The Peculiar Saiyajin

Flying over the desolate ice, the cold of the atmosphere a nice change from the cities. The cold never hurt this Saiyan, sure it was cold, but he quite liked it. The hoodie and pants were enough to shield him from the freezing cold,  he also would layer ki over his body shielding himself from the sheer cold wind, though he still felt the cold of the atmosphere. "They said it was around here." Some brace Land of Ice adventurers had said there was a monster rampaging nearby, it was a brand new rumor, as some people actually did try and explore and find things in this frozen landscape. Rhuba had no idea how, he knew that he loved living outdoors, but even he had only came here before to meet The Orchestra.

Hearing the echo of a loud crash, he stopped midair. Rhuba knew that some creatures sensed ki, so he had lowered his to not be so obvious. He still wanted creatures to avoid him, but if he had entered the region blaring all his strength the monster might have ran away. He's seen some creatures here be as strong as he was now, and some humans even. The fact that he was even hiding his strength meant he was here to have fun rather than help those that called for it, perhaps see if he could absorb the creature with his new powers.

Looking down at his hand, he conjured a black tendril that seeped out of his skin and wiggled around. "Can you sense it too?" The tendril wiggled, being controlled by Parasitix as if nodding to his question. There was a decent power level not far from him, and as soon as he locked unto it, he quickly descended to the ground. Slamming down into the snow that had built up for lord knows how long, the snow beneath his feet as his feet slammed into the icy layer beneath him scattered, leaving a pretty big hole in the snow. "Let's go," he said to himself, but also to Parasitix.

As he spoke to it, Parasitix read Rhuba's mind, realizing that he had wanted to change his outfit. Black tendrils wrapped around him as he began to sprint, morphing into a shadowy hooded cape that covered Rhuba's figure. No matter how the wind blew, the cape did not reveal what was underneath. Rhuba's face would disappear behind a shadow, now the only thing visible inside the hood was piercing glowing red eyes. "You're amazing Parasitix." He said, sprinting toward where he could sense the creature.

Upon reaching the location, he'd witness Nashi's machine. Finally able to see what was causing the earlier commotion about monsters, he began to draw the creature underneath his hooded cape. Though he was now drawing, the figure that Nashi would see would be a glowing red-eyed shadowy caped figure staring at it, not moving one bit. Parasitix had made Rhuba's cape bigger, hiding the movements underneath.

The mechanical creature would approach Rhuba as he finished his drawing. The eyes that pierced the shadows under the hood would now begin to follow Rhuba's eyes, as he tilted his head at the creature. "Are you a robit?" He'd ask ask as a wave of energy would roll over the snow, creating clouds of snow as he raised the ki he was exerting. "Are you magic?" The hooded figure in front of Nashi would tilt it's head the opposite way now, as the unblinking red eyes would continue to stare blankly. Rhuba could tell that the thing was strong, but he didn't quite fully understand what it was. Was it like Chord, a robot?

It answered him, he didn't think it actually would. The way it moved did seem deliberate, as if it was being piloted. He could sense that, but he still couldn't tell what it was exactly. "Spectators?" Rhuba began to clap, then slowly began to laugh. "Brava! Bravo!" He'd jokingly mock him. "Hey, Parasitix, can you absorb this?" Parasitix would shake Rhuba's head for him, answering the question. "Oh, hm." He'd scratch his chin, in deep contemplation. "I mean, we can have some fun at least, right?" Rhuba would ignite his Arc-Blade, the ki-sword extending from what looked like a black hilt that Rhuba held in his right hand. As the blade ignited, a black shadowy sheathe appeared on his side, designed like a samurai's katana sheathe. "The question now would be..."

"Are you entertaining?" As he finished his sentence, a red and disfigured smile would morph from underneath the hood. Rhuba would dash forward Arc-Blade in hand, trying to quickly overcome the distance. As he'd reach Nashi's Aggran Armor, he'd go for a quick shallow slice beneath the armor's shoulder joint, trying to cut the thinnest part he could cut.

The mech was ready for him, it would move to deflect Rhuba's sword. Not knowing what the Mech's weapon could do, he had luckily heard the whirring of the blade it wielded as it swung to deflect. Deactivating his Arc-Blade in the moment that Nashi would have collided with it. Sliding underneath the blade itself as well, he would avoid the momentum of the swing that might have clipped him after deactivating his blade.

Though the step forward thruster attack was successful. Though Rhuba had allowed himself to be hit, Parasitix had opened Rhuba's chest enough to accept the attack. His organs had moved, causing the stab to slide through with ease. Once connecting with the rock formation, slamming hard into it. Rhuba would not dodge the horizontal slash. In reality he allowed his 'head' to be cut off, allowing Nashi to cut off a large chunk of Parasitix's shadowy form that had layered over Rhuba's own while he retreated his head further down the main body.

