GENERAL INFORMATION
NAME: Torta
ALIASES: Tortie
AGE: 3 (9 Human Years)
GENDER: Male (He/They)
MINION TYPE: Buddy
SPECIES: Cakeosarus (Alien)
[EXTRATERRESTRIAL] - CORE
Twice per thread, you may add a sparking variant to a non-sparking technique. Techniques cannot have more than two variants at a time.
[COMMUNAL HERITAGE] - OPTIONAL
Once per thread, you may use a free 40% strength defense technique when you block for another player. This has the unique variant 'steadfast', which prevents bleed-through to the initial target if you are defeated by the attack and are within 60% of the attack's initial power level.
CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS
APPEARANCE: Torta is pretty small for a 'dinosaur' standing at about 1'5" and looking more like a cake and a Tyrannosaurus Rex then anything else. He has beady brown eyes that would remind anyone more of choc chips more then actual eyes, with stubby legs and arms that have gumdrop-like 'claws' at the end. His head is the shape and around about the same size as an actual cake slice, with a small tuft of 'hair' on top that resembles the look of whipped cream with a cherry on top, his tail tip also bearing something similar. Two slightly spiked gum drop buttons also run along his back, while his body sports matching colours and patterns to that of his cakey head.
BACKGROUND:
Though both grateful for the fact that Torta's little egg ended up on Patrona's family farm, both still wonder on the mystery that is to how it got there in the first place! Torta was born from quite the decorative egg, one that stuck out like a sore thumb in amongst all the Earthling chicken eggs given its rich chocolate colouring and spotty patterning, one could easily of mistaken it for an Easter egg or some sort of Fabergé egg. Thankfully Patrona and her family were quick to work out it was neither of those things though and were quick to look after it properly up until he hatched.
When he did hatch Torta was quick the energetic bundle of joy, and from the moment he could stand on his own two little legs and walk he was already finding enjoyment in chasing the farm chickens-- Though just as soon as he was walking he was also figuring out he could bite too and his little jaws were stronger then they looked and only got stronger from then on out, and Torta was one who loved to eat!
While he could not eat the chickens much to his disgruntlement, he could eat what Patrona made him, taking very well to more humanoid foods. This worked well for his majin owner who was taking a liking to baking and cooking all sorts of new things, Torta becoming her number 1 taste tester! Though she would of course not let them go without good full meals too.
While they don't wonder too on it much Torta does have the feeling he wasn't the only egg to end up where it wasn't supposed to be though it's more of a hunch and a gut feeling then something backed up by any actual evidence. Though he does still keep an eye out just in case alongside training with Patrona! Torta while still rather young is adamant on keeping her safe and finds fun in learning new skills-- Especially when the learning is rewarded with food! One particular training session eventually resulted in the young dino learning how to communicate with his mind too and thus far has been the only way he's been able to "speak" to people he meets.
Currently Torta has moved out alongside Patrona, keeping by her side and helping both to keep her safe and to continue pursuing her dream of opening her own cafe by continuing to be her personal taste tester. Though he can't help but feel like combat wise he'd be better off with more friends like himself to help keep the majin safe...

A not-so gingerly snap attack from Torta's little jaws! While rather tiny they're still mighty and can deliver a rather painful bite to their opponent should the bite land.

Defence || Medium || Biscuit Barrier
Forming a barrier with the appearance of a cookie or biscuit Torta can opt to divide this defence's power evenly among two separate targets, which can include himself. He will take bleed-through damage if this barrier is broken. When broken this barrier crumbles away just like a real biscuit but it cannot actually be eaten.

Defence || Light || Dango Dumpling Defence
Torta is able to muster up a barrier that appears as three dango, one green, one pink and one white that stack up together to defend an ally of his. This barrier's power is calculated using Torta's PL as per usual but his ally must deal with the bleed-through damage instead of him. The ally may still use their own Defensive technique and only one Distanced barrier can be used upon a character at once.

Magic Materialization Torta has magical abilities and can conjure objects or structures. Torta will usually use this to form things for desserts or to help get to higher places. Larger or more complicated things take more energy and focus to create. This technique is passive and does not require KP
Planetary Telepathy Allows the use of telepathic communication between nearby or familiar characters on the same planet as Torta, letting them and their friends always converse internally! As Torta does not speak this is his main way of communicating with other characters. This technique is passive and does not require KP

x4 | Start | Treat Rex: When activated Torta becomes the actual size of a Tyrannosaurs Rex, pushing roughly 15 feet tall in height and 30-40 feet in length. Keeping his overall desserty appearance although his features become sharper and his once more squishy-self becomes more hardened. Other features like his gum-drop back spikes becoming more like rock candy spikes and hard chocolate horns, similar looking to that of a Carnotaurus.
