"Wh... why noht?" Laezi asked, surprised by this revelation! In her mind, nice things should be done because they were nice! Why wouldn't they do a nice thing for Tunic every once in a while? The Majin found herself staring more at her pastry than at the girl before her, wondering how often this girl ever even HAD these... She had her own servant so... she HAD to have pastries, right? In fact, she could have them whenever she wanted and stuff! ...Maybe it was that nobody she didn't know did this kinda stuff for her...

Laezi's chewing slowed, the dusty gears in her head starting to turn. Money wasn't something that came easy to the Majin. She usually had to scrounge for it or even FIGHT for it in order to get any decent amount... But that didn't really mean she had to use it ALL on just herself! Maybe she could put a little aside... You know... for friendly stuff! Yeah, that sounded good! She'd have ONE pocket for HER money, and another pocket for friend-money! Ah, she loved it when a plan came together.

"Well, that no good!" Laezi decided, swallowing her mouthful! "I get you pastries more!"

With the topic changed, Tunic would muse that the Majin's armor... it must've been damaged in battle, right? Laezi would nod, taking another bite... and remembering to swallow before speaking.

"Mhm! I fight lots!" She pumped, her arm, her petite physique actually bulking slightly at the motion! It seemed as if there was a LOT more toughness in there than had met the eye! Coincidentally, Tunic would do the same thing, musing how she fought with a polearm more, though. The Majin blanked at the word... Polearm... Polearm...

OH! A STICK!

"Why you fight with stick?" Laezi asked, her face contorting with confusion. "It more fun to punch people! Stick just stick!" She held her hands as if holding a LOOOONG stick. "Why you use this?" She mimed swinging it around. "Really long and pokey. It no fun to hit people with!"

There was something endearing about the flippancy of the Majin and it brought a faint smile to Tunic's lips. While the young Baskerville couldn't precisely put her finger as to why this was the case, it was a quirk worth noting as she spent more time getting to know Laezi. Pastries as a commodity to realize this fact was somewhat amusing however. "Well, I think you..." Before Tunic had the opportunity to finish her thought the Majin had already made up her mind on the pastries. Choosing not to press the situation Tunic let her thoughts slide and gave a soft laugh.

Giving a curious nod, Tunic pulled a silver capsule from her pocket, tossing it into the air as she pressed the button. From the capsule the full six feet length of the trident fell into the young Baskerville's lap, it's rose gold colour catching the light filtering thought he glass roof above. Reverently Tunic's hand brushed over the haft of the weapon before turning her attention back to Laezi. Keeping the weapon firmly in her lap. "This is Himnabrjótur, it has been in my family for a very long time." She started in on her short explanation.

"The first born of each generation is taught to fight with polearms so that they can inherit Himnabrjótur." A melancholic smile crossed Tunic's lips as she spoke, her grip tightening around the weapon some. "I inherited it earlier than I should have, so I do not know how to use it too well." Her grip loosened as she spoke, instead her hands took to slowly stroking along the trident's length. Tunic's gaze shifted away from the Majin for a moment before she shook the thoughts away and put on a faux smile. "What makes you want to fight?" She then asked, tilting her head curiously to the side.

Meanwhile Merri had begun to make her way back to Lady Baskerville, the light repairs to the Majin's armour had been completed, albeit the plating itself still needed painted to match the remainder of it, but that should be doable with relative ease should she want it done. The maid made her slow approach to the two, not wishing to immediately interrupt the conversation they seemed to be having. However, seeing the trident in Lady Baskerville's lap did make her hesitate for a moment.