The hooded head now rolled unto the ground and into the ice and snow. It quickly melted into a black goo, as it now slowly slid toward the mech and Rhuba. Rhuba's real head would now poke out of where the neck would have been. His spiked hair, and red bang completely dnifferent from the rest of his body which seemed to exude a shadowy smoke. He'd give the mech a inquisitive expression before asking, "Have you seen my head? I feel I may have lost it..." He began laughing at his own joke, only to stop abruptly. His body would then split open which allowed him to slide out of being stabbed and reabsorb the part of Parasitix he had lost with the cut as he moved away from the mech. It had destroyed some of Parasitix, but that could easily be replaced by letting Parasitix take more of his energy.

Raising his power once more, he'd now spin to face the mech again, his shadowy hooded figure now returned. Tendrils would release from Rhuba's feet under the snow within the same moment, using the snow as cover from visual indication it was traveling through it other than small disturbances in the layer of the snow. The tendrils themselves were wrapped in magic and ki, so were able to be sensed with ki-sensing techniques and technology. Rhuba wanted to see if this mech could sense energy, if he would avoid the tendrils he'd have his answer.

"Not having fun yet, but the robit does look kinda cool," he'd yell at the mech from his new position after gaining a few meters distance from it. Perhaps Parasitix couldn't consume the whole thing, but it might be able to suck it's energy. If he could get Parasitix to grab a leg it could start draining it. Parasitix immediately got excited by the idea, a snack that large wasn't something it'd get often. The tendrils that headed toward the mech began to silently jitter with anticipation.

"The way you talk reminds me of the Maestro." He'd imitate a Maestro for a few seconds then begin to chuckle to himself. "You sound so serious, just like him. Lighten up a little." Referencing the Maestro was just for his pleasure, assuming that this thing wouldn't be alive long enough to even question what he said. Rhuba would only watch as the gauntlets released their ammunition into him. Raising his power again, he'd feed some of it into Parasitix so he could take the hits and reform.

While he took the hits from the gauntlet's ammunition, he'd spread his arms out wide. "Call me Violin," he'd say with flair, answering at least one of the questions. His shadowy figure would disperse once his arms reached their furthest points of stretching. Where he once stood a shadowy figure, with no facial features aside from red dots for eyes he would now be in his normal Saiyan form, from the neck up. Below the neck was a similar texture to the clothes he had been wearing previously. Right before the first shot would hit him, a cape would sprout from his back. The cape itself made from the same texture as his body seemed to be, Parasitix covering his form in a smokey-like shadow that billowed out of his skin while the cape flapped behind him dramatically.

"Come, come! Let it rain destruction!" Rhuba's tendrils finally reached their target. Perhaps the mech couldn't sense ki Rhuba thought, imagining this would be easier than previously thought. Rhuba finally allowed Parasitix to control the tendrils freely, if Nashi had no defenses for this it would start sliding into any crevice within the machine, looking and sensing for any power source to start draining. "My friend says you will be tasty!" Rhuba taunted, believing he had won. Parasitix was infused with his ki, so he believed it to be infallible, albeit that not being entirely true.

"Tch," he could feel Parasitix scream as the tendrils tried to retract with the current that now spread through Rhuba's body, causing his muscles to seize and spasm. Parasitix became dormant, the shock of the blast would remove the black clothing, leaving Rhuba in his normal hooded attire. The tendrils that hadn't yet retracted were still vulnerable to the mech, unfortunately for Rhuba he was still attached to them. The ground was quickly removed from his feet, as he was slung far into a glacier. The ice collapsed in on itself, and began crushing Rhuba. Luckily the shock of the blast had ended, but leaving him feeling sore. Parasitix didn't respond to him, the only action he had to protect himself was enveloping himself in ki and letting the glaciers break apart as he floated in the middle of the glacier hovering with his ki.

A giant piece of the glacier behind him snapped and began slowly falling toward where he hovered. The glacier around him was still breaking apart, but Rhuba paid it no mind, he couldn't feel Parasitix and he began to assume Nashi might have killed it. The scream it made was like nothing he had heard before, it sounded like it was dying and that made Rhuba feel things he hadn't in a long time. Looking down at his fist, he clenched it tightly, trying to feel Parasitix like he used to. He hadn't had Parasitix long, but it was very useful, and now he couldn't feel it inside him anymore. "Parasitix..?" He'd call out to it, the glacier that was collapsing into him from behind inched closer, the sound of it creaking the only thing he'd hear. Just before the piece of the glacier struck him in the back of the head, Rhuba would kick off of it sending it flying deep into the distance as he used it to head back toward Nashi.

