Turning to look at Phakk, Saizomaru gave a small smile before waving the hand around, its fingers rigid due to its mechanical nature and top craftsmanship. He wasn’t a fan of loose joints when they were taken apart. It made cleaning them all the more difficult. ”Pretty cool, right?” He didn’t know whether he was saying that to her or to himself.

At least she thought it was cool, so that was a big plus for the android. Still, he waved off her apology with the now-reattached hand. ”Eh, s’no need for apologies,” he assured her with his own lack of care. ”Besides—seems to be more perks of being an android than there are being a human. No rest, no nourishment, super strength, inability to feel physical pain—means I have more hours in the day to do stuff. Well… all the hours in the day to do stuff.”

And yet the girl still offered the android words of encouragement, calming and comfort. She was doing a good job of it, too. With a hum through smiling lips, Saizomaru use a hand to brush the curtain of hair from the side of his face. ”Thanks,” he replied. Gently, with the crook of his finger, he gave Phakk’s cheek a nudge. ”You’re a good kid. Others should aspire to be like you.”

Good in personality, good in tastes. Saizomaru hoped that he’d get to play some videogames with her at some point. Perhaps, if she found it likeable, she would give World of Dragon Quest a shot. She seemed pretty interested. ”Oh, yeah, there’s a few tank specs in the game,” he replied, resting his head on his propped up hand on the back of the bench. ”You got your protection warriors, protection gladiators, guardian paladins, and diamond body monks. I heard they’re gonna bring in blackguards in the next expansion, so they’ll probably get a tank spec too.”

Before he could continue, he heard a car pull up down the street. Glancing over, he took a look at the taxi, eyes fixated on the number plate. Then, he sighed a little. ”Well, I guess that’s your ride.” Standing up from the bench, he grabbed the girl’s goods in his hands before making his way to the car. ”I’ll take your bags while you climb on in.”
