Parika was training in a spot said to be teeming with saiba-cfreatures, but still a good place to train nevertheless. He had to be careful not to overexert himself since he only had so much fresh water in his nearby space pod. The lake next to him was unsafe to swim in, let alone drink. These saibamen seemed to enjoy it though, these creatures were strange. Maybe he could keep one as a pet since he knew they could be grown from the soil. If they could grow here he was damn sure they could grow anywhere.
A set of weighted training gear was strapped along his arms and legs. Unlike when he was training in a less hostile environment, as if this planet didn't have plenty of those, he didn't up the heaviness of his weights very much from the amount he was used to. One wrong move here could spell death, and he'd already been fighting off saibamen all day, as evidenced by the ones littering the ground. He found a decent place to hold his ground though, so some were starting to pile up around him.
One lunged at him, swinging its arm back to prepare for what was obviously a swipe at him with its razor sharp claws. Parika takes a defensive stance and thrusts his hand forward, letting out a yell as he released a powerful kiai that sent the saibaman flying back. This one was rather weak, like many of them, compared to him. He wondered if a more experienced, stronger one would eventually come along. Hopefully he was drawing enough attention.
THREAD PL: 5,000 ITEMS: Training Weights, Space Pod
Korado and Sickle were back in the saiba pits not just to collect scraps but remembering what Vennel spoke of, perhaps to even get his hands on something the Saibaman might of taken. He could image them attacking both saiyan and tuffle alike and taking what they could from both parties. Not that they would understood how any of it worked but Korado sure as hell would. As he traveled however he found someone who was in one of the pits killing and training agiasnt the Saibaman. "Hmmm." Korado glanced, he didn't know who this person was. They seemed quite strong easily defeating a saibaman that headed right towards him. Korado was not sure if he should approach, while the saiyans he had run into so far had been quite passive that didn't mean this guy would be. However, he was heading this way anyway as long as this guy didn't attack him everything should be fine.
"Alright Sickle onto my back." Korado whispered to his pet slime. The slime attached to his back before they slid down the pit arriving in front of Parika. "Hello there. Seems we both were coming here to get something done. I was looking for scraps and it seems your fighting the Saibaman." He glanced at the saibaman Paprika sent flying back. "So perhaps we have common interest to head through this area and see what we could find." He was quite sure this guy would take up the offer. He'd have help to help fight the saibaman and Korad would be able to get any scraps the Saibaman had collected. In his eyes, this was a win win for both sides.
Parika was already paying attention to his surroundings, even the ones he couldn't see, using his ability to sense energy so he wouldn't be taken surprise by a saibaman trying to sneak up on him. If one tried it wouldn't be the first time today. He took note that two rather strong individuals were approaching. His eyes locked to their position, but he still held his defensive posture just in case. A saibaman took this chance to try and strike from his side, only to be met with an elbow smashing into its face, sending it flying back.
The person approached him. Taking note of their appearance and what appeared to be some sort of slime creature on their back, he attempted to feel out their energy a little bit more. He felt no ill will coming from them so he relaxed. They greeted him first, beating him to it. "Yeah, you're right. The saibamen I've been beating on are mostly small fry. Not enough to give me a good workout. Scraps though? You sure you're going to find anything in good condition around here? These things don't appear to be the brightest and this spot is pretty acidic." He jumped down from the flattened rock he stood atop. "I'll come with you, but I doubt you'll find anything interesting. What's your name?"
Korado glanced as Parika seemed to know they were coming and even had the time to smash a Saibaman in the head as it tried to attack him. The guy had good senses that was impressive. "Not bad you knocked the beast around pretty easy." He glanced at the Saibaman he just launched away. Did he kill it in one shot? He was not sure but it was not important right now. What was important was talking to this guy and making sure he didn't turn hostile. Lucky for him Parika seemed fine with heading together to go through the Saiba caves. He did note that he probably would not find much in the way of good scraps. That was true but he was still going to give it a go. At the very least he'd clear out some saibaman which would make the area safer for himself and others. At best, he'd find exactly what he would need from the scraps and be more then ready. He had to at least give it a shot. "Right lets go in then. Even if I find nothing I'm sure we will both still get a lot of out of this." Korado rubbed his head as Sickle peaked towards the cave. Korado went to walk into the Saiba cave and see what they would find.
It seemed the newcomer was impressed that he dispatched the saibaman so quickly. It was nothing to it really. Maybe it was just because he was stronger than your average warrior that he saw it as so easy. Or these ones that decided to attack him was small fry. Maybe both? Parika was a bit put off by the fact that the guy denied him his name, which was off to him. It was if he question completely bypassed him and was lost to the wind. "No name then, cool. I'll call you white eyes then." Now that he thought about it... this was the first time he'd seen anyone with white eyes. Quite the oddity indeed. He brushed all this off though, he wouldn't let that get in the way of a good adventure.
Upon suggesting they go into a nearby cave Parika gave it a quick thought, placing his hand on his chin and looking up at the sky, visibly showing he was contemplating it. He thought, if something happened in there he could always blow the top off the cave. He was strong enough to do something like that, able to draw out 100% of his power for destructive use if need be. "Alright then, I'll come with you 'white eyes'. Lead the way." He gestured his hand in the direction of the cave. Meanwhile, he used his space pods remote to command it to follow behind.
Korado glanced as Parika decided to call him white eyes since he decided to not give his name. That didn't matter to him he didn't mind the nickname. It was better then giving his real name and risk being found out. This guy didn't press for his name which would made it even better. Korado began to head into the cave. It was a vast cave system to be sure and he imaged at the bottom would be the Saibamen's lair. Korado glanced around as Sickle peaked his head to the roof of the cave. Eventually they run into Saibamen's but right now they were none at the front of the cave. He glanced behind to see Parika was following and he had a space pod behind him. "What you got following us?" He assumed it was a pod or something but he could not tell as well in the darkness. Korado then spoke. "Also why here? What made you decide to come here to kill Saibaman. I assumed you'd be at a front fighting Tuffles?" Korado could not see the use of clearing this area where he found Parika. Vennel had said it was food when she came around this area. Maybe the saiyans were starving? These were things he'd like to know. Though he was not sure how much information he'd actually get out of Parika.
