Aoi dead

Joker's eyes would widen as he stares at the arcosian Mint who kicked him straight in the stomach and sending a powerful beam at his entire body. Joker's life flashing before his very eyes. The beam being powerful enough to wound his entire torso. Now landing far away into a nearby building, crashing into it and knocking out instantly as he mutters to himself. "You.... arcosians..." Ryugan's eyes staring at Joker with an angry look on his face as he shouts at Joker!

"JOKER!?!?!"

But then a dark storm would approach, not physically but..... As Ryugan turned to look, Derry had struck Aoi's body. Aoi could feel the energy from Derry and upon getting hit in his chest, he was flung into a metal pole that would be sticking out from one of the ruin buildings and completely piercing a vital organ and Aoi slumping over as his body now sits on the floor with his back against the building. As he looks dazed, Ryugan quickly rushes over to Aoi with tears running down his face.....

Aoi Flashback

A very young Aoi who was a sergeant at the time for the Arcosian Empire. He steps into Orenji's private quarters.

"We are almost arriving on planet Yums Captain Orenji."

Orenji sitting at his desk looking over some paperwork. He would casually look at Aoi and then going back to his paperwork duties.

"Good. You are dismissed."

Deep in Aoi's heart, he waited so long to ask a question he had been holding deep inside him.

"Sir may I speak freely?"

Orenji looking back at him with a slight squint in his left eye since his right eye had an eyepatch over it. He would put down his pen and fold his hands together.

"What is Sergeant Aoi?"

"What we did on Planet Beka. Those natives we slaughtered.... all they ask for was for freedom in exchange for us stealing there land. Yet we ignored their pleas and gave them their deaths."

"Giving the enemy the chance to escape and call for help or coming back for revenge is a poor choice to make. Are you aware of who Yangcong is?"

"Yes sir, he is that crazy old man that defected the saiyan kingdom and caused that incident on their capital."

"People like him believe in a different system. Freedom fighters that don't believe in a stable government like the Arcosian Empire, like the Saiyan Kingdom, like the tuffle army. If we let people like that do as they please, sure they can be given that freedom. But they can also end up like him. There has been reports that Yangcong and his syndicate group have been causing us some trouble. Which is why I was tasked with ensuring that the planets we have agreements with aren't attacked by his group or others. The price for freedom is order. We keep the order and the citizens get the freedom they so desire so long as they are allied with us."

Days pass and a grunt soldier walks into Orenji's office.

"Sir, Aoi isn't in his quarters."

"Computer scan the entire ship for Aoi Storms"

The ship scanning and replying back.

"Aoi Storms isn't on the ship."

"Computer how many escape pods are available?"

"24 out of 25."

"It appears he has gone awol."

Ryugan holding onto Aoi's body as he bleeds out.

"HEY! WAKE UP! You cant leave us!"

Aoi chuckling as he looks at Ryugan.

"Freedom is what we wanted huh Ryugan...."

Yea.... goodbye my friend...."

Aoi's eyes fade and Ryugan closing his eyes. Ryugan clenching his fist and staring at Derry. Rushing over to him and attempting to right hook him in the face!

"I'M GOING TO END YOU!"

She was not only expecting her hits to land a bit firmer, but for the dragon-like creature to bat her away. Even shift around or SOMETHING to defend themselves. But Maxsuz seemed to be at a loss for some of his allies. Striker keeps back and makes some distance in her hover, watching with beady red eyes the subtle thoughts lining the drakon's face. Whatever expressions in could make in these thoughts, anyways. Eventually, it came to head that he'd drop the boisterous taunting and reached out with another mind blast.

He was quitting...? Just like that? The light in Striker's eyes fades some as the news deflates her bravado. She remains in the air, giving Nasu a look behind her as he had previously went at the other fat one and was now in some effective two versus two before this. Striker wasn't the one to really care about giving people chances or trying to instill a lesson onto anyone. She was there for a job, and to do it well. Well, their orders were to make sure Arcose stood. Something about killing attackers came across here or there, but Striker had to begrudgingly look around at all the goody two shoes who would probably try stomping her for keeping any of them.

