Zuqetta went from proud of winning, to timid at the result of Vennel's own criticisms, back to being in a chipper mood, once her mentor had congratulated her on the victory and informed her of the new duties she had to complete. And what's more, she seemed to even protest at Vennel's offer to Onnio to join the Shredder Corps. "I wonder why she seemed so apprehensive about that," she thought to herself as the boy glowered in the praise.
Onnio politely declined the invitation to join the Shredder Corps, which was understandable. He likely had his own battle brothers and sisters to consider, and she could respect that. But to her surprise, he was already familiar with Vocado. "Oh so you've met the captain already? Interesting, when abouts was this, do you reckon?" She'd not heard from him since they parted ways, and she was eager to rejoin him on the front. And to add the matters, the boy seemed eager to tell his crewmates about it and perhaps would bring them all to the front lines, "the more the merrier, I say," she added.
If the boy had information on Vocado and his brother though, she'd be interested to pick up their trail. Perhaps she'd be leaving Sadala City sooner than she'd anticipated. But before she could think about what was to come next, Onnio's stomach made a familiar noise to any healthy, red-blooded Saiyan. She grinned and shrugged, "Well I'll take you up on some information about the Mercenary Outpost, but why not join us? I can cook decent enough, and it beats spending zeni on prepared food," that stuff was always so expensive. She couldn't reliably afford that and other expenses she had to maintain. "We're heading to my apartment, it's a few blocks away over that way, " she said, pointing towards the south west part of the city. "But if you'd rather try your luck elsewhere, you could try Meat Sweats, it's a diner that has pretty good portion size to zeni value ratio." It was a rather repugnant name for a restaurant, but equally fitting given the culture it existed in.
Looking back to Zuqetta, Vennel shrugged. She'd thought about asking the girl if she'd mind the company coming over, but at the same time it'd be good for her to socialize properly with her peers. Otherwise she might form some sort of unearned superiority complex, and she definitely didn't need help in that regard, with how proud she could get.
