CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS
APPEARANCE: Sadias stands to be around five foot seven in terms of height, but has been swearing he'll hit a growth spurt one of these days. Doesn't have a clue how, or why it'll happen but he is certain it will. Like most members of his race, he sports a bluish skin color, but his leans more to the realm of teal. As for his hair he has styled into a funky looking mohawk on the account of seeing a Konatsian doing battle and being awed by her. So, he decided to mimic it to a certain degree. Though if one more thing stood out it would be his golden eyes that were fairly distinguished from the normal blue that Herans are known for.
BACKGROUND: Sadias grew up more ordinarily than you'd expect him to have. Average home. Dull parents, and the occasional scuffle with his two siblings. Like many other Herans they were originally from Planet Hera and lived there for more years than he could count. However, at some point that all changed. Members of the Hymn Vanguard showed up one day when the stars could no longer be seen painting the sky. They killed his family, forced him to fight and of course kill his siblings before then adopting them as one of their own. Sadias couldn't have been more than 8, or 9 when this all happened. It was a blur really. Just a crimson stain on his mind. He'd later learnt that what happened to him had been repeated across Hera for generations. Usually from small families, ya know the ones that don't have any true warriors hiding within them. Those were the easiest meals. But that wasn't always how they picked their targets for recruiting.
See, the Hymn Vanguard were a group of bandits on Hera. Rather than go out and raid other worlds they took pleasure in amassing wealth from their own people. Sure, they had gone out themselves time and time again. Brought by exotic servants and soldiers from across the stars to fight their battles for them. Like the Namekian Scargo. Someone who was brought into the fold in similar if not identical fashion. Apparently, they both had a fire in their eyes that just couldn't be overlooked. In the case of Scargo he...was forced to join in the slaughtering of innocence's on his first day if he wanted to stay alive himself. You could say that Sadias got off easy. They say his impatience. His boredom. The way he just haphazardly seemed to ignore authority even in the face of their strength. Because he did try to fight back. Like his parents he aimed to strike the first blow only to fail. Forced to strike down his loved ones and yet even after a year of dwelling among their ranks he couldn't bring himself to care about what he had done. Or what they'd done. Not fully at least.
If anything, he liked their way of thinking to certain degree. Enough to not run away or seek vengeance right away that is. From the first year on all they did was train, train, and train some more. It was rather harsh regiment as well. Plenty of dropouts, run aways, and dastardly deaths to be had once they were thrown into raids themselves. On his very first raid our future cardinal came to learn that the Hymn wasn't founded by Herans at all. After charging into the battlefield, he was met by a strange if not sinister glare. A many eyed Majin that seemed to bore holes into his soul. Left him paralyzed, but not for long. Didn't have the time to be star struck by who he'd come to learn was Majin Babina. It was just razing houses, kidnapping helpless souls, but they just did it so well he couldn't help but stare. By the end of it, Sadias had proven that he wasn't dead weight. No, he was in it for the long haul. Fast forward 7 or 8 years and you'll find that Babina had taken him in as an apprentice. Started to stuff him full of secrets and lessons on how to keep everyone in line. Apparently, he was going to take over if something ever befell the Majin one of these days.
Shoved that old apprentice right into the side lines to less than stellar applause. It had been announced years ago, but the previous apprentice just couldn't let things go. Hell, most of the Vanguard couldn't. They were just bidding their time, waiting for an opportunity to strike. And it finally came one night when Sadias had been called to train with his master. The other bandits threw them a feast when they returned, but their mistake was ever trusting those people to begin with. The food was drugged, all of it. And the only person who had the antidote was the former apprentice, Scargo. Now wasn't that just a lucky stroke of fate? Yes? No? Well it didn't matter much to the scorned Namekian who slit the throats of not only his followers, but also his allies. Unlike Sadias who was rather unhappy with his dull life our dear Scargo was still thriving with vengeance. His body practically the craved it. So he killed them all. Except for his former master and replacement that is. Those two were treated to a special fate. While he hadn't been an apprentice for long he had been apart of the Dragon Clan, and that meant he wasn't a foreigner when it came to magic. And sealing came to him more swiftly than anything else. And the vessel? Well he chose an lamp. A simple lamp that would stop their aging temporarily, and block off ki from the outside world. Figured that was a fitting punishment for the two of them. A traitor to his people and the monster that favored him.
