BACKGROUND

The world can be an unfair place.

Blessed with a natural talent for medicine, Jujube's dreams of becoming a civilian researcher in Hatchi City were dashed when she was conscripted at a young age for the seemingly never-ending war effort. Forced to face down against a foe more monstrous than she could have ever imagined, she thought she had seen the very worst the world had to offer. Then, she bore witness to the devastating effects of Destron upon Saiyan and Tuffle alike, and saw first-hand the terrible machinations of some of her peoples' leading minds. In that moment, she realized something -- it didn't matter which flag she marched under. The monsters were everywhere.

Faced between death at the hands of the terrible Oozaru on the one side, and crimes against nature on the other, she made the only choice she could conceive of at the time. She turned her blaster on her own people, and left one of their most horrific secret projects up in smoke. The result was that her sector was overrun by the Saiyans, and she was branded a traitor to the Tuffles. In her flight from the planet, she publicly attacked the sitting government in a broadcasted tirade that revealed yet more military and scientific secrets: an ideological assault on the republic on the one hand, and a final treason on the other.

In her years in exile, Jujube stayed mostly under the radar, cutting her teeth in the service of warlords and amongst mercenaries. Even away from the war, she seemed destined for the field. There, her rejection of Tuffle democracy and their creed of self-defense grew both more pointed and more radical. She began to see cracks everywhere in society, fearing the secrets that lay beneath and railing against the complacency of various alien societies.

In her mind, it was weakness that had driven the Tuffles to their crimes, and bureaucracy which had enabled it. Conquest may have been what pushed her people to the brink, but perhaps the conquerors had the right of it all along.

Jujube activates a shield on her left arm, which she can use to deflect more powerful attacks. This upgraded variant takes more energy, but can also limit shock damage upon breaking.

Jujube fires an upgraded shot out of her arm blaster. The energy is unstable and lacks serious power, but can cause severe wounds on impact.

A modification of Jujube's arm blaster allows it to fire off a heavy metal slug. Raw power alone enables it to pierce through conventional defenses.

Jujube projects a variant of her Holo Shield in-front of an ally, allowing her to help mitigate incoming damage.

Jujube fires off a heavy shot with her arm blaster to propel her into the air, allowing her to evade even powerful attacks at the cost of energy and ammunition.

By overcharging the servos in her armour, Jujube is able to turn herself into a living projectile, hurling herself at her opponent at full speed. This can allow her to deal massive damage to an opponent, but leaves both her and her equipment totally drained.

Medium Sparking Defensive || Failsafe
Jujube projects a shield around an ally, which can sustain heavy damage before breaking. If the shield survives contact with opposing strikes, its excess energy can be focused into hasty healing.

Utility Technique || Rocket Boost!
Although Jujube has mastered basic flight, she is able to use her Caduceus suit to greatly enhance her speed with the use of miniaturized rocket boosters.