So, continuing to front was the way to go. She puff out her chest as the smirk reemerges. He was almost already taking to the skies by the time anyone else was around to react before Striker.

"Is that right?! Run then, you pansy! You and all you scarredy cats! That'll teach ya to mess with Striker!"
She threw her voice back out after Maxsuz tried running, keeping herself ready to intervene at the drop of the hat should he just turn around and blindside anyone. That gaze fell onto Marimba, next in line to hear him, then Salvo, who, among others, had picked a fight with one of the several defenders here. She was likely to get herself killed if she wasn't tempered...

Guess she might make time to ask what the president of Earth was doing sooner than later.

Striker patiently waits and sees who needs to be dealt with after Maxsuz leaves. Eyeing that Salvo split...

"Fool. I already severed myself from Namek, sacrificed my rule over the wider masses for their protection, and returned power to the hands of the elders. The legion of warriors who were here earlier are the ones who continue to fight for me, continue to call me Daimao."

"On this day, I have sworn to bring a swift end to the empire or burn trying. Without that, there is no return home, for Ticoga will not rest until the Hoken and all who serve under them are slaughtered, til Gandigan's legacy is destroyed and forgotten. "I have tried to walk the path of peace, negotiate for an end to this senseless war. But despite all reason, the emperor refused to budge on his demands to execute my Hoken. Seeing us as insects that could be eliminated by force without consequence."

"But he will find only devastation for his folly. For his commitment to destroy my rule and kill my men. He will face a nightmare far worse than anything even Maxsuz could ever dream of. You all know nothing of him. He is no madman who would disobey me and throw his life away in some suicidal attack against him. This was all preventable. But now, it has reached the point of no return."

Nasu viewed the color of Marimba's soul, which was crimson red with numerous black splotches. Its emotional energy appeared pained, wounded, grudged, tired, and angry as if it had not known peace for a long time. Coursing around it was the pitch-dark negative energy he had borrowed from his legion, still affecting him, worsening his condition, but not as much as it was before, having its excess transferred to Maxsuz.

"I do not care much for slaying anyone here. Do not mistake my intentions. I came here to defend a planet from being blown up. I barely know you guys, neither have you hurt anything or anyone close to me."

Marimba did not verbally respond, but the look he gave told Nasu, plain and simple, that he was not trusted. He had heard similar words before. When tested, they were nothing but lies. However, he does allow Nasu to continue probing his soul in their attempt to find a common cause.

There was a clear desire to protect Namek and its Namekians, to see it strong and unassailable, and to see its people united and prospering, especially the Mazoku clan in particular.

"Victory, defeat, life and death... all are meaningless. Every single one of us shall face King Yemma sooner or later, under his all knowing judgment. But that is not the end."

"It has meaning to my people, and it has meaning to me—much meaning. The legacy we leave behind can change the course for mortals to come. The Ogre's judgment, Heaven, Hell, none matters to me. If I cannot be of use to my people and lack the power to impact this world, then it is irrelevant whether my bygone soul knows eternal peace or eternal suffering."

Nasu charged forward with a splitting swipe. Unable to sense any killing intent, Marimba's reactions were slower, but he still raised his arms and hardened his body in time against it. But the swipe never touched his body. Instead, he felt a thunderous crack through his spirit. It carved off from him all the hatred, negative energy, and violent foreign conviction he had borrowed from his army. No longer could he feel the voices and emotions of countless spurring him on to continue.

"DAAAMNITTT!" He shouted, believing his enemy had just gained a further advantage.

In his desperation, Marimba swings with a swipe of his own, batting Nasu away from him with a burst of strength. Then, Marimba heard Maxsuz giving his telepathic capitulation to Nasu's demands.

"Abort the mission and retreat. This is a unwinnable fight, not worth dying for. Requesting all our forces to go back to Saxon's space station and leave Arcose immediately. Over and out..."

"We won't return to Arcose, nor to Namek. The stars will be our new home, where none can find and invade us again. This is a farewell, and may we never meet again..."

Hearing this, Marimba reached out to his allies with his telepathy.

"Go now. I will cover your escapes. None of you need to die here."

