Majin Mania (Halluc)

    It was almost comedic how fast the stranger ROCKETED towards her from the direction of the thrown boulder, him seeming to SHOOT into view just as fast as the rock had disappeared over the horizon! ...And what an UGLY guy it was too! Laezi found her face scrunching up almost instinctively at the sight of the grey, emaciated, harsh-faced... THING hovering now above her, his white sunken eyes glaring down at her with the kind of disdain a cranky old-guy might give a kid playing too close to his lawn. Laezi stared back, almost defiant at the creature... and it was almost after a solid moment of staring did she realize something: ...THIS THING WAS A MAJIN! He didn't have a nose and his proportions were ALL WRONG but the tentacle and the way his eyes sat in his head gave it away now that she was paying attention! So WEEEEIRD looking... What HAPPENED to him!? Where was his color? Where was his FLESH, even!? The man looked like he hadn't eaten a day of his life and was DISTINCTLY AWARE of it judging by that permanently-set scowl! Laezi's mood almost seemed to reflect the stranger's as she glared up at him. He glared down at her. They both glared at each other until the man spoke first. He chastised her for apparent carelessness, claiming that she coulda hurt an Earthling if she hit one!

    "Yeah, well I didn't!" Laezi huffed, his gruff, short-way of speaking already getting on her nerves! "Why're you bothering me anyway? Shouldn't you be eating something!?" She wiggled a finger at his body as if the reason for asking was obvious! "...And besides... The world is a BIIIIIIG big place! If I don't try my hardest because I MIGHT hit something stupid, then I won't ever get any stronger!" 

    She just didn't get why THIS guy was getting on her case today, NOW of all days! She just got a HYOOOGE jump in power and he was telling her to stop using it!? Heeeeeck NO! She was gonna FLAUNT IT, find out where her limits were so she could PUSH THEM!

    THAT was part of the fun of being strong!

    "What do you even meeeeeean???" Laezi huffed, baffled by the thin, ugly man. 'Taste better as candy?' SURELY that wasn't what he meant, right? He must've meant... Well, surely he... Um... Okay, well Laezi had no idea what he actually meant by that, but she was CERTAIN it wasn't what it sounded like! Candy PEOPLE!? Not only was it ridiculous, it was also... terrifying, the prospects. Laezi had only just come to terms with the fact meat and eggs came from animals and that animals, by extension, were food! The thought had never even CROSSED her mind before! Now she was being told that people were... were CANDY!?

    PREPOSTEROUS... Probably!.

    The way the man spoke was odd too, these three-quarters sentences as if he either didn't have the words or neglected their use when he was speaking. It gave his rhythm this off-beat cadence, sounding like someone who had just learned to speak the common tongue. Now, Laezi didn't have the LARGEST lexicon, probably more of a picture-book than a dictionary, but even SHE spoke more smoothly than this guy! Everything about him from his appearance, to what he was saying, to HOW he said it was throwing the Majin through a loop. She didn't know if she could trust him... 

    "Dead." Laezi grunted in response to his probing, actually surprising herself with how flatly she spoke it. "Bad guy killed my Momma. Why do you even care?" She crossed her arms over her chest indignantly... then paused again, doubly surprised! No visions... and she spoke with such harsh suspicion, it was like she'd caught the guy doing something really bad a second ago! ...This was the first person in recent memory that had brought out this kind of feeling in her, that this guy was ugly... in more than just his gaunt, grey face.

    "...You don't speak right." Laezi said after a moment, irritation starting to creep into her voice! As the GIANT grey man squatted down to about eye-level, Laezi raised a finger and poked him where his nose would've been! "Make sense!"

    Halluc frowned. It seemed all his face was capable of doing was frowning. Laezi could practically TASTE the stubborn emotion his expression projected. ...Tasted bitter, aromatic, something one shouldn't eat... Like a marker or something... Still, in response to Laezi's DEMAND for him to "make sense," the towering Majin man would then "make cents." With a flick of his tentacle and a flash of light, a nearby rock would CRUMBLE away into a pile of golden coins fit for a cereal mascot! Laezi stared at what he'd done, then back up at the man and shrug, silently asking the question "why." ...And he'd respond, claiming to have "made cents!"

    "OOOOOOOOH!" Laezi WHOOPED, realizing, even if Halluc had not, that the giant grey man had made a PUN! HA! The little blue Majin would let out a long string of laughter, pointing at the man as she nearly doubled over in her hilarity. She didn't even KNOW he was making a joke! Between his flat tone of voice and his utterly DEAD facial expression, she would never have guessed! SOMEHOW, that made it all the funnier!

    "I get it! 'Made cents!'" Laezi continued, reaching out and scooping up a pile of golden coins! "Money-joke! Very funny!" She would then allow the coins to fall from her fingers, taking a moment to enjoy the clink-clank sound of metal falling on metal. ...Such a nice sound... "But seriously... What do you mean?"