He'd make it back, sliding into the snow. His hoodie and pants slightly torn from the moments he was unable to protect himself. The damage from the electrical shock made his body feel sluggish, and he could tell he had burns on his body. None of that mattered now, Rhuba was angry. "You killed it!" As he shouted, a wave of snow would be ripped from the icy ground and flung away from him.

"There is no trap you could have caught ME in!" He'd scream at him, an aura began to shroud him, his power level rising as he began to tap into his wrathful state. Luckily for Nashi, that extra energy would awaken Parasitix as it wrapped it's tendrils around Rhuba once more. "You were asleep?" He'd respond to Parasitix out loud, as if he was answering a question no one else heard. The pure excitement of not having lost Parasitix had given him an idea. He was told recruiting others was a smart idea, and if they were strong it was an even better plus. Well, he assumed Maestro would kill anyone too weak anyway.

"You." He'd point at the mech, lifting off the icy ground he'd gingerly float in front of the mech. "Hit me with everything you've got." His voice lower, more serious this time. Rhuba would begin floating further away from the mech. "I want to see what you're truly capable of, so I can measure how far you are from becoming relevant. If you cannot even damage me, then I will have no use for you." He'd bow to him, as if saying, 'proceed.'

"Brilliant! BRILLIANT!" He'd chuckle to himself, the echo of his chuckle ringing out further than it should have. Nashi was receptive of what he said, and Rhuba's excitement began to peak, his tail swaying back and forth behind him as he floated above the icy ground. "Hell? I've heard it's not so bad~" He would chuckle again, higher pitched, the voice echoing all the way to Nashi despite their distance. Tendrils oozing dark clouds would sprout around him, covering every inch of his body. Rhuba didn't expect him to output that much energy, but he had a fun idea which would mean Parasitix would need to take help him protect his vital organs.

"Do it, show me~" His high pitched chuckle this time emanating out from him without him needing to move his lips. Parasitix using it's form to create the voice in multiple directions to cause an echoing effect. The chuckles produced by him and Parasitix were so playful, almost teasing. It was the same kind of giggle you'd hear from someone who knows something you don't.

"Mark 2, you say~" He'd coyly smile toward Nashi. "So you couldn't do it with the first one?" He'd position himself in the air as if he was relaxing in a beach chair. Miming a yawn at Nashi, if Nashi could use his fancy tech to see his expression, his excitement was palpable. Once the energy he could feel began to skyrocket, his expression would quickly perk up. "Oh? Such grandeur! Yes!" Rhuba would move from his mocking pose and now readied himself to take whatever attack he'd send.

Just as the mech would gather it's last bit of necessary energy and it'd fire, Rhuba's eyes widened, not at the strength, but at the dramatic flair Nashi added. "Yes! That's what I like to hear!" Rhuba would give him one last chuckle before Parasitix would make sure none of his internal organs would not get damaged. He'd then reach into his Wrathful state, a necessary embarrassment for him, but since Rhuba enjoyed the display Nashi gave him, he would also forgive him for hurting Parasitix now and earlier. Just as the blast hit the Saiyan, it would scorch him just as he planned, luckily he had moved his body enough to only take a portion of the beam. Scorching his now black skin, the area that took the biggest part of the hit would show the largest damage, a huge hole where the right part of his torso and arm were, his left arm now completely missing. A normal Saiyan or any living creature would have no chance of survival after losing that much of their body.

Rhuba roared in pain as the blast finally subsided would slowly descend into a large puddle of hot water that had formed beneath him. Just as he landed in the water, he'd take a few steps and collapse into it. The beam of energy had hurt, but what Nashi was seeing now was a show put on by the Saiyan. Before his face would hit the water, the same high pitched giggle he had done multiple times before could be heard throughout the landscape as if he was standing in every direction. Parasitix using it's power to throw it's voice.

"That was fun." He'd slowly start to get up from the warm water, the top layer already freezing over now. Tendrils shot out of his arm, recreating it over a few seconds, as it finished he tightened his fist and looked up toward Nashi. "You were saying you had done me a favor if you killed it?" He'd say, this time talking to Nashi without using Parasitix to extend his voice toward him. Rhuba would use Lightspeed, activating it to move closer to Nashi at the fastest speed he was capable in this state. Rhuba still enveloped in his wrathful aura, leaving no mystery to how strong he might be now.

"I think he would have a use for you." Rhuba said as he slowly floated to reach what he assumed was eye line for the mech. "If you wanna test yourself, come join the Orchestra." Rhuba would use Parasitix to create a Violin out of his form, attached to his arm. Stringing along, he began to play La Campanella by Paganini. As he'd talk, the sound of his violin would become softer. "We plan to dominate it all, so you're either for us or against us. Don't..." The part he was at began to pick up pace in the song which cause Rhuba to pause briefly to play it without interruption. "You want to be on the winning side?" Finally, he'd end it early, on a note of the violin he thought fit well, almost as if the question mark to end his question.