"Salvo, listen to my words. I know your soul burns to defeat that Saiyan, but the others will soon rob you of that opportunity by force if you don't retreat. Another chance will come if you live to see it."

"Marimba. I know you worked with Fukushu that day in Hatchi, but despite that, Nero always took your side and claimed that you had become a better person, that there was good in you. So, give me some clarity. What do YOU want?"

"I do not care about what Gandigan's plans were. I spoke to Gandigan, in the Otherworld, and he told me his only goal was to protect your lot from Lottus. Whether or not he had other plans that I do not know, but he is now gone. So, it is time you think for yourself, no one else considered, what do YOU want to do with YOUR life?"

"If you do not care what Gandigan wants, then neither will you care what I want."

"I want to fulfill my duties. Be it as a warrior or a lord."

"I want the Mazoku to live and prosper—all of them.

"I will not betray or sacrifice any to appease some dictator who demands total control over Namekian matters. Even if I may fall here, I will not see the same fate for my comrades."

"I want to avenge the fallen. Avenge Gandigan."

"I want to be their champion. To savor hard-earned victory. To enjoy both honor and glory among my companions."

"It's a shame. It seems I'll never have... what I what I want."

Mint grinned as he got done with Joker's dirty work. He grinned even more as Derry disposed of Aoi in a flash. Two of the mercs were down and only two of them were left. They were strong from a team perspective, but they used all their energy right at the start. "What a bunch of amateurs." Mint grinned, "If you are not gonna kill someone you should save your strength. Now you're down two men and soon gonna be down another two." Mint raised his arms as energy coiled around his body. He was getting ready to blast another two of the members down. However, he held back slightly as Ryugan held the dying Aoi in his arms. Maybe he felt pity or annoyance, but he didn't strike him down right away. It was a mistake on his part as the mercenary didn't run away and charged Derry.

Mint let out a long sigh, deciding it best to let Derry finish off the enraged mercenary. They were no longer the same threat he expected them to be. Their strength had been cut in half; now, he had to deal with the others. Plus, it seems the morale of the attackers was falling apart thanks to the words of the Super Saiyan Nasu. They must have realized how foolish this battle was; if they wanted to save their so-called mazoku, they should never have challenged the Arcosian Empire. The mercenary Maxsuz was the first big warrior to retreat after seeing it would not be an easy victory. No surprise, from what he knew, Maxsuz was a mercenary; he may have believed in the cause but not enough to give away his life

However, the last time Mint checked, he had told them his offer earlier; it was not until the battle tides had shifted that they had gone on the retreat. Mint's aura shot through the roof as he seemed ready to blast the retreating Maxsuz into dust if given a chance. Mint's aura kept rising as he seemed ready to speak, but his eyes glanced at Nasu, who seemed to be playing peacemaker. With the power he had, it was a shock he was willing to let them run off. If had Nasu's power, he would have wiped these fools out in an instant. Seemed Mint had a lot to learn before he could call him a great number two. He almost let his emotions get in the way. If he attacked, he risked a lot for Arcose. Nasu was a lot stronger, and he didn't wanna create tension between the empire and the defender who might have saved the planet from utter ruin. Sadly, he had to play fiddle to these fools.

"You may come to regret allowing those whose hearts were changed at the sight of death to flee. If they were stronger than us, they would not have changed their tune. Those are the type of people you can never trust." Mint snapped at Nasu before lowering his hand to allow Maxsuz to keep running away. "As for you, Namekian." He glanced at Marimba, "You should of taken his offer while you had the chance. I'm not sticking out a hand of mercy twice. You enraged my Emperor, i know he is not the man to invade without reason. If he has ransacked your home, then only the leader is to blame. You lived a failure and you can die as one!" Mint blasted forward to kick Marmiba right in the face then blast him with an energy wave at point blank range!

He looked over Maxsuz, shortly after, he chose to take the man's offer and with that he simply let him go. He did not know wherever he would go, but that would have been up to him in the end. He also looked over Striker, the moment she looked at him, exchanging gazes at least shortly before he looked away back towards Marimba.

