Planet Bews - Open to One

Ryugan and his team were chowing down on their food when Ryugan had heard a familiar voice.

“Could it be? What the heck is she doing all the way out here?”

Gira had showed up and Ryugan had smirked as he looked at her. They all wore a new mercenary armor look that they borrowed from the Arcosian Empire, they just scratched out the tag of it.

“You know girl you keep meeting us like this and we might as well give you a mercenary suit like us and have you join the crew. Come get yourself a bowl of bear stew. It comes with the polar bears claw.”

He chuckled. As Ryugan grabbed his bowl of stew, he walked away from the group so that Gira couldn’t hear what he was saying in his wrist watch.

“Broker Onix come in.”

The broker had responded back.

“Yes ryugan what is it?”

“The device we are looking for is located 100ft underground of the planet right? We will notice it with the cave entrance right?”

“That’s right. It’s a green device infused with purple metallic surrounds on it. You can’t miss it..”

Ryugan nodded. Meanwhile Joker had croaked and sat next to Gira.

“It’s been a minute huh.”

The 3’0ft toad began sipping the soup. Razer had interjected as he let out a slight smirk.

“What the heck you doing out here on this cold hell of a planet?”

He let out a chuckled laugh. As the food was decreasing more and more, their bellies were full and now they had to start the mission and since Gira was here, an extra set of equipment was given to her. Ryugan had approached her.

“We are going on a mission to collect a device that we plan to infuse with destron gas that Yangcong had created. The gas may be perfect to use to cause the environmental damage to not occur, but we are in short supplies of it since we only bought the one destron device. Now we need to get this device to full amplify it so that we don’t even need to buy any more of the gas. It will just expand overtime in the device. Can’t save the world without help. That Lottus guy is nothing but trouble. The destron gas is the only thing that can harm him. We heard the stories about him. So are you with us?”

He showed his shark teeth and placed his arm around her shoulder.

“What do ya say kid?”

If she accepted, then the four of them would begin to place bomb devices on the ground and then standing far away from it as they went off. The explosion was big enough so that they could find the ditch that allowed them to attach their hooks to the edge of the cliff and allowed them to go down properly. While they were climbing down, their ship had illuminated enough light for them to see everything below. Tech was driving the ship carefully in this vast 100ft cliff dive to the bottom of the planet.

Climbing down the cliff side proved to be rather easier than expected. Razer was setting up the charges of the bomb against the cliff ice walls. Before he could detonate it, a giant size arm had ram straight through the wall and punching Razer’s entire body with one strike. Pieces of ice wall had now fallen and Razer flying straight down into the abyss. Regaining conscious mid fall, he quickly pulled out his giant shuriken and stabbing it against the ice wall as he clicked his teeth in frustration.

Meanwhile Ryugan and the rest of the crew tried to understand just what the heck just happened. The giant would retract his arm back into the hole and proceeded to walk away from inside the wall. Ryugan looking down to see Razer slowly flying up back to them and having a bit of blood sliding from his lower lip. Razer was pissed and Ryugan staring at him as he placed his hand against Razer’s chest.

Ryugan: “I didn’t want to go all out destruction because I wanted to do this undercover. It seems like we were detected. Don’t know if it was by scouter or perhaps this creature can detect ki. I understand you’re angry, but we aren’t on some other planet where we are familiar with the layouts. This planet was said to have been abandoned. Looks like it isn’t. Let’s just investigate that hole in the wall and see what the hell attacked us.”

Razer had to calm down and saw the reason that Ryugan was saying. They worked better as a team and he nodded back to him. Ryugan and his crew proceeded to fly straight to the hole in the wall, with the ship now illuminating the entire hole structure to get a better view of what was inside. From the looks of things, it appeared to be a laboratory and from the size of the open door that the giant had walked out of, it seemed like it was about 15ft in height.

One by one each of them walking in a single file and entering the hole. Now looking around, they spotted old research books and such in the room. Ryugan taking a read at one of the journal entries.

Ryugan: “entry log 510, the giants have overrun the laboratory. The tuffles that we captured and brought here and that we had hoped to use them to one day get revenge on the saiyans have betrayed us. I am the last Arcosian Empire scientist here. General Blizzard refused to help research this project. If we had better technology and more money then perhaps we wouldn’t be in this mess.”

Ryugan had sighed to himself after reading this. Joker replying back as he looked around.

Joker: “no matter what planet we are on, it always goes back to the big three races huh..”

In the expansive laboratory, a symphony of whirring machinery and beeping monitors fills the air. Giant glass chambers contain enigmatic experiments, while towering giants, the subjects of these scientific endeavors, roam this abandoned laboratory.

Arcosian Empire Scientist 1: “these fucking idiot giants really think they can run this place huh. We will see about that.”

The red brenchian getting on his scouter.

Arcosian Empire Scientist 1: “Nuke this place with all the ki missiles you can muster ups”

Arcosian Empire Officer: “are you sure about that?”

Arcosian Empire Scientist 1: “yes do it!”

Arcosian Empire Officer: “it will take 10 minutes to nuke it.”


The room pulsates with energy as the machinery responds to the scientist’s commands. In the corner, a colossal giant, Experiment 572, twitches as electrical impulses surge through its immense frame.

Arcosian Empire Scientist 2: “we were lucky enough to get this side of the compound locked. No telling what would happen if both sides were overrun..”

The B block of the laboratory was safe and secure. A block was overran and guess where Ryugan and the squad was located at? A block.

The arcosian empire scientist 3 wearing a hazmat suit and coming from block A.

