Sunshine, Lollipops, and Rainbows (Zuqetta)

    A concerned hum echoed from deep within Jinichi's throat at Zuqetta's comments on four hours of sleep being, in any set of circumstances, long. The last time he checked, it was recommended for any growing boy or girl to get at the very least eight to potentially even ten hours of sleep, and seeing as Zuqetta was still at least a few years younger than himself, it went without question that her body most likely needed much more than what she was giving it. Was that why she happened to be the height that she was currently...?

    Either way, it was still an area of great concern for the worried warrior. A lack of adequate sleep coupled with potentially debilitating combat damage most likely equaled a daily contention with pain and hardship for the Pink Nova. How much longer would Zuqetta be able to go if she kept up like this? How long had she been managing this sorry state of affairs in the first place?

    All were valid questions that Jinich wasn't even sure if he'd get answers to. Zuqetta didn't seem the type to let loose such sensitive information all that easily, and something told him that her revealing the mercilessly marred menagerie of injuries that laid underneath that jubilant demeanor was as far as he was likely going to get in regard to getting her to open up. But at the very least, if he couldn't get her to speak her truest feelings on the issue, Jinichi could speak- er, write- his own thoughts on the matter himself.

    So, with a whimsical flick of his right wrist, Jinichi quickly wrote down a few statements of his own, placing them in front of Zuqetta with a stern yet ever-caring look upon his model-like features which now read, 'Ms. Zuqetta, I request that you seriously give a bit of thought to some rest and relaxation in the coming days. If you refuse to allow yourself to go to any form of medical professional to help with your injuries, then I can't with good conscience leave you to your lonesome without the promise of allowing yourself to catch a breather.'

    'You're a wonderful presence, Ms. Zuqetta- and an even more powerful one at that. But even the strong need their rest at times. No one can be strong all the time.'
    
    It took all of the nonverbal ninja's willpower to be as bold as he was through even just written words on a page. He wasn't used to trying to impose some line of thinking on anyone else, as he was usually used to having to defend against that very thing being done to him instead. But for this particular case, when it came to the life of someone who cared about potentially being on the line, Jinichi was not taking any excuses.

    That was, until, Zuqetta dared to even jokingly insinuate much more sinister motives behind Jinichi's attempted care of her during her lapse in consciousness while within his company. His face immediately exploding like a flame into an assortment of various reds as he stammered in absolute disarray. It was all he could do to not just run away from the encounter entirely- a heavy sigh leaving his lips as Zuqetta assured him that she was only joking.

    'If anyone heard you, I could be taken to jail you know,' was all that Jinichi would elaborate with on that point before promptly moving on. His head tilting slightly in confusion at Zuqetta's next few set of statements. 

    'I carry the tent with me just in case I can't find lodgings for a particular night,' came the nonchalantly written reply from the silent shinobi, who was now working to disassemble the tent as they spoke. 'I originally came from Konats, but I moved when I was a child over to Earth. I'm only just now coming back, actually, so I don't really have a permanent place to stay anywhere. I'm sure I could find an apartment to stay at after ensuring you got back home to Lux safely. It really is no big trouble.'

    With that, Jinichi would continue to undo the tent that sat next to the two, humming a happy tune as he waited for Zuqetta's follow up response.

    As he watched the young woman's figure from the corner of his gaze amidst his undoing of the impromptu encampment before the two, a small, nearly inaudible sigh began to leave his lips at the sight of her crumpling posture. He didn't mean to come off as too bold or brash in his momentary chastising of the well-meaning Saiyan woman, but if no one else was bound to warn her of the path that she was going down, who else would?

    Once the main portion of the tent material had been rolled up and put away into his seemingly magical picnic basket (magic, considering the sheer amount of items of varying sizes and shapes that he was able to fit in there without fail), Jinichi would reach for his notebook to write some uplifting words when all the sudden he realized- he did not have his notebook on him!

    Panicking, his face showcasing a grimace of heightened horror, Jinichi immediately dug both of his hands into the sands around him. Worriedly whipping away a near mountainous amount of sand in his wake before a curious sight from Zuqetta caught his frenzied attention. Focusing his gaze onto her, Jinichi realized that she had exactly what he was looking for- that being his beloved notebook.

    Head tilting in apparent curiosity, Jinichi read what the young woman had written down for him, eyebrows widening further at the proposition that Zuqetta was suggesting to him through written word. Him? Stay with her? Over in Lux? With, presumably, a whole other group of people whose intentions and presences he doesn't even know?

    The thought sent chords of unsureness and worry down his spine. Would the company that Zuqetta kept even be okay harboring just some random individual she had come to meet while on the beach? Or is it like an "on sight" type of thing with those people? Jinichi chose to be by himself today to avoid the messy unpredictability that came with having to interact with other people, and now he was potentially going to have to deal with the motherload of it?!

    But, as Jinichi continued to stare at the forlorn figure of the frail-looking fighter before him, the nonverbal ninja found it increasingly more difficult to say no. After all, he did say that he couldn't on good conscience allow her to be alone if she still refused to get herself proper care, no?

    So, taking a deep breath, Jinichi gently took his notebook back from Zuqetta, staring at the written request for a little while longer before writing a singular check mark across the page. Nodding at the young woman as a form of further confirmation, Jinichi hoisted up his picnic basket onto his shoulder, gesturing back toward whence they came as he flashed her a simple smile.

    Zuqetta was his friend, after all. He wasn't going to give up that easily.