He did not really know what Namek's politics were, as much time he spent there, he was more of an off-worlder ashore simply bathing in its currents. Neither did he have any particular allegiances besides his friends there.

"Ticoga?"

He repeated the name shortly. It felt familiar, was that the Emperor? Did he not meet the guy in a warehouse that one time? Wow. Talk about coincidences. Well, it definitely was not Azoth. But again the state of affairs was something that Nasu hardly cared about. His concern was the bloodshed and waste of life, other than that, he did not care too much.

"So that guy is the Emperor?"

He looked over eventually Marimba once more. He did not exactly figure out what the beef was between these Namekians and the Empire, but he doubted any of it was worth anything like this.

"I would rather hear both sides of the story."

He said but in a way, he knew what Marimba meant. When he was a knight some twenty, to thirty years ago, it was just the same. Sure, back then there was a war against the dragons, monsters that you could not beat with regular soldiers. But as a child soldier, like many other of his companions, it was about the glory, the victory, but things were not always that nice and simple.

"I get it. Where I hail from, I was one of the few soldiers. Thirty years ago or something. Knights, rather we were called. We beat the evil guys, and won glory. Then everyone was slaughtered. Back stabbed by the very rulers we served. In the end, no one is left to bask in that glory. And for me, it is more like a thud of crap than anything at this point, only the weight and consequences remain. I am not saying it will be the same for you. But take that as you will, from someone with a few extra years on his shoulders."

Eventually Mint discussed Nasu's methods, to which he promptly replied.

"Yeah. But they will fail again if they persevere in their ways. Besides, powerful warriors such as ourselves have been shown to escape from death time and time again. At this point, killing them is just staining your hands with blood. It has no meaning."

He furrowed his brow when Mint charged Marimba, with that prompt a ghastly hand emerged from Nasu and would stand between him and Marimba when he attempted to blast him with an energy wave.

"Please. This day is already dirty as it is, let's not stain it with blood. I am sure you have more important duties than beating down someone who's already given up... besides, killing him will only get more like minded individuals to hate on your Empire. Is that what you, or your Emperor wants? Making enemies for no reason? Let's spare ourselves the trouble and work on fixing this mess."

With Aoi slain, Derry stands from his handiwork, looking down at the partially burnt corpse of the mercenary, right before his eyes snap to the rest of the members. With Mint having taken care of another, only two of them remained, but if the former president were to be honest with himself, they hardly seemed like they're worth the trouble of killing. Besides, from what he's been hearing in the background, it seems like some of the fighters like Maxsuz and that large namekian fellow seem to be backing away from this whole conflict, all while Nasu continues to act as a peacekeeper.

Striker seems to be quite disappointed in the outcome as the attackers are backing down, and had the mercenaries not attacked him, Derry would likely consider this to be a bummer as well. He was gonna watch a wonderful show, but that was all ruined, and he had to get his hands dirty. At the very least, it could stand as a message to not mess with the former president. He clenches his fist before turning back towards the rest of the mercenaries, his skull somehow smirking a bit as he taunts, "Ooh, it'll take far more firepower than that to take this inferno down, let me tell you two boys..."

Ryugan, however, didn't take things so kindly, seeing his fellow man slain in front of his very eyes. Perhaps he knew the guy for years. Maybe just a few weeks. Honestly, Derry didn't really care, as he barked up the wrong tree and paid the price. At least he won't be able to make that same mistake anymore... At least, concerning the dead mercenary. Ryugan was a bit more stubborn, charging right at Derry and attempting to sock him in the face. The former president lets him sock him right in his jaw, his head tilting from the punch before grabbing onto his wrist, tightly clamping down on it with all of his remaining might.

"Ah ah ah... Remember what happened to your friend..." He then raises his other hand, clenching it into a fist before bringing it down onto Ryugan from above, seeking to knock him down onto the ground before kicking him away. Derry spits out a tiny little fireball from his mouth towards the two, fizzling away before it could hit their bodies as he slowly rises back up into the air. "Now, as entertaining as this was, it seems like everything's being wrapped up here. Nasu, Striker, I'm sure you two and the rest of your buddies can handle cleaning up this whole mess. Maxsuz, do consider having a tighter leash on those that stand beside you. Trust me, I know that it does wonders. Pleasure doing business with you lot, buuuuut I think I've got some better things to do. Take care."

