TULSE'S PL: 19,000 |
ACTIVE TRANSFORMATIONS: None |
Tulse had been trapped in the dark for what felt like an eternity. She laid perfectly, completely still, her arms and legs still strapped down to the bed that monster had placed her on - not that she'd have been able to move them now, even without the restraints. Whatever that damn flower was, it had completely frozen her. Not so much as a finger on her hand could twitch - she couldn't even close her eyes to blink. Hell, the only things she could move were her eyes. And in this state, she existed, persisted, for over five days straight. At first, Tulse hoped someone would show up to rescue her - surely it had been logged that her squadron had never returned from their mission?
But now that a whole five days had passed, she was beginning to lose hope. Would she really be stuck here, immobile, for four straight months, as that demon had said? No... No, she'd find a way to signal for help, somehow. But how? The only thing she could even move was her eyes. Maybe... Hmm. Could she still control her ki? It took a few moments, and it felt much weaker than normal, but Tulse could feel the manual shifting of ki energies throughout her body. It'd hurt to do it, but just maybe, she could fire off blasts from her eyes! She'd seen other Saiyans do it before. The only thing she could really aim at was the ceiling of the cavern, though. ...Wait, could she blast off a beam powerful enough to break through the ceiling and send off a beacon of sorts?
Well... Only one way to find out. Tulse slowed her raspy breathing and calmly focused all the ki she could into her eyes - which felt wrong, by the way - and then... She let rip! Her eyes lit up red and blasted laser beams out, which slammed into the roof of the cave and began to burrow through tons of solid rock. Tulse felt herself growing drained quickly, but she held the gaze for as long as she could, the beams breaking through chunk after chunk of rock, until... They broke free!
A pair of brilliant red lasers flashed up from the Borgos Bluffs, rising directly out from the top of the cavern where Tulse had been left for dead. She held the signal for as long as she possibly could... Though eventually, she had to close her eyes. Damn, that hurt! But it gave her some hope. And the smallest bit of moonlight trickled down from the holes she had bored, allowing her to see for the first time in a day. Now she just had to hope someone had seen that signal - and that they were friendly.
