BACKGROUND: Frederick Montague, or "Fez" as he prefers to be known, was born into a wealthy, noble family in decline. Once a powerful member of the Orichalcum Shield, the family and the organization itself are mere shadows of their former selves. The only scrap of their former power that remains is Castle Montague, an imposing structure in Earth's northern mountains. Once a shining beacon of power, it now lies crumbling with age, Its once sturdy walls now weathered and covered in moss, though still as sturdy as ever. Much like the family itself. Despite the years and the toll they have taken, they have done nothing to shake the pride and steadfast nature of the Montagues. Their old glory is gone, but not lost. Fez and his mother have done much work to rebuild their power, refusing to be the generation that allows the family to fade forever. 

Besides their castle, they still maintain their ancestral weapon, a reminder of better days long gone; the crossbow, Gjallarhorn. As much a work of art as it is a weapon, it serves as the symbol of their wish to bring the Montagues back into the light as ardent defenders of Earth. Fez was born into privilege all the same, enjoying a life of wealth from the time he was born. Despite this, Fez feels much more at home with his fellow bandmates; the world famous rockband, Mystify. Made up of friends from Frederick's childhood, the rest of the band come from more common backgrounds. Fez is their lead singer and special effects coordinator all in one! Utilizing illusory magic that he learned from his family's Grand Library, he crafts a concert experience that must be seen to be believed! Fez's signature move, the one everyone waits for during every concert, happens during the finale's guitar solo. Utilizing his telekinesis, Fez's guitar plays on its own as he surfs the crowd, illusory images of dragons and other creatures flying over the audience. The finale is different every time; a purposeful choice to keep the fans coming back to see what's new!

Fez is a showman, and he rarely takes things seriously. While his humor might be a bit mean spirited to some, his jabs are always good natured. However, he is quite prideful, viewing himself as a self-made man through his music, even though it was his family's wealth that allowed him to indulge in this hobby and receive the training and gear to be good at it. Still, he views the fame and fortune that his band was able to obtain as being completely due to the skill of himself and his bandmates; and he has a point. Even though his family's wealth got the band started, it was rocketed into the stratosphere by their unique, high energy, high spectacle shows and the personalities that each of them bring to the table.

For now, Fez is content with working on his band, using the fame he has garnered to raise the profile of the Montagues as a whole.

Summoning a golden shield of energy, Fez can either use it to protect himself or throw it towards another person to protect them.

Heavy Sparking Technique || Svalinnstaðr
Holding Gjallarhorn out in front of him and facing upward, a shield of energy manifests from the weapon.
Power: 110%
KP Cost: 5 KP

Utility Technique || Illusory Image
Fez can create illusions of anything he can imagine; from people to objects, or even lighting or fog! These illusions are intangible, and if he wishes to create an illusion of another character, OOC permission is required from the person playing that character.

Utility Technique || Telekinesis
Fez is capable of using his mind to lift and manipulate objects.

Fez's illusory moves have been developed further, allowing for him to create more complex, moving illusions with sound for his band's performances! If creating an illusory version of an existing character, OOC permission is required from the person playing that character.