With that, Derry nonchalantly turns his back on the invaders and defenders before rocketing away from the lot, fire spewing from the bottom of his shoes as he flies off. Whether anyone would follow him or attempt to interrupt him, it didn't matter to Derry. After all, he could always add one more kill to his count if they so much as tried...

Striker watches the massive drakon part ways, batting off into the sky and back to whatever safe place he found outside the capital. Striker held that wide grin, beating her chest once with a fist before turning her attention to the others. For now... Others were either turning to make their own farewells or get sidetracked in nonsense about death and leaving behind stragglers. Derry was kind enough to step out only AFTER it appeared the rest of them would have it handled. The small golden tencred would lower herself for a moment, flashing the big guy a thumbs up.

"It was fancy meeting you again, Prez! We should talk later!"
She spoke aloud, quickly darting back up and away from him just as Mint had tied Nasu and Marimba up in another tango. The saiyan never seemed to need Striker in the first place to deal with anyone here. The girl sweeps low and glides in place nearby the trio, hovering with her arms crossed as she acknowledges them. Her attention was most forward on the Saiyan.

"Knock 'em out, big guy. Or don't. You can leave that to me if ya want. I gotta check on someone first-"
She warned before starting to glide slowly off into the other direction. Following where Russ and Salvo had wandered. "If it isn't sorted by the time I get back, I'll sort it myself. Striker guarantee!" Floating off like a glowing pixie... It wouldn't be too hard to stop her, but she no doubt wouldn't be pleased with that.

Striker will casually wander over into Battle of the Blue Bastards split.

With the outside influence on his mind cleaved off from his being, Marimba could feel the despair of the inevitable creeping back through his soul. But he could not allow that despair to consume him, not yet, not while his comrades were still in danger. "Such little merit there is to the opinions of a failed cur of a ruler like yourself. In mere months, I built the strongest force in the known universe to oppose your aggression! Had it not been for the treachery of Guru, your malignant empire would have burned to ash at my hand! So count yourself lucky, Fool!"

Mint charged at Marimba, aiming an energy wave at his head, but Nasu took control of the situation, inserting himself between them and staring down Mint.

"Please. This day is already dirty as it is, let's not stain it with blood. I am sure you have more important duties than beating down someone who's already given up... besides, killing him will only get more like minded individuals to hate on your Empire. Is that what you, or your Emperor wants? Making enemies for no reason? Let's spare ourselves the trouble and work on fixing this mess."

With Nasu's back turned, there was a temptation for Marimba to bore his claw through the super saiyan's back and tear out his heart. Why should the Namekian play fair!? Nothing about this battle was fair, and he was about to lose everything for it! But the idea was ultimately discarded. Not only was it dishonorable, but at this rate, it would only put the people he sought to protect in even more danger. Right now, he needed to go and see what was holding up Cello.

Marimba flew off at high speeds, approaching the Onyx Mazoku and reaching out telepathically again.

"What are you still doing here!? YOU NEED TO GET OUT NOW!"

"I won't go until all of you are safe! I need to be here to cover you! If I fall, I'm counting on you to keep our followers going and facilitate my revival! Ticoga will not stop until each and every Hoken is dead! If we are to survive and reclaim our sovereignty, we must regroup! NOW GOOOO!"

Everything was just spiraling out of control and running hundreds of miles in Ryugan's head! As leader of his crew he had just loss a member, Aoi. With flowing tears running through his face, anger was still on his face. Finally, his fist had connected to Derry's face and Ryugan had let out a grin before it fainted to a slight panic and now angered look as his own fist was being controlled. The strike against him had brought his body now to the ground as his body had bounce. Coughing up spit in the process and before he could realize what was happening, he received a kick to the jaw which sent him flying to a nearby building.

