GENERAL INFORMATION
NAME: Geist
ALIASES: N/A
AGE: One-Hundred
GENDER: Male
SPECIES: Alien (Abyssian)
MY FINAL FORM [CORE]: When fighting unrestrained, Geist's power overflows and allows him to use 2 MP attack boosts at his maximum form for free. He cannot however use defensive MP boosts at his maximum form.
FASTEST IN THE UNIVERSE [CORE]: Filled with dark energies around his semi-ethereal body, Geist is capable of limited teleportation. Twice per thread he may dodge an attack at or under 30% of his PL for no cost.
SURVIVALIST: Geist adapts to and learns from enemies stronger than himself quite rapidly, and when using 2 MP boosts they gain an extra +10% power when used against foes that he is below 80% of their power.
GENERAL TRAITS -
>> ANTISENSE: Geist's foreign biology creates an odd energy signature, making him untraceable to conventional sensing and scouter devices. Additionally escape techniques gain +20% power, and 1/Thread he may use one for free.
>> QUICK LEARNER: Geist feeds on experience in the field, and through watching others he can adapt to form his own techniques at a rate of every 8,000 PL.
STARTING PLANET: Namek
HOME REGION: No starting region.
CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS
APPEARANCE - Geist takes the form of a humanoid silhouette with cyan tinted 'eyes' and a similarly colored aura around him. While seemingly ghost-like in appearance his body is actually a mass of photosensitive gas trapped around a solid core that acts as his 'brain'. Damage to his core can disrupt his form and his body is not completely immune to damage despite its composition.
BACKGROUND: Geist hails from the planet Abyss, a darkened world in the far reaches of the Southern Galaxy which receives almost no light from any stars around it. Abyss is shrouded in a constant miasma with only bioluminescent plants and beings providing any sort of visibility upon the surface of the planet. Most life is centered around pockets of superheated water caused by the unstable magma-filled core, creating vents of steam that attract microbes and lichen to leech off the soup of minerals and nutrients deposited by meteors long ago. The denizens of Abyss would have removed as simple bacteria and plants had it not been for the machinations of a dark wizard who long ago spread dark influence over the planet. It created a semblance of sentient life from mutated flora and fauna which for a time served as minions to this wizard. When eventually they were struck down off-planet by daring Heroes, Abyss was left to evolve on its' own.
Geist is the fourth generation of Shades, the most intelligent species upon Abyss. Formed from a magical core with a gaseous outer 'body', they nonetheless conform themselves to a generally humanoid shape in vague remembrance of their old master. The culture of the Shades is quite simple, move together as a tribe and feed on the light emitted by the numerous plants of Abyss and rarely the passing shine of comets or stars above. Geist himself was the third spawn of the tribe's leader and as such was expected to practice his skills to defend himself and his kin. Naturally subservient due to the tampering of dark magic for his species Geist of course did this with no complaint. Beneath his arid facade of a warrior, the Alien was a naturally inquisitive and sarcastic being, taking great joy out of speaking despite it not being a common activity of Abyssians.
Then one day, Geist felt the inescapable call of magic once more - a spell being cast to bind a being to weapons. Uncertain and afraid he fought but to no avail. In an instant Geist was brought across countless parsecs... only to end up in the hands of the Mazoku Cello
