You start with the Max Power technique for free during character creation. In addition, Max Power no longer drains momentum, instead you can gain up to 1 MP naturally per turn, and you may intercept attacks that target others.

Thrice per thread, upon dealing or taking a total of 50% damage, restore 1 KP and 1 MP.
GANG-UP [Optional]
If one of your allies has dealt at least 20% damage to an enemy within the past two turns they are marked as a 'target'. Your offensive techniques against this target gain the Overflowing variant. Any allies dealing damage to the target refreshes the duration. You can only gain this benefit against one target at a time.
CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS
APPEARANCE: A battle worn Heran, Tekina stands at 5'11" with a lean and toned build the holds a few scars from her time at battle, the most infamous of which is the scar that stretches from her mouth and close to her right ear, giving her a Glasgow smile.

BACKGROUND: Tekina grew up on the streets of Heran and never knew her parents, she knew absolutely nothing about them and doesn't even know if the name Tekina is one her parents had given her or if the orphanage had given her nor does she care anymore, the once burning desire to find her parents had instead turned into a burning hatred that drove the young Heran into a life of crime to build her own life from the scraps that was left behind. It was during her time being a mercenary that she'd run into the love of her life, Kuro, a Konatsian that while at first grating and infuriating to her had eventually worn down her defenses and the two began a relationship. For years, life continued as it always did with the duo taking whatever jobs would come there way to pay the bills and build a reputation, until one day Tekina came a rather striking half breed with delusions of grandeur.
A half breed that had eerily familiar eyes and hair. Taking the half breed called Ping back to her home, she began a fight with Kuro, having believed that the bastard had cheated on her and then had the audacity to abandon his child without ever once speaking to her about it. It was only after Ping became distressed that she let the bastard go, even if Tekina couldn't figure out any real details about Ping, the poor thing not even knowing her real age and instead claiming to be 80, she had decided to take the powerful and young half breed on as her own child, much to the dismay of her lover, Kuro, who still adamantly declines being the father.
While the subject is still touchy and Tekina still believes that Ping is Kuro's daughter, the two still love each other with Tekina believing that she should try and give Ping what she never had, a loving family, even if Tekina was forced to be a stepmother. Granted, she probably wasn't a good step mother, getting your entire family into a life of piracy after a duel with a saiyan pirate by the name Asperaga and having your stepdaughter declare herself the Goddess of Pirates isn't exactly good parenting but they needed to make zeni somehow and they're all good fighters despite Ping's presumably young age.

Tekina rushes forward and forms a ki blade on her hand that she uses to ruthlessly hack and slash at her target before kicking off them, either knocking her target away or pushing herself away.

Tekina extend a hand toward the attack and forms a ki shield directly in front of herself to defend against the attack while setting herself up for a quick and efficient counter attack.
Power: 60% (2TP for 20% defense buff)

Heavy Sparkling Attack || Just Die Already!
Tekina gathers up her ki to fire it as a simple and straightforward purple beam capable of enveloping most humanoids in a constant pressure of damage, however after meeting Kuro, Tekina altered her attack to become malleable and capable or merging with other attacks.

Utility Technique || Flight
By some means, usually through a skillful application of your ki, you are able to fly through the air.
Utility Technique || Ki Sensing
A technique that allows you to sense, measure, and differentiate the ki signatures of ki attacks and all living beings without the Anti-Sense trait. Higher ki signatures are easier to sense and can be sensed at greater distances than lower ones. This technique is passive and does not use KP.