    The man would explain he doesn't really understand speech well as he had only just learned to speak it a bit. He DID however, find that the man who killed Laezi's mom was bad! This was good! ...And that he should eat him. This was bad. Laezi smiled at the first... then stared incredulously at the second, the Majin's eyes practically ENGULFING the figure with how wide they stretched! She said nothing, not for several minutes as she tried to determine if this was another joke... and while she tried to keep the imagery of CANNIBALISM at bay. Halluc attempts a smile... but Laezi doesn't interpret it as such. Rather, it seemed to her more as a clunky upturn-of-the-lips with nothing behind it... well, nothing new anyway. Halluc seemed just as frowny as ever... especially in the eyes.

    "Um... Don't eat people...?" Laezi mumbled, actually kinda afraid of the man now! "Its... um... not good..."

    OOOOOKAY... Laezi was officially freaked out. The Majin stood and stared at her massive, skinny counterpart as he recited his philosophy on cannibalism, how it was, in fact, GOOD to eat bad people, how, in fact, killing ALL the bad guys was good because prisons didn't do anything! Laezi's wide silver eyes stared like those of a fish: uncomprehending and blank. Now, the little blue Majin never really HAD a solid grasp on "good and evil" in the way a lot of others do. SURE, she had a decent "naughty and nice" list, but evil and good...? Eeeeeeh...? Now here this man was, preaching his beliefs in why consumption of PEOPLE was a good thing... and the Majin was starting to get a good idea on what "evil" really looked like. She even had to shut down her mind before IMAGES would appear inside, showing her, in graphic detail, just what such a dark feast might look like!

    Incomprehension gave way to fear... and fear to anger, the Majin's soul igniting in a self-preserving fire, steam beginning to PUFF out of her little blue body! Muscle began to SWELL in the little blue girl's petite form, almost growing BULKY for her size as her aura swelled and swelled! Halluc would then amend that he didn't eat people AS people, but food... and this somehow didn't make the situation any better. Laezi didn't know what was worse: Eating a scared person and liking it... or doing it anyway despite you NOT liking it. The sheer AUDACITY of Halluc to say this to her, to speak as if eating someone were a good thing BURNED outrage in the Majin like one wouldn't believe! Despite liking to fight, Laezi didn't really like HURTING people... not really. She didn't see fights as hurting, just two people having fun!

    ...Whatever Halluc thought he was doing was different. Whatever punishment he thought he was dishing out was WORSE than the people he was doing it to. It HAD to BE, right!? Nobody would ever deserve that!

    Laezi's aura flared higher and higher, her eyes flashing a deep, wrathful red as she glared down her counterpart... before jumping up, grabbing at his head-tentacle, and SWINGING Him down like a mallet, aiming to SMASH the ground in front of her face first!

    "YOU"RE A BAD MAN!" Laezi roared, scooping up a nearby boulder and raising it over her head! "YOU CAN'T EAT PEOPLE!" She would then SLAM the rock DOWN on Halluc's body, over and over and over again... assuming she had managed to slam him in the first place.

    Laezi bashed and bashed, fear puppeteering her body in wild, feral jerks. She smashed the grey figure until he was nothing but flat, formless paste, ground his body against the rocks until what had been humanoid only vaguely resembled the outline of one, crushed until less and less stone came away each time in her hands, the strength of each impact rendering her weapon as rubble by the final swing. And by that swing, the figure had disappeared an instant before impact, Laezi huffing and puffing heavily as she scanned the ground for her target.

    ...He wasn't there. WHY WASN'T HE THERE!? Laezi felt her nerves seize as fear gripped in her more tightly, her body almost knotting up upon itself as it tensed in anticipation for some kind of unseen counterattack. She whipped her head this way and that, her sanguine eyes flashing across the landscape before her, spotting the figure standing a respectable distance away, unbothered. Not undamaged, his form dented like how a battered robot's frame might be, but he hardly seemed WOUNDED. Laezi huffed clenching her hands into fists. He was stronger than she thought... FASTER too! She wasn't gonna be able to run from him if he decided to eat her! ...She'd have to make her stand here against this weird, grey, skinny, ugly thing and hope that SHE was stronger still.

    ...But instead of attacking immediately... he decided to moralize to her! Had the Majin not been so WIRED at the implication of go-lucky cannibalism, the Majin's jaw might've dropped at what she was hearing! Oh, so it was bad for HER to throw rocks across a generally barren landscape, but it was okay for him to eat people!? Such a perverted sense of justice caused Laezi's face an almost sickly green, the chaotic whirlwind of emotions inside causing her own head to spin!

    "NO! SHUT UP!" Laezi roared as the man demanded an apology She clutched at her head, fingers clawing down her face in utter disbelief at the situation she found herself in. "SHUTUPSHUTUPSHUTUP! NO! YOU EAT PEOPLE! I'M NOT SORRY!" She LURCHED down and DUG her fingers into the earth below her. With a sharp grunt, Laezi would RIP a massive rectangular hunk of stone from the earth and hoist it over her head! "IT'S NOT OKAY IF THEY'RE GOOD OR BAD! YOU EAT THEM! EEEEEEEAAAAAAAT THEEEEEM!" Even saying it caused a sickly expression to flash over Laezi's face. She felt something burble unhappily in her stomach... Possibly her second-breakfast. "YOU'RE CRAZY! NUTS! STUPID!" She would JUMP at Halluc, swinging her massive stone weapon down like a mallet.
