It had been the first night Yukata was truly alone. She'd always had somewhere to go before, long nights of drinking and partying only to crash on her parent's couch or in the floor of their living room. However, now, she was entirely at the whims of the world itself. Jobless, homeless, and broke to boot. Her only saving grace she had, was the fact that she was just a regular human anymore. Her strength, her power, and her chances are survival skyrocketed to new heights with her new power. The only problem with that was, the cost of having her new power, and how she found herself tonight. Searching West City in the middle of the night, the cold chill in the air matched only by the warmth of human blood, all in a vain search for one of the few targets on her list. Someone she was desperate to locate. Her sister.
Yuki was currently crouched near to the ground just outside the back entrance of the night hotel under the protective awning, the limp body of a woman sprawled on the ground next to her. The vampire was holding close to her chest the head of her victim, the human still alive despite the puncture wounds to her throat. Yuki knew now after numerous failed attempts on animals, just how to bite without killing. She didn't want to kill people, it was one of those lines she just didn't have the courage to cross at the moment. Despite this, after honing her craft, she felt comfortable snacking in the night. The woman was slowly placed back down on the floor of the small covering, thin trails of crimson red dripping from Yuki's mouth as she wiped away the evidence from herself, fully intent on leaving the woman there. Something came over her in the last minute, lifting the body and leaving her inside the back entrance instead, somewhere she was far more likely to be discovered later in the day.
Having had her fill, the vampire found herself walking out of the dark alley and into the open night air, looking up and down the mostly empty streets with curiousity. She wasn't really sure where to look, but asking around couldn't hurt too much. Surely someone had info on where her sister was.
"Come ooooooooooon, where the hell do you find someone to talk to here. Geez." She'd state annoyed, stamping a foot down in anger while her hands stayed in balled fists at her side. "I can't search a whole damn planet. There's like, a gagillion people here." She'd continue to groan, fully intent on complaining rather than doing the one thing she was trying to accomplish. "Sis..."
