Each and every step he nearly made a gaping hole through these thick snow lands, it was almost like the snow was far too tall for most to venture this far, or perhaps not. He had never been this far, but he could tell that this was no place for the common folk to inhabit. Nay, you probably needed to be nuts to actually handle any of it mentally... physically was a whole other matter, but Bansho did not seem to have any of those issues, past the biting cold that was rather annoying. Hmm, he could turn into a massive polar bear, to feel warmer, but admittedly his mind pressed him a tad more than just the cold.
"Maybe they are right. Is it really no more?"
He mouthed to himself, meanwhile his eyes scanned the area, but sadly there was far too much fog to even go past a certain distance with his own vision. But, in short, Nervan had suggested him to watch that Voyage to the North film, and with all things considered, he happened to just get strange dreams ever since then. Each and every time he dreamed this land filled with snow, to the brim. However every time he would see some kind of... hot springs? That was what they were called.
A place with a source full of warm, steaming water. That it would somehow magically streamed out of a nearby mountain, indeed a mirage in the middle of all these freezing winds.
However when Bansho arrived in the nearby city, he happened to ask a few of the people that he stopped on the road here and every single one of them almost could swear there was no such thing. Only one person, much older than the others, could swear tales used to say that one such place used to exist until it was lost forever. But no one would know just where this place used to be.
So, on a whim, like most others of Bansho's adventures, here he was, fighting off against the winds in search of something that could very well not exist, but he could see it vividly many different times in his dreams. So perhaps, it had some kind of meaning. Not that he could confirm any of it, most of his dreams were... gibberish, or totally random. But well, Nervan did seem to pick an interest with them, if only just brief. Other people also tried to read their own dreams.
And thus, the monkey dressed in his orange robes, dark stones necklaces and wristbands, would stride forth, in search of something or someone.Thread Power Level: 14,061