Razer watched the events unfold with tears of his own and it seemed like the final attack made on Derry for both of them didn't even reach him. Razer was planning to stop him but..... The power difference between them, made him look like an ant standing in front of a human. The level between them was just out of this world. As Derry retreated, Razer was quick to rush over to Ryugan's side and trying to wake him up.

"Ryugan, wake up!"

Ryugan woke up and stared at Razer with a serious stare and tone as he got up to his feet. Ripping off his uniform and revealing his injured body and muscular structure.

"Razer, take Joker and get out of here. You two can still survive."

"He was our brother. If we have any chance at winning, we have to fight together!"

"Alright... that Arcosian right there. You remember how we beat one of those together in prison right?"

"I will start the assault and you go from the back."

Ryugan nodded.

"Lets do this. With the arcosian being distracted by that Namekian fellow, we should have the advantage..."

Razer would form a giant size demonic shuriken in both his hands as he began to spin it and quickly rushed over to Mint, he would take the lead and hurl it straight over to him! Meanwhile Ryugan would appear from the back and fired a beam out of his mouth in order to strike his back!

Marmbia's words were hollow. "If your empire was so mighty, why did they run when offered open combat with Ticoga's forces? Let's be honest here: if you could have beat him head to head, you would not have run towards Arcose to commit your hand to some war crimes. Don't worry; I don't blame you, it is a cunning tactic. But, it does not say much about your strength." He went on and on about Ticoga's aggression. No shit, he was the emperor of an empire born on aggression. Of course, Ticoga was not just some warmonger. He remembered the message he had been sent. There seemed to be some underhanded plays going on between Namek and some other force. Maybe the Mazoku were not all to blame, but he would worry about that after Ticoga returned to the throne.

Mint's scouter beeped as something moved in his path towards Marmbia. Mint's hand stopped glowing with ki as it became clear it was Nasu who had decided to stop his attack. He proclaimed that he would only dirty his hands even more, combined with his aversion to killing; Nasu seemed to be one of those peace lovers. He couldn't blame him; in Mint's own mind, peace was better than War. His words also made sense; Nasu had already declared the end to this battle. Even if Mint could overpower Marmbia and Nasu (Doubtful at best), he would only make enemies for Ticoga. "You earned a stay on my hand. That oaf is right about one thing: Arcose would have been destroyed if you and those other brave warriors hadn't come to defend this planet. But, I doubt you will always be there. If these fools go on to destroy something else, don't come crawling to me that I was right."

It was intresting that Nasu said the dead could return. He had never thought that possible. Mint would much like to ask him about that. However, something stabbed into his chest as he was about to ask. With his scouter focused on Nasu, he didn't see it coming. Blood dripped from Mint's mouth. Inches from his damaged Bio Gem. Mint's face came flushed with anger. "This is why you gotta kill the ingrate. You give them so many chances. And they still insist on killing themselves." Mint used the time to speak to Nasu before spinning to meet the ki blast right to the face, blowing away his scouter. A bellow of smoke covered Mint's frame from the attack before a hand reached out to grab Ryugan by the face and hold him in place.

The Injured Arcosian staggered as he tried to hold on to Ryugan. The two attacks alone had not done massive damage. However, any damage near his Bio Gem was going to cause him trouble. A sign of his weakness even despite his attempts to fix the wound. A sneak attack like Razer had opened the wound up causing Mint a great deal of discomfort. Any closer and he might of been in big trouble. "Now i am gonna assume you want me to let this one live too? Or the one who just thrust a shuriken into my back. I suppose it is War in that regard." Mint's face scowled at Nasu.

"You are down two men, soldier," Mint spoke to Ryugan about whether he was in his grasp or not. "You may hate the empire, but I can use it for those willing to follow. What are you following right now? Hoping to avenge your friends death. It is on your hand, and those you worked for are running with their tails tucked between their legs. I think you would find common ground with my Emperor and could be useful. If what Saiyan said was true, it is possible he can be returned as well. But if you attack again, I don't care if he gets in my way or not; I'll kill both of you idiots! My patience has already been runned into the ground. Now your just deciding if you wanna dig yourself out of a shallow grave or you get your ashes flung into a nearby star. Pick a choice and stop wasting my fucking time fool."

