The Lost City

Shiyon feels a little dizzy as his ki leaves his body, but again it pays off as Cong is brought back from the unconciousness valley. Thanks to Yakone's help, they managed to raise the fallen warrior before Cyrus was able to free himself from his rocky prison. The devil charged at them, ready to retaliate, but Cong managed to defend them, wounding his forearm and then blasting him with some sort of magic energy. According to the tuffle, the game has been leveled and by what Shiyon could pick up from the findish ruler's ki signal, Yangcong was telling the truth. The tetarian was still way weaker than the oni, but now he would at least be able to dig an opportunity for Yakone to do the heavy damage. He would conserve his remaining energy, though to build it up properly until the moment was fitting to give it all.
— "Go behind his back through the ground. I'll deliver him right in your hands" — Shiyon walks to Yakone's side, muttering his plan to him.

If the young tuffle would listen to the giant, Shiyon would raise his guard and taunt Cyrus.
—"You called me pathetic back then. It looks like you're not much to me yourself right now" — He boasts, with is upper right hand fists pointed at the demon. He then moves his fingers back and forth, calling the king to come to him in a jocular manner. The provocations causes an angered Cyrus to blitz towards Shiyon, who simply punches the air with allof his Max Powered might. The alien had the element of surprise in his favor as the king never saw Shiyon's Bōryokutekken in use, catching the demon off guard. The attack itself wouldn't do much damage, but the invisible shockwave would be enough to repel an unsuspecting Cyrus backwards, leaving him open for Yakone to land his attack.

The "Violent Fist" wouldn't probably be that much effective now that Cyrus knew what to expect, but it served its purpose. The enemy was hit and Yakone managed to humorously bury the demon in the ground. It wouldn't last long and he would break free of it in a mere couple of seconds, but every second of handing Cyrus his own hubris on a spoon to swallow was a treat to Shiyon. The "almighty" ruler was now down on his knees, staring at Yakone. In a fit of rage, the oni pouces at the young tuffle, but is restricted midway through his action by a dashing Shiyon that came from behind him. Using each set of lower and upper arm, the tetarian grabs one of Cyrus' arms, holding it in place and preventing him from doing any harm to his ally. He would naturally lose the power struggle eventually, if left unnatended, given the still noticeable difference between their ki levels. However, his Max Power transformation, plus the fact that each of the fiends' limbs was being held by two of Shiyon's hands would allow the bounty hunter to sustain his target in a vulnerable position for a litte longer, again giving Yakone another chance to breach the demon lord's defenses. Shiyon was also making sure it hurt as much as he could, forcing the king's joint out of their anatomical positioning.
— "Pa-the-tic" — The blue alien taunts again, closing his face in on the king's ear as he grapples him from behind, to deliver yet another blow on his spirit, along with the many others he would receive from Yakone if he attacked.

Shiyon's experiences throghout his harsh life taught him to be much wiser, yes, but something he never quite really grasped that well, was when to honor the priviledge of choosing to remain silent. His bravado is cut short as King Cyrus'  energy signature begins to rise suddenly and with an effortless undulation of his body, the demon manages to break free from Shiyon's grapple, causing the brute to stagger a few steps back. Then he hears bone chilling sound of Yakone's bone shattering seizes the background with the young tuffles shriek of pain joining the symphony in the sequence.
— "Yakone!" — Shiyon says taking a step forward. He doesn't really have time to react, as the demon tosses the blacked out body of his partner aside and quickly turns to Shiyon to shoot an energy blast at him. The power bullet hits him in his chest, but rather than exploding directly upon contact, the ki shot carries the giant with  it for a few meters before blowing up. The explosion ressonates, causing another patch of rocks to fall off the ceiling along with some smaller stones. When the smoke clears, Shiyon can be seen sprawled like a puppet across the ground. The attack tore his clothes, leaving him a still steaming bare chest. A blackened burn scar marks the spot where the tetarian was hit.

Like Yangcong's son, Shiyon was out cold. The war criminal was all alone to deal with King Cyrus now. His only options now were to best the oni in solo combat, or find a way to bring back his allies into fighting shape.

It is a bright day. The scenery looks nothing like the clautrophobic crumbled halls of King Cyrus' castle. It seems to be in some sort of urban center, but the arquitecture doesn't resemble any buildings on earth. They have an alien, artistic look about them. Intercurrent low-frequency pulses echoe in the air in the nearby distance, escalading into a louder whirring as hovering vehicles speed through the streets. A sudden honk of a car horn is heard in the background. The "camera" ajusts, revealing a new shot: a young four-armed boy is lies badly beaten in the gound. Next to him, a smaller, thinner, also quadribrachiate youngster is sat on the ground. His legs are sprawled as he is leant against an iron fence in some sort of alley. There's a big lump in his left eyes and a bit of blood seems to drain from his mouth. He appeared to be on the break of unconciousness, breathing heavily. Four other members of this strange race are around the boy in the ground, grinning at his vexing situation. It soons becomes clear this boy is Shiyon. This was a memory.

The context of the scene was very simple. It had to do with something Shiyon said earlier, when he was talking about King Cyrus to the lady by the bridge, before they were transported to the halls of the monarch's lair. No matter how big and bad you are. There's always someone bigger and badder out there. And back then, just as it was happening now, it applied to Shiyon. On the occasion, moved by his hatred of bullies and natural impulse to stick up for the underdog, he tried to defend a fellow tetarian who was being assaulted by a bunch of delinquents. Shiyon tried to stop them, but this time, he ended up having he ass handed to him. Every dog has its day. But on those two particular iterations of his timeline, Shiyon didn't have his.

The mercenary's senses eventually come back to him. His sight was a little blurry and his mind felt hazy, but there was no long term damage. He realizes Yangcong is in front of him, using some sort of device to heal Yakone. He then pushes himself into a sitting position, holding his hand against his head, caressing.
— "Uh...I'm not dead... So, does that mean we won?" —

It seemed their little adventure also took a toll on Yangcong, despite his immense power, as the tuffle falls on his on lap, presumably due to exertion. King Cyrus was certainly a force to be reckoned with. Although conscious again, Shiyon would still need some quality time to recollect himself after the beating he took. Two blows, it was it took the monarch to put the proud warrior on the verge of dying.

The war criminal and his boy have a little father and son victory talk as the former tends to Yakone's wounds through the use of some sort of medical robit. Shiyon certainly could use something like that, but as a measure of trying to recover what was left of his self-respect, after the humiliating defeat he suffered at the hands of the demon, Shiyon opted to tough it out.

The blue-skinned alien follows his boss through what seems like a hero's parade. The townsfolk were understandably grateful to the group, after the unconventional heroes saved the day, liberating the Lost City from it's Lost status.

The city elder then approach Yangcong, who explains he was in search of some sort of seeds, causing the old geezer to retrieve a small vial containing the desired artifacts. The elder walks the group through the nature of the seeds and after Yangcong presents an unexpectedly noble justification for wanting them, he is rewarded with the item. Shiyon questioned himself internally if such a man really went to hell and if he truly did, whether this was his form of atonent.

Shiyon however however had some pressing meters to attend to which he would go over as soon as they finished talking.
"Well, now that you got what you came here for, I suppose you won't be needing me to plant these. Blue thumbs, not green anyway, so farming is not my thing" Shiyon jokingly raises his hand up to show his finger, illustrating his point.
"If you excuse me, then, I need to find a proctologist now to reimplant my ass after it was handed to me back there. I trust you to deposit my payment so I can afford the bills. The account number is [REDACTED]. Catch you later, boss. Yakone" Shiyon says, leaving the duo, who phase through the ground.