AES3: “We are still overrun here. But we have solved the problem. We are nuking this place. So pack up all your shit and head over to the escape pods that will send up back to space to the mothership.”

AES2: “you do realize they are going to kill us the moment we get on board right?”

AES3: “that won’t happen. Our report will keep us alive trust me.”

As the scientists were talking among each other, a towering giant with enhanced strength showing up and grabbing a hole of AES3, squeezing his body tightly. AES2 running over to a nearby meta door and locking it down. He was now sealed away completely from block A.

Ryugan and his crew roaming block A, spotting one of the giants and quickly taking care of him with a team effort. Ryugan looking around to see the equipment of the laboratory still worked.

Joker’s web hands started to poke each other like the typical index fingers touching each other that earthlings did when they were shy or nervous about a situation. His step also was much more slower and he was so nervous that he just stopped in place as he started to croak. Ryugan took notice and raised a brow.

Ryugan: “Joker what the hell are you doing?”

Joker: “ I got some bad news. They plan to nuke this place..”

Ryugan: “Nuke, what the heck you talking about?!”

Aoi: “it’s code 99, when a high ranking official wants to get rid of an arcosian empire outpost. All they have to do is ask command to nuke it from space. It’s a last ditch effort that we do when we don’t want crucial information to get out. The time limit for these things takes about ten minutes. If we don’t find the device soon, we may get caught in the explosion. Base on the gravity of the situation, they could either just nuke the building or the entire planet. My guess would just be the building but who knows what else is on this planet.”

Ryugan: “then we should truly get the heck out of here and rush through this then! Everyone split up! Gira, we are looking for a purple metallic device with a green gem inside. And everyone break!”

All of them started to fly in separate directions, checking cell by cell, checking room by room. It got to a point where they were beating up giants along the way and expending so much ki energy that they were doing a job that would normally take an hour or so to do, and condensing it to a much faster pace since they were all separated. Ryugan had finally made it to the last room and dripping with sweat as he found the metallic object that they were looking for. The scientists that were there had already been killed by the giant.

Ryugan would pick up the device and speak to his team via scouter.

Ryugan: “I got the device, now everyone fly out of here!”

They were done to one minute left…. What was about to happen..

The arcosian empire officer in the mothership had his arms behind his back as he spoke to one of his lesser ranked soldiers.

AEO: “any word from the scientists down below?”

AES: “communications are off sir. We tried contacting them several times to no avail.”

AEO: “they were probably killed by their experimentation giants. Nuke the place. I want no survivors.”

AES nodded and pressed the button. A 20ft by 50ft missile had fired from the mothership. The missile started to fire up and appearing like a shooting start except that it was heading in a downward fashion. The missile was strong enough to destroy the entire facility. No one could have survived it. The giants that remained were turned to burnt pieces of their former self.

AEO: “Send a platoon of men down there. We need the bodies of the scientists confirmed. If they had gone AWOL, I want to know about it.”

AES: “Yes sir!”

Ten AES soldiers had arrived to the planet in a arcosian empire transport vehicle that had over ten soldiers inside. All of them leaving the vehicle and searching the area. Aoi took notice of this and spoke to his team.

Aoi: “they are most likely looking for whoever sent orders to destroy the facility. They want to make sure that no one has gone AWOL, I have done this a few times in my career. It’s standard protocol.”

Ryugan paying attention to Aoi as he nodded.

Ryugan: “you guys want to go up there and destroy their mothership?”

Aoi: “most likely there is an arcosian high ranking officer there. If we did do this, the emperor would definitely be notified of such a deed.”

Ryugan: “what do you say Gira, you want to take out the bad guys?”

Ryugan and his crew changing their entire wardrobe to that of a mercenary approach with black metal armor that came with a helmet to cover their whole head.

Ryugan, Aoi, Joker, and Razer stealthily infiltrated the Arcosian Empire mothership, blending into the shadows. Ryugan, with his swift movements, signaled the team to move forward. Aoi’s tablet was done downloading the schematics of the ship that was given to him by tech who stayed back from the group. He was now hacking into the ship’s security systems, disabling cameras and alarms.

Joker, with his wide grin, created distractions using smoke bombs, diverting the attention of Arcosian soldiers. Razer, using his kunai knives that were laced with a sleeping toxin liquid, moved gracefully, swiftly neutralizing guards with precise strikes. The team moved like an elite squad, taking down soldiers silently.

As they progressed deeper into the mothership, Ryugan’s nose began to track the location of a nearby approaching patrol. He gestured for the team to hide, and with a synchronized effort, they ambushed the soldiers, rendering them unconscious. Aoi ensured that their entry went unnoticed by erasing any traces of their presence from the ship’s systems.

Together, the team pressed on, determined to reach the heart of the mothership and uncover the secrets hidden within the Arcosian Empire’s stronghold.

The team navigated through the labyrinthine corridors, encountering occasional resistance from Arcosian guards. Ryugan’s brute strength, Aoi’s hacking skills, Joker’s tactical distractions, and Razer’s kunais proved to be an unbeatable combination.

As they finally reached the bridge of the ship, the Arcosian leader looking at them and slowly raising his hand in a means to surrender.

AEL: “You didn’t kill my comrades, why?”

Ryugan: “take the escape pod and leave. Don’t make me ask twice.”

The arcosian leader agreed and immediately leaving the ship and getting onto the escape pod. Meanwhile, the rest of ryugan crew had gathered the arcosian soldiers and placing them also in escape pods and now the ship was empty with just his crew and Gira.

Ryugan: “we agreed with what you wanted Gira. But just be careful out there. Just because we were nice to them, doesn’t mean they will be nice to us in the future.”