Too much had happened in the short span of time. This had been a foolhardy plan to begin with - but he had come along, a Mazoku to the end, the oldest representative of their people. Yet this had the stench of something that would - and very well could - spell the end for the tribe itself. That was why he had come. To protect the entirity of their legacy, for the Mazoku as a whole, not just for those present. Tis why of all things, he'd decided to follow Gandigan, and now, Marimba, on this journey. To remain would be foolish, and to try and speak this down any further than he had could very well lead to his own elimination from the realm of the living. A dark magic, yes, but these were what his people were known for. Softly he'd speak.

"Marimba, we leave as we can -- I will escape, so you need not take much damage; Though I speak on this: The Mazoku, as a people, are not bred to sit idly. Even now, regardless of our own actions, they would rise up and see Namek protected over all things. Avenged, over all things. Our Guru is wise, for his years, and he is willing to do anything to protect her, but that must not just be a physical protection -- but also a spiritual one. Too much change, and we lose our way, and then what will be left of the Namekian people..."

Integration was fine, in waves, but to join an empire would be wrong.. Mother Namek couldnt support that, and wouldnt in the old ages, so to must it remain. He'd rise up from the ground, eager and able; Yet sparing a look to Guru and his entourage, a nod given to them all. He was a respectful being, even if he was one of darkness and shadow. There was never going to be a reason to hate those whom worked to actively protect Namek from destruction or incursion, even if their ways about it weren't his.

"...The shoe on the other foot, the response is surprising but not unwarranted. In the end -- there are Mazoku whom need my guidance, and I must ensure they maintain a path that would not throw us all into darkness. I hope you all understand, as this will be a changing point...I wish you well, in your journies to come, and pray hope we do not encounter as enemies against...I'd rather hope, as Namekians, we understand and want to aide one another -- as the brotherhood has always been, so too must it remain."

The large Namekians dark magics would propel him off towards the ship; Leaving this area and maintaining the agreement of disengage.

Nasu would not of course in any way stop Striker in any way or form. He did not exactly know her but in the end they were at least temporary allies, given their common goal to protect the world, although probably for different reasons. He looked over the creature again and nodded his head slightly.

With Marimba, well, he could definitely see a great deal of understanding when it came to the concept of trust. It was something that the man struggled with for so long, ever since that time, and it had been only since after he met one individual in particular that he had learned to trust once more. Although, things would never be the same.

"I wish the best, for you to do so indeed."

If Marimba could avoid the mistakes of either one's past, well, he would have been content for him, for as little as they knew one another. But he was sure Nero cared for him in some capacity, too. He did not truly require to do much more, apparently. The situation here was nearly resolved.

There were a few mercenaries that were still causing a ruckus, they picked Mint as target but the Super Saiyan highly doubted the Arcosian required assistance with that.

"No... if they insist, you should do what you must."

He answered the Arcosian when eventually questioned. Neither did Marimba seem to care about them at least from what he could gather, so he did not even know what connection they had to Namek. What he knew was that, many warnings had already been given and Nasu had been preaching peace about three times now. If those guys would not get the message, then to him that meant they had a death wish and that was on them.

So, no, if they would not stop, not even Nasu would get in the way of Mint's rage this time.

He was pretty sure all here were adults at least mentally, there was no need to once more repeat the same things over and over. Otherwise he just remained vigilant to see whether Marimba would leave peacefully, and that he would be allowed to do so, meanwhile his mind reached out towards Nero.

"Hey Nero. The situation here should be wrapping up soon. How are things on your end?"

Ryugan looked at Mint straight in his eyes as he grabbed Ryugan by his throat with a tight grip. If it wasn't for how weak Ryugan was, he would have ended this Arcosian's life in a matter of seconds. Work with the Emperor? HAS THIS GUY BEEN LIVING UNDER A ROCK!?! Ryugan and his crew are wanted by the Arcosian Empire and Ryugan would begin to shout towards this arcosian.

