Where is North City?

Traveling the world came with its own difficulties as Rhapsody knew all too well; her abilities to communicate with nature, be it flora or fauna made it a bit easier for her, but she wasn't one to manipulate the natural course of nature. As such, when the need for food or dwellings arose, while she would certain inquire with the local wildlife, she'd be on her own for actual procurement. Her most frequented locale was the most delectable mountain of ice cream, Mt. Puccino; but being so far north, and so away from civilization, some trips would see her left out in the snow.

"A city to the East, a city to the West-" Rhapsody would remark as she sat atop the edge of a building, her legs swinging back and forth as she focused on her thoughts, "A city quite far south, and then..." she'd lift her head, looking around, her right ear twitching as her gaze panned the city skyline, "Then there is this place... is this NOT the city that would be to the North?" she questioned aloud, "Central City... but why? The cardinal directions are often stated aloud as North, South, East, and West... what would compel whomever named these cities to break free from the concept of cardinal directions and name this place Central City!?"

Rhapsody was more than just a bit perplexed; but she remained where she was upon the top of the building, lost in thought, taking a break as she stretched her wings and tail. She had an idea, or at least the makings of one; if this was the Central City, then perhaps further north, North City could be found. Yet she had traveled the northern mountains a great deal, and had never seen such a place. Her eyes began to shine with enthusiasm as she wondered... could this have been the beginnings of a mystery!?
