ENHANCED DNA: SAIYAN PRIDE
When you have sustained 100% or more damage, you gain a +10% boost to all techniques, but you may not boost techniques with the momentum power boost. Healing to the point where you have less than 100% damage sustained deactivates this bonus

ASSIMILATED POWER: TURTLE SCHOOL SECRETS
You start with the Max Power technique and the Be Prepared General Trait for free during character creation. In addition, Max Power no longer drains momentum per turn, but you cannot generate MP naturally either. Your techniques gain an extra +10% power per turn in the Charging state, so long as you are in Max Power.

The maximum amount of items you can carry into a thread is reduced to 2 and cannot be raised by any means. You cannot receive any extra items from other players but you may benefit from use of 1 consumable that is not your own. Additionally, you cannot purchase any Super Items unless that item says otherwise.
Due to this however, your non-sparking Defensive Techniques that do not have the Evasive Variant gain +5% power.
HUNTER
Your Sniper and Lock-On techniques now have their power increased by +40% when their target uses an evasive technique against them.
BE PREPARED (Turtle School Secrets)
When under the Charging status effect you can regain 1KP per turn. Additionally, you may use Light Standard Techniques if you have the KP to do so while under the Charging status, but they cannot be boosted with MP.

BACKGROUND: Splice is the Empire's answer to the enemy. Created as the product of biological-engineering, a genetic marriage between some of the species that have posed infamously some of the strongest threats to the Empire of Arcose's stability. A trifecta of the Saiyan, Namekian and Earthling species genetics respectively, accumulated into a test-tube and grown in a series of vats.
Splice is not the only of his kind, but perhaps a cut above most biological creations that have come out of one of many Imperial laboratories on Arcose. Trained from an early age to take part in the Empire's endless rise and continue evolving as his previous "siblings" have in the military. He has infamously gained a reputation amongst lower rungs of the army to be an effective soldier in suppressing many insurrectionist threats, though for the time being he's opted to be stationed as a prison guard in the Bitter Poles region of Arcose.
A region known to be the coldest region of the planet that houses a maximum prison known as the Ice Pit, confinement of the cruelest and most vicious threats to the Empire. Splice has come to call the place home, if for nothing else but to enjoy the brutality of the environment. A place of perpetual struggle where criminals and guards alike are constantly vying for complete control, where will and instinct is supreme. The only constant perhaps, is fighting. And in this strife, so does Splice remain fighting back against inmates of all creed. Though he has a particular interest towards the convicts he owes his genetic makeup for.
Studying his genetic predecessors, and seeking to go past them in all ways possible. Learning of the creativity of Earthlings, the Spirituality of the Namekians and the sheer drive of Saiyans to great affect as Splice seeks to the perfection of his genetic predecessors. Seeking to overwhelm, conquer and blow past the competition, becoming the Empire's singular genetically perfect being in the process. Splice has vowed to become an undisputed elite within the ranks of Arcose, and perhaps surpass all limits alike, using colder and deadlier methods if nothing else but to advance further.
COMBAT INFORMATION
TECHNIQUES: You start with Three Standard Technique Slots and One Sparking Slot that you can use any way you like. Some species start out with additional slots, or access to certain slot-based abilities for free. You also start with two additional Utility Technique Slots.
STARTING LOADOUT: I'd like to turn all starting XP into PL please. You start with 24,000 XP that can be turned into PL at a 1:1 rate or kept as raw XP to buy items with. You also start with 2,000 Zeni you can use to buy Zeni items with.

Splice unleashes a basic and conservative string of physical strikes or ki blasts, or a minor combination of the two.

Splice briefly taps into his ki and fortifies his body, entering a basic yet militant defensive pose.

Medium Offensive || Cooler Cannon (Starting Technique #3)
With the will to destroy his enemies, Splice still his body for a moment as he charges up a dense sphere of dark blue ki in an index finger as he points it above his body. Leaving his body open to attack, Splice charges the ki nonetheless until he launches it with a simple swipe. Unleashing a devasting radiated navy sphere of ki that is the size of a small car.

As if preparing for a snowstorm, Splice hardens his body with ki, manifesting wispy blue of aura of ki.

Bearing the wit and the under-handedness of the most wretched in the Empire, Splice drops his guard and radiates a malicious feeling ki as opens his body for attack briefly. If adequately damaged within the window, Splice's ki bursts black and blue as it empowers his next counter strike.

Medium Sparking Offensive || Frost Beam (Starter Sparking)
Struck with the cold heart of the empire, Splice's body goes immediately stiff as he charges up a fierce density of ki. Manifesting a wispy swirling vortex of dark blue ki around his body as lightning erupts from his form. Bringing a single arm to the side of his body, Splice charges a sphere of crackling purple and teal ki in but a single index and fires at once. Locking onto his target with brutality as he unleashes a ray of dense raw ki at a given target. Splice favors to use his scouter to land this attack especially, opting for sheer devastation at one given target to clear the board in times of war and strife alike.

Through a skillful application of ki, Splice is able to fly through the air.
Utility Technique || Ki Sensing (Starter Utility #2)
A technique that allows Splice to sense, measure, and differentiate the ki signatures of ki attacks and all living beings without the Anti-Sense trait.
Support Technique || Max Power (Turtle School Secrets)
Splice bulks up his body to its physical limit with ki, causing his mass to explode as his muscles increase in density and sheer size, leaving him little in the way of finesse or grace for sheer power output. His voice seems to grow louder and resonates with a deeper bass in this semi-form.
Effect: Max Power is activated as the first action on your post. While active, it increases the power of all your techniques by +10% and drains 1 MP per post at the start of each turn. You cannot gain MP unless a trait generates it. You cannot use Evasive or Escape techniques, nor can you block escapes or defend others while active. Activating Max Power requires you to have at least 1 MP regardless of traits. Max Power can be deactivated, but only as the last action on a post AND at the end of your second post after activation at the earliest. If you hit zero MP while in Max Power, the effects immediately end and you are inflicted with the Winded status effect.