"MY CREW AND I ARE WANTED BY THE ARCOSAIN EMPIRE DEAD! THERE AIN'T NO WORKING IT OUT! ONCE I KILL YOU AND EVERYONE ELSE HERE! YOUR STUPID EMPEROR IS GONNA COME BACK HERE WONDERING WHO DID ALL THIS AND HE IS GONNA STARE AT ME! RYUGAN! I'M GOING TO END THIS HERE AND NOW! RAZER! PLAN 99!"

Razer knew what that meant, self sacrifice no matter what. They were willing to sacrifice themselves for freedom! Razer forming two more giant shurikens and attempting to strike Mint in his back while Ryugan quickly opened his mouth and fired it straight at Mint's forehead! He wasn't going to survive another attack! Both their attacks combine should end the job here and now! They were going to take care of this arcosian and then the others!

Mint's eyes flexed slightly. "Alright, at least we can agree on that." Nasu was at least putting a line in the sand on what foolishness would be accepted. Nasu had given multiple warnings, and these mercenaries still persisted. They had courage. Mint had to give them that. However, courage not backed by power was just stupidity. "You think I can't work it out. I am a man willing to give second chances. Third chances even, after all, I made my mistakes too. As Emperor I, I almost made this great empire crumble. Mint's face was seared as Ryugan blasted him point-blank. It hurt a bit, but it did not pack the same punch as the last one. 'They both gotta be spent.' Mint saw that Razer was missing, but he knew better than to fall for the same trick twice. The whirling of the blades filled his ears as he spun his body, putting Ryugan in the way as a human shield. Then he swings Ryugan's body around in order to slam in face-first into the ground. Spinning his body afterward, Mint would attempt to throw him across the battlefield and then chase after him with supreme speed. "Let me give you some advice if you're aiming to kill me. You should of tried harder on the first strike!" Indeed, the only chance they ever had was jumping him like they did Derry in a one on 4 battle. He had respect for their skill; they were no weaklings. However, they let emotions guide them rather than logic. They would pay with their lives.

If Ryugan was flung, Mint foot would come shooting forward to hit him dead in the chest and send him flying through the side of one of the massive skyscraper in Arcose Red ki surged on his foot as he brought down once more to finsh off the combo and smash him through the building. "That takes care of that." Mint declared as the rubble flew around him. He couldn't sense if that killed Ryugan but he'd have to wait and see.

Cello absconded into space, wreathed in shadow. Now, Marimba was the final Mazoku left on the battlefield of Arcose. Previously, he had told his soldiers that he would take their emotions and keep fighting until the end. However, now that he was in a clearer state of mind, he could not justify keeping that promise. If he were to die here, Cello would not have the power to stop Maxsuz from taking complete control of the army. As a Hero and Honorary Mazoku, he would no doubt be accepted as their new leader, a leader who was more likely to use them as pawns rather than care for their sake.

Marimba flew into the skies, looking, listening, and sensing the remaining conflicts below. Salvo continued to fight her Saiyan nemesis despite the Daimao's advice and now appeared to be aided by Striker. Had the Namekian believed she had wanted help retreating, he would not hesitate to cover their escape, but this did not seem to be the case.

The Ryugan gang appeared to be a lost cause, with most of its members defeated and the remaining ones in a frenzy. Not that Marimba felt he owed anything to them. If Namek were being attacked, they would have just as likely shown up to pillage and exploit the tragedy, like the pack of vultures they were. They had proven that much to be true when they showed up to Sen's massacre of Cornet Village.

The final group appeared to be two females that the Mazoku did not recognize. Perhaps it was Maxsuz who had called them here, or at least one of them. One of them appeared to be having a mental crisis, and the other was leaving. Perhaps they were being allowed to go.

But even if not, given that Nero and Zhalla were already there, it would be a miracle if Marimba could even do anything about that situation. At best, the Daimao would just be delivering himself into their hands in exchange for a stranger if he could even accomplish that much. Knowing that Nero could inflict punishment worse than death, it was a fate that Marimba could not justify daring for anyone but his closest allies.

With a heavy heart, gritted teeth, and clenched muscles, Marimba slowly ascended deeper into space, swearing bitterly under his breath and glaring hatefully at the planet below as he was forced to return to his ship.