Sadias doesn't know how long he was sealed in the lamp, or where Scargo went after that. He just found himself freed on Planet Planet, his master no where to be seen.

COMBAT INFORMATION
TECHNIQUES: You start with Three Standard Technique Slots and One Sparking Slot that you can use any way you like. Some species start out with additional slots, or access to certain slot-based abilities for free. You also start with two additional Utility Technique Slots.
Medium Defensive || Yata MirrorADDITIONAL NOTES: I'd like the first transformation renamed to "Honing" and the second to "Power Quenching ". I'll name the rest when they become relevant. Also the art is owned by me. Commissioned from a friend of mine.
A hand me down technique from the Majin Babina after becoming their student and aiding in the hostile takeover that ruined his family. Conjuring two ornate and transparent mirrors to either shield himself or an ally after reinforcing them with Ki. "Behold the Master's work in action!"
Power: 40%
KP Cost: 4 KP
Variants: Splitting(1tp) Sustained(2tp)
Light Offensive|| Nova Fissure
The first original technique he spent weeks crafting in solitude. Molding, and then coiling Ki within his palm before slashing it through the air sending jagged blades of auburn Ki flying out at a target. "Fall below my magic!"
Power: 10%
KP Cost: 2 KP
Variants: Bleed(2tp) Splitting(1tp)
Heavy Offensive || Shatter Storm
A simple yet complex technique that has woven ki and magic together in order to create a flurry of enhanced shards of jagged, blade like glass that mows down foes that are caught inside of it. "Bibidi Boo, death has found you!"
Power: 70%
KP Cost: 6 KP
Variants: Piercing(2tp) Bleed(2tp)
Medium Offensive Sparking|| Cosmo Fissure
"Hahaha! Let me show you what I can really do!" That is all Sadias has ever said before unleashing the masterpiece he calls his 'Ultimate Move'. Yet another combination of Ki and magic that has him repeatedly slash the air with his hands until a large, withered suave of energy is formed and sent flying forward with the intent of slashing his enemy in two.
Power: 40%
KP Cost: 4(KP) 4(MP)
Variants: Bleed+(2tp) Quake+(3tp) Bleed(2tp)
Max Power(Support)||"Hahaha!"
For one reason or another Sadias thinks it prudent to go all out from the start in any activity his puts his mind to. Be that on purpose or on accident it seems to always work out with his ki reserves bubbling and that ruthless blood the Herans are known for boiling to a tipping point. In this state his skin appears to glisten a tad, but no other changes have ever been found. - Sadias may activate Max Power at the very start of his post, increasing the power of all of his techniques by +10% while active. This will not drain Momentum at a at the beginning of your post and Sadias can gain up to 1 MP naturally per turn. As a trade off he is unable to use evasive or escape techs, blocking escapes, or intercepting attacks meant for others. He can only turn it off at the end of his second post after activation at the earliest. He will still consume MP and not regain any MP on the post he turned it off on. If he runs out of MP, he'll lose Max Power's effects at the end of his post and cannot gain any MP on the following turn.
Magic Materialization(Utility) || Bibidi Boo!
Bibidi Boo are the magic words taught to Sadias by his Majin mentor and future cell mate during their imprisonment. Through them he is able to perform all sorts of feats. Such as conjuring objects both big, and small.
Flight(Utility)|| The Magic Lamp
Rather than flying on his own Sadias has a habit of enlarging and levitating with the Prison Lamp he was trapped inside and riding around on it after claiming he just couldn't be bother to fly using ki. Of course that was a lie and he was just incapable of doing so for some unknown reason. "Pfft. Why fly when you can ride?!"
