GENERAL INFORMATION
NAME: Ka
ALIASES: XXI
AGE: ~50 years
GENDER: who knows? (Any pronouns)
SPECIES: Bio-Android
CORE TRAITS:
Engineered Persistence - Adrenaline: Thrice per thread, upon dealing or taking a total of 50% damage, restore 1 KP and 1 MP.
Enhanced DNA: Pick one Core Trait (that is not also listed in Engineered Persistence, or Core Traits that conventionally accompany your chosen trait with the exception of Alien traits.) from any other species and you can use it as your own.
Saiyan Pride (Enhanced DNA): When you have sustained 100% or more damage, you gain a +10% boost to all techniques, but you may not boost techniques with the momentum power boost. Healing to the point where you have less than 100% damage sustained deactivates this bonus.
GENERAL TRAITS:
Antisense: Your ki is invisible to energy sensing and scouters, even in the midst of combat - this can be toggled on and off. In addition, escape techniques have a boost of +20% to their total effectiveness and your first escape technique per thread costs no KP.
Mimicry: When a standard or support technique has been used by another character in your thread, you may declare that technique as 'mimicked'. You may then use that technique as if it was your own three times during that thread. Does not apply to Sparking or Merging Techniques and does not carry over to future threads.
OPTIONAL TRAIT:
Assimilated Power: Pick one Optional Trait from any other species and you can use it as your own.
Unscathed (Assimilated Power): Your wound threshold is increased by +1, and your wound HP Penalty is reduced by -25%. This extra wound is treated the same as your second for its timers. In addition, should you join a death-enabled AT with 0 wounds and die, you may instead opt to live and take 3 wounds at once. Doing this results in a Penalty timer of 6 months.

CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS
APPEARANCE: Ka stands at about 6’3, with a slim yet deceptively strong build. They never seem to sit still, always levitating or standing on their tail. The scars littering their body signal many battles fought, but asking them questions ultimately leads to nowhere. On their collarbone is a marking that cannot come off, no matter how hard one tries - ‘XXI.’

BACKGROUND: The origins of this troublesome Bio-Android are not fully known, even to them. One thing about them, though, is that they do love their fights. That may just be why they’ve been kicked out of every city and town they’ve touched - or maybe they left out of boredom, after laying waste to businesses and buildings several times over.
But even before that, they first were sighted around the Lychee Sector about 10 years ago, particularly lurking around what are now Destron Crags. Why they wandered into civilization recently is obvious: they cannot possibly live in a place where the deadly Destron lingers! And so, they began to interfere with the Tuffles first, raiding the markets for food after they deemed the forests to be ‘too boring.’ Breaking into the Research Complex was their most interesting escapade, but it was short and sweet due to the heavily armed Tuffles and threats of ‘secret weapons.’ (They do want to go back, eventually. Something about it is so tempting!)
Next, it was time to bother the Saiyans. Their use of ki and martial arts rather than high-tech devices (how cheap! And boring) was arguably more interesting, and so Ka was able to get into many a street fight. That lasted longer than their time in the Lychee Sector, but in the end had the same result - they got escorted out. But it was too fun of a game, so they’d go back and forth over and over. They learned how to play with their attackers, skipping and floating just out of reach, and disappearing before their eyes!
These days, Ka hides out in the Radditsu District, slinking around and doing whatever they like. And when they venture out of the city out of boredom, it’s everyone’s problem.

However, the Bio-Android had a rebellious streak. It was shut down and abandoned after the war, left behind to die, whether from the Destron or enemy troops. But it was able to survive, and soon awoke.
