrenaline rose heavily, and he felt the power become active.

Saying it's name, he would draw it out. "KAYOKIN!" a light blue aura would explode from the man's body, dispersing the black mist  while enveloping Beowulf in a shroud of blue. His mind had been freed from the strange effects of the mist, and his power's were greater than before. He could feel it. "Hm. I think this is it." He would begin inspecting his own hands, noting the strange coloration attached to the form. 

With that, he would swiftly punch the air to demonstrate his new found power...

It looked like all his training with Kid Kai had paid off, and the technique really was successful. That as a huge weight off his shoulders, as he would now have a powerful weapon to rely on in combat. It was far from his only new technique, but it would be more than a little help. Just as it came however, the blue aura and boost it gave subsided. His power was temporary it seemed. "I didn't expect to pull it off so quickly either... Whatever power you used, it really seemed to help."

He wondered what kind of ability the woman used, it was unorthodox to say the least. Perhaps it was some kind of magic, Creme Puff could do stuff like that from what he remembered. "...What am I going to do with it?" That was a question he had never been asked before. He would need to master the technique, but after that. Maybe it would be enough for him to help end the war on planet plant. He figured a shinjin may know about the war and decided to mention his intentions.

"There's a war going on a few planets away. A friend and I are planning on ending it, and seeking a peaceful resolution. I suppose it'll come in handy for that... I still need to master this technique though. That'll take time." He would cross his arms and begin thinking of exactly how he could pull this off.

"Anyway, I really should thank you for the help. I honestly couldn't have done it without that power of yours."  

Beowulf could see something was up with the woman's speech, it became choppy again. She seemed to know a thing or two about the war on plant as well, having some insights on the matter. It seemed the war was no secret by now. Phakk did seem to stumble when he mentioned peace, but that was understandable. Given the violent nature of the conflict, it would be difficult to achieve a peace, and difficult to imagine one. "Yes... I know peace won't be an easy goal, but it'll be a lot less bloody than watching this war play out. If we can somehow end things before too much carnage occurs, we may be able to stabilize things..." He hoped that explanation helped.

For someone so powerful, she really didn't seem to know much about martial arts. Though her magical abilities were quite helpful, and her raw strength was impressive. Maybe he could offer her a trade for the help she gave him, if the Shinjin was willing of course. "I want to pay you back for having helped me with this... You're really strong, I can feel it, and you'd be even better with training. What do you think about meeting up again some time, I could teach you a thing or two about martial arts?" He figured his offer was a good one.

Finally, she would ask after Amara, his saiyan ally. "Uh well... Amara is a saiyan warrior and training partner of mine. She kinda recruited me for her mission to spread peace across Plant."
