Machina Maiden #5: Codenamed "Vespa."

BACKGROUND: This unit is designated as Machina Maiden #5, codenamed “Vespa.” I am the fifth mechanical fighter created by the genius inventor, Yangcong. He is the man who I call “father.” I am the only one of these mechanical fighters to be considered a success thus far. I have been given the primary directive to completely and utterly destroy the Saiyan race. To that end, I have been outfitted with the latest in battle tech, and been given the form of an Earthling girl to assist in infiltration. I have been created for this one and only purpose, and as a machine, I must perform the function that I have been built for. I have been sent to Earth by my father for the purpose of learning from the creatures who I am modeled after.

These “Earthlings” have a specific way of behaving that I am simply not practiced in. Though I can make myself look human with clothes and makeup, any who interact with me will know that I am not one of them. Living among humans, though, I am quite interested in their lives. How they find entertainment, how they interact with one another, and most of all, how they live without sometimes knowing why. I cannot help but find myself jealous. To live without knowing one’s purpose; it must give them a sense of freedom that I was not made for. There is no room in my mission for such frivolities, however. I know my purpose. Once the Saiyans have been destroyed and my purpose is achieved, maybe then I shall have an opportunity.

Perhaps then, I will be able to know what it’s like to live like they do. Although… the thought of accomplishing my mission fills me with a strange feeling. A tightness in my chest. Is this fear? Anxiety? Perhaps both? Will my father have any further use for me once I complete my mission? Asking these questions is a waste of time. If I wish to know, there is only one way to find out.

Vespa overcharges her energy core, unleashing its power in an intense blast. If she so desires, she can use her Self-Sacrifice trait to overcharge the core to a critical point, triggering a devastating explosion that destroys Vespa in the process.

Igniting her rockets, Vespa briefly gains a burst of speed that she uses to dodge an incoming attack.

Medium Sparking Technique || Pandora Bombardment
Vespa’s back opens to produce a multi-barreled rocket launcher, which she uses to launch a huge barrage of missiles that rain down on the battlefield. Some of these missiles can be directly controlled by her, allowing them to spare some of her allies from the damage.
