Hospital, was still a generous word to use; the practitioners had minimal training and experience, the facilities were small despite now being expanded across two whole floors of the castle, and the reliance on the good ol' healing splooge of medical machines couldn't have been higher. Her experience with Tinker had taught Zuqetta how expensive it was to run medical machines, and considering the Saiyan's weren't exactly creating the healing liquid themselves, it was doing a number on the kingdom's coffers. As such, Zuqetta had seen fit to had the single medical wing of the castle expanded into a full on hospital that incorporated similar practices to hospitals found on Earth!
While previously, most medical machines were meant solely for the Elite, or else only those deemed at deaths door; Zuqetta's change in policy opened the facilities for any and all, be they a former noble or lower class. Station and occupation didn't matter; while the rule would remain to leave the devices for only those in critical condition, Zuqetta wanted every citizen to have access to these machines when needed. What expanded beyond the medical machines however were practices on those with less severe wounds; a few gashes and cut, or a broken bone here or there hardly facilitated the need of the incredibly expensive healing splooge! Yet, while in the past warriors with such injuries would be forced to merely sleep it off and hope for the best, there were now "doctors" capable of assessing the physical well being of their patients who could reset bones and apply medical attention as needed.
Of course, it'd only been a couple days since the battle for the throne, so "doctors" was a strong word. She'd picked soldiers of previous medical experience in the field to fill the roles for now; a splint might not have been a proper replacement for a cast, but it was certainly better than nothing! Yet, despite the adherence to new rules, it seemed not even Zuqetta was so pure as to not have the occasional abuse of power, as despite the injuries not being life threatening, she'd insisted a particular boy be placed into a medical machine rather than merely be assigned to a hospital bed, that boy being none other than Cilas.
"Heeeeeey! Awake yet!!" Zuqetta would suddenly call out as a pair of automatic doors slid open to her arrival; her attention immediately turned to one of the two medical machines in the room, the one which held a still sleeping Cilas, "Boooooo, still lazing about?" she'd groan, making her way into the room and over towards the machine.
The room was rather quaint in size, all white, and meant for efficiency as it held only the two medical machines and a computer station; an attendant of the medical facility monitored the functions from the machines dutifully, though with staff as low as it was, they'd find themselves looking over several rooms from time to time. The attendant was rather portly, bald and with a scruffy beard; he was surprisingly short, even shorter than Zuqetta, but the tail around his waist was a dead giveaway to him being a Saiyan, albeit and incredibly old or just plain ugly one.
"My Queen, visiting again are we?" The old Saiyan attendant would question, "As mentioned before, the lad's condition is stabilized and his wounds healed. He can be moved to a bed at this point until he awakens-"
"Tuttututut!!!!" Zuqetta would quickly interrupt, "And what if he doesn't wake up for DAYS!? He'll be all sloggish, he might not even be able ta feel his legs!!!" she'd insist, prompting a subtle sigh from the attendant, "No, he stays in the machine until he wakes up! Now, besides that, what did I say before? None of this Queen stuff! I said you can just call me Zuqetta!" she'd scold, crossing her arms as she tapped a foot annoyingly on the floor.
"As you command, my Qu- Lady Zuqetta." the attendant would sigh as they attempted to distract themselves by pretending to look up information on the computer.
"Gah! No, it's not an order or command! Just a normal, just... thing! Ya know?" She'd express with an annoyed sigh, "I doubt Taori went around tellin' everyone ta call him King!"
"The King had no preference towards what he was called, and gave no express orders to refer to him as one thing or another." the attendant would remark dryly, causing Zuqetta to pause and think.
"Does... does me telling you want to call me make me a tyrant!?" she'd question, but would receive no response from the attendant, "Ughhh, fine, call me whatever you want too, I don't care!" she'd remark, before turning her attention back to the medical machine with a rather annoyed expression.
"As you wish, my Queen." The attendant would respond, cause Zuqetta to flinch in further annoyance.
Cilas should have been healed by now, and could have awoken at any point in time; to Zuqetta's surprise after the battle, it seemed Cilas had suffered much greater injury than his sister, even if the physicians at the time didn't deem either to be in life threatening condition. With Zerori and Zuqetta having worked together with their magic to repair the integrity of the castle and make the changes to the medical wing as they did, it felt as though the status quo was beginning to settle. This however, wasn't necessarily a good thing; the throne room still sat empty without a council table, and changes were slower than she'd have liked. Zuqetta had hoped Cilas could awaken to a whole new Sadala, though reality seemed much more sluggish than the things she could dream up.
