BACKGROUND:
Chiva exhaled her first breath only a few years before everything began taking a dark turn.
To most nowadays, it is no mystery that Planet Sadala would inevitably be taken over by a multitude of natural disasters that would begin to make life upon the world be simply impossible. Of course, it was a gradual shift, but for some individuals it spoke and they would answer the call and leave the planet.
Others were not so lucky.
Chiva herself, was raised amidst one of the fiercest Sadalan clan. There was little noble about them, and yet they were still wildly respected because all they did, they did in the name of their own people. However despite that, Chiva did not possess overwhelming strength and rather she was pretty much a pushover for most of her time. But she was also kinder than most of her fellow kinsmen.
That gentle behavior was not prepared for the kind of fate that had been decided. Their clan leader refused to leave Sadala, believing that they were perhaps the first clan to ever walk this planet, and that if the planet was to die; so would they. Their destiny was tied to this world, however if any other Saiyan outside of their clan wished to leave, each and every one of Chiva's clansmen was tasked with assisting their fellow Saiyan in leaving- whilst they would stay behind, even if it meant being wiped out from existence.
A terrible destiny. One that she felt was unfair, and honestly, she was scared. Perhaps even envious of the other Saiyans, she considered one too many times to leave behind her clan, but never mustered the strength to go against the leader's wishes.
Perhaps in the end she just simply convinced herself that in the end it would all be fine. Nothing would happen... they would be safe. And yet, the disasters did not stop and a fateful day their very village was suddenly shattered, even the ground began flying as if gravity was suddenly completely reversed. People cried, screamed, only to feel alive because those that did not, no longer had the life force to fight back.
Chiva ran away, desperate as she sought anything that could lead her off this planet. She traversed dark forests in the midst of total destruction, hills and valleys and found nothing, until eventually the tempest caught up to her and injured her, she fell and was unable to move, with no one and nothing else around her besides a barren wasteland... and a rock.
A pitch black stone, to be precise, right in front of her. She stared with empty eyes at the rock, almost picturing the void of space, and wishing that she had left when she had the chance. One last time, she confessed herself to the rock and with a finger, she dared touch it- in the regret that she could not reach the skies, in the end.
That was when a strange goo folded around her finger, and crawled onto her, wrapping her like a cocoon.
Next, there would be nothing, for many years. Dormant, in a cryogenic sleep of sorts, floating through space. However, whatever saved her suddenly perceived a surge of energy unlike any other in the universe, and immediately rushed towards its source- Planet Plant.
