Prim picked up on the properties Saizo described as he searched the body over. It was a dark magic, not unlike what Prim was privy to themselves back on Konats. They aren't surprised. If the dark arts can tempt man, it would easily dupe wild animals. The konatsian stood up and adjusted their shoulder cape while looking in the direction of this so-called mine.
"Consideration for later."
Prim mumbled out as they followed back in pace, at Saizo's side. "Do the mines still run? Wild animals attacking laborers for food isn't the wildest story. Yet, them being so out of the way... You're probably onto something." Those eyes trained a little lower than usual. Prim could see trace marks of a trail, where the wolves came in from. Trace amounts of the disturbance left by blood rubies, they'd gather. Saizo would notice them veer further and closer to them as the wolves didn't take such a clear direct route to the pair, but they always managed to follow roughly the same path forward.
After a while, and as Saizo and them approached the foot of the rockface called Skull Rock, Prim would gather close again. Those blue eyes narrowed around at multiple angles.
"Other fresh traces of that stink. Blood Ruby. They have at least two more groups the size of that last one out there."
They cared to mention this now when the concentration made them certain, but the android probably thought they were pulling this out of their ass. The kashvar just looked up at SKull Rock and then him. Stopping as he did to check the entrance for any obvious signs of the crooks in question. "There's a disturbance up ahead. Out of place. Possibly them, or some shipment of the magic stone. You were right to aim here..."
