Gira sat in a hastily set up lawn chair in the front yard of Saiyagirl Tower, reading a comic book. Specifically, she was reading Arachno-Man. It was a comic series that Russ had recommended when he and Gira first met, and she was finally getting around to reading it. It was funny; despite her superhero persona, the young Saiyan actually hadn't read that many comic books. She was slowly broadening her horizons, though, and this was one of the comics where she was starting. She wouldn't get to read her comics very much today, however. After forming her new Earth defense team, Team Z, she was looking to train all of its members until they were an absolute force of nature and were capable of defending the planet from any of the threats that were rising around the galaxy. With Chomei's Dragon's Law, she was quite certain that there were many out there who would view Earth's new isolationist policies as a point of weakness... and Gira was worried that this would make the planet a target. While there were a lot of strong folks on Earth, she wasn't sure there would be enough to stop the likes of Maxsuz and his Orchestra.
That being the case, they had to train and get ready for a potential attack. They managed a victory in Central City, but that victory was a little too close for the young Saiyan's liking. So, she decided to train every single member of Team Z personally. Together, they would eventually have the power to defend the planet. For now, though, their numbers were weak... and all but she and Russ lacked the strength to defend the planet against the most terrifying threats. The first member on her list to train was Tunic. She wasn't an "official" member of the team per se, but Gira considered her a great ally and hoped that it was only a matter of time before she joined in a more official capacity. Earlier in the day, Gira called the young Baskerville on her scouter, inviting her to a training session at Saiyagirl Tower. Even if she wasn't an official member of the team, her willingness to help with the appearance of that cyborg in Central City convinced her that she could be counted on to protect the planet. So, she waited, kicked back in her lawn chair as she waited for any word on Tunic's arrival.
