Where to find Dark Roast

It was a strange, yet satisfying feeling to walk about the city in such a way; though with the procurement of her beloved dart roast there was hardly a reason to remain further. Her wings were about ready to spread so she could take flight, when a sensation would cause her hesitation; a snag upon her dress, a tug more like. Her attention would turn; immediately nothing, but a quick glance downward would a reveal a little... person?

"Oh?" Rhapsody would muse curiously, "Well now, hello there!" she'd greet happily before taking notice of the little girls request and coupled offering.

Was this a lost child? A lost blue child? She hadn't seen a blue child before, but something was familiar about her; her face, her features, though not entirely the same she was quite similar to Megis, another lost child, albeit a pink one. Rhapsody would look about the area, left and right; where in the world were this child's parents? There was no one to be seen, and a glance back towards the child, more specifically at the bundle of zeni she offered, revealed it to be less than well kept.

"Have sooooome...?" she'd parrot in a momentary confusion before her eyes would travel down to the bag she held, "Hmm, ah, I see now." she'd say, offering the little girl a gentle smile. Rhapsody would kneel to greet the child at eye height, placing a gentle hand upon the girls, pushing her zeni back towards her, "You most certainly may, though you need not part with your hard fought earnings." she'd assure happily, "It is a pleasure to meet you little one, you may call me Rhapsody; please tell me, who might you be, and are your parents nearby?"

As she introduced herself, she would reach into her bag to pull out a small package; Rhapsody was sure the girl may have heard her cheer for her coffee and seemed to be requesting some, thought Rhapsody had a surprise for her in place of it. The reveal would be something deceptive, though technically exactly what the girl was asking for; coffee beans, though of a much more edible variety, chocolate covered coffee beans. Rhapsody held back her friendly offering despite the surprise reveal however, first awaiting the girl's response before she would share.

Rhapsody would purr as she heard the child attempt pronouncing her name, she was quite the adorable one, reminding her very much of Megis. She wondered if perhaps the two were related, though the child seemed to look more like Moire than Megis; was it rude to believe they each appeared similar to one another? If it was, Rhapsody would know, but her opinion would be unchanged even if another had told her it was.

Her emotions overflowed for the moment the child suddenly seemed to deflate, as if she been defeated, losing the fight of her life. Rhapsody's brow would furrow worriedly, her ears folding back as she looked upon Laezi would a concerned expression. Rhapsody immediately realized her mistake in asking an otherwise innocent question; Laezi's introduction and mention of her absent mother said it all. Perhaps she was just making assumptions based off the child's words, but she didn't care, the child was clearly saddened and disappointed and that was all that mattered.

Rhapsody would reach her hand out, placing it upon Laezi's head and stroking through the squishy tendrils than made up her hair.

"Miss Laezi is it?" Rhapsody would remark, giving the girl a soft smile as she drew her wings in tighter so as to lower any intimidating presence she may have had, "It is quite the pleasure to meet you, little Miss Laezi. Thank you kindly for the answer, I do so believe you earned your reward!" she'd say happily, hoping to distract the child from the negativity and misfortune she felt.

She would open the package she held, before reaching out to gently take Laezi's hand. Hold Laezi's palm open, Rhapsody would drop a few of the chocolate covered espresso beans from the package onto her hand. Only a few for the moment, seeking to gauge whether or not Laezi would enjoy them, as well as making sure she didn't spoil the child.
