The two half-pint saiyans begrudgingly accepted Vennels terms for living here, especially when they'd be unsupervised. Of course it was different parts of her house rules that the two took umbrage with, but they seemed to at the end of the day, at least give Vennel the affirmation that they'd do as told. And that was enough for her. Though she found herself interested in their joint retelling of their encounter with Vocado.
The elder saiyan nodded, picking up her plate and any others from those that were finished, and then walking them to the sink, where they'd be deposited for cleaning. She also grabbed the skillet and placed that in the sink for a rinse before setting it to dry on the rack placed beside the sink.
So, Vocado was last seen still around those ruins. Onnio must have run into him shortly after she left, as far as she could reason. That or he was heading back this way. With any luck she could still catch up, and especially in the condition she felt now- she could win the whole war herself, she felt. But her thoughts were interrupted by Onnio's declaration that he'd be taking a post meal nap. And no sooner had he said it, he seemed to have followed through, which forced a soft chuckle from Vennel at the sight of it. "Well, Zuqetta. Seems you're going to be in charge around here while I'm away. Make sure to get a copy of that key made for Onnion later, don't need either of you getting locked out and needing to find creative means of getting back in." She said, as she'd go to pat the girl on the head.
This was going to be a strange new chapter in Vennel's life. Housing two homeless children in her tiny apartment. Maybe she'd look into a new place if she ever got a pay bump from the military, she thought. At least one with rooms for them, least ways Zuqetta could sleep on a real bed- though she wondered if Onnio would even like such luxury. "I think I'll turn in for a nap as well. Mind washing the dishes when you get a chance, Zuq?" She asked, as she walked into her bed room to get some rest.
