Majin Halluc had been wandering the Earth for quite some time now. Roaming the vast plains and fields, under the cover of dense forest canopies, low over the sloshing waves of the sea and upon the peaks of the great mountains. In all so far, he'd met very few with evil in their hearts. True evil, that was. There had been some, during his travels through the deserts, that he'd come upon that were quite terrible. Bandits preying upon hapless villagers and travelers - but no longer. No, those bandits would never bother another soul, now that he had eaten them.
After his two conflicts with the fox, Xiaolan, Halluc had found that he rather enjoyed playfighting. Everyone was so serious in their martial arts, and this new place seemed much the same. A temple of serious martial artists, but try as he might, he seldom smelled the scents of enjoyment from these beings. They all smelled of purpose, of drive, of philosophy. None seemed to just enjoy the fight.
Still, that didn't necessarily mean he couldn't play with them in harmless little spars. He still turned heads though - standing at a towering height of nearly nine feet tall, he was often mistaken for being incredibly ill, or woefully underfed. One such misunderstanding in a small village had led to the Majin staying at an elderly man's home. Halluc had helped with the chores, and in payment the old man had both fed Halluc AND helped the Majin learn the planet's trade language more fluently.
So, at least now he didn't speak with an obvious difficulty. It had been a hard goodbye to leave, but Halluc wanted to explore more of this world. Now, he could better understand why so many of this world practiced the martial arts - or, rather that was one of his hopes. Halluc himself had no idea how to fight properly, just slug it out and toss energy blasts. Perhaps he could learn it here, and have fun doing it?
Majin Halluc walks up the front pathway, stopping to look at the gates. He was about to knock on the gates, when the sound of approaching footsteps catches his ears...
