CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS
APPEARANCE:
Onoma is 6'8"/207.3cm. He is a muscular red Namekian with white plastrons that have deep purple outlines, he also has several extra plastrons outside of the norm for a Namekian— such on the lower portions of his neck, plus his neck is also slightly longer than average and he has a large slug-like tail. He has incredibly sharp teeth, purple trim edges around his pointed ears and green eyes with yellow pupils, and the lower outer edges of his face by his eyes seem to have some sort of birthmark. Onoma also sports several antennae across his head from front to back that start red at the base and more purple towards the tips— this array of antennae is linked with a white webbing that gives the illusion of a fringe and mohawk sort of hairstyle. His forearms have fin-like protrusions on the side, his nails are black and sharp, he also can cause them to protrude slightly as well as retract.
As far as clothing goes, Onoma sports a rather simplistic outfit. He wears an open dark red vest with mauve outline trim, with a wavy cape attached that has a gradient to it. He also wears purposefully and stylistically battered dark red shorts with a mauve gradient interior, a faded orange sash and dark red pointed boots with mauve straps to match the rest of his outfit.
Onoma also wields a magical transforming weapon; which can take multiple forms— namely a sword and a scythe. In either case, the weapon is a bright red and dark purple along the blade, the handles are nearly black, and a portion of the primary guard is a dull gold, and the base of either form sports a menacing orange and black eye-like motif.

BACKGROUND:
There is a legend not often told, even less so remembered by the denizens of Namek. This tale tells of a secretive clan of Namekians that live in the sky, said to have created some ancient structures on the land below before departing into self imposed seclusion. While unknown to the surface ever since, now thought of as nothing but a myth, one of the hidden structures created by them depicted four eggs each of a different colour. Blue, purple, orange and red.
These four eggs had a prophecy attached, but the truth behind them has been muddied with eons of misinterpretation and half-told stories, leading to some superstitions and supposed talk of omens.
There would be no active sign of the skyborne clan of Namekians since their departure... Until a disaster had struck their hidden lands, an unexpected flux of magic forces from an incoming meteorite had burned through just enough of the hidden land’s protection. This caused a localized form of earthquake that rattled a sacred chamber that housed the four eggs of prophecy. As a result, the red egg in particular was dislodged from its suspended animation spell, falling from the sky encased in a portion of the temple that once housed it.
Once it lands, It is found by a small group of about fifty Namekians that had recently formed a village of their own. The age old story of the red egg being part of a dark omen surfaces once more, the group of Namekians are divided on what to do; and keep bickering and badgering each other until it hatches into a little Namekian as red as the egg from which he was born.
This red Namekian would come to be known as Onoma; a name he knew was his in his heart of hearts somehow. A few members of this small village want to at least give him a chance and manage to convince the others to back off for now but nobody takes responsibility for Onoma directly due to the ingrained fears they have.
The ones that are particularly dead set on Onoma being some vile scourge despite only just being born aren’t happy about the boy being around them, they want to orchestrate a plot to get rid of what they deem a threat... If they have to go through other Namekians in one way or another? That’s fine, they don’t care
Onoma grows up reasonably ok even if he’s barely raised by anyone— he’s optimistic but the omen stuff is still there and impacting on his psyche slowly but surely, he doesn’t feel like he is really friends with anyone despite doing his best to be good.
More years pass, and things are reasonably ok if not consistently tense. That is, until those that want Onoma chased off or dead suddenly make a decisive strike; they end the few sympathetic ones (that weren’t already dead or subtly assassinated) and almost kill Onoma until he is pushed into a corner.
Onoma flies into a blind furious rage, unleashing his power that he was supposedly feared for and beats back the ones that want to end him, they claim that they were right and that he is in fact a monster, he couldn’t prove that he was anything else as he never made a single friend that cared about him. They were right in a sense. He didn’t manage to do any of that. However, in the same vein, nobody else really bothered to reach out to him either as far as he knew.
Finally breaking, Onoma decides that if they wanted a monster so badly? Fine, they would get one.
Onoma massacres them all with a final push of his wrath and anguish. Sitting in the disintegrated crater that was once a village, Onoma had no idea what to do next. He thinks about what little teachings he did overhear or sneak for himself, trying to reach some philosophical epiphany despite lack of proper education at his age.
This results in him coming to a flawed conclusion. If being nice didn’t get anyone’s attention, care or shows of friendship then what could he do? How would he find truly good people? He could use the omen he was branded as like a weapon. Continue to be the monster. Draw someone good natured to him by being the worst he could possibly be— only the real moral paragons and unflinchingly kind hearted would step in, stop him, save him from himself, save him from the monster. Only then would he know what a truly good person was like— and he needed the best of the best.
So, he needed to be the worst of the worst.

TECHNIQUES:
|| Offense || Light || Violent EdgeADDITIONAL NOTES: I’d like to rename the starting transformation to Crimson please and thanks!
Onoma suddenly lashes out with a spiked burst of red energy, a wild close range attack or swing of his weapons.
Power: 20%
KP Cost: 1 KP
Variants: N/A
|| Defense || Light || Brutal Force
Onoma empowers his body with red energy, causing his general defenses to rise with little effort as he pushes through attacks sent his way.
Power: 20%
KP Cost: 1 KP
Variants: N/A
|| Defense || Light || Killer Vocals
Onoma quickly breathes in, collecting a sizable amount of energy before he unleashes it all with a mighty scream that pushes his surroundings away from him, followed by him cackling as jolts of red and black energy disrupts a single attack sent his way.
Power: 60%
KP Cost: 2 KP
Variants: Evasive
[10k PL] || Offense || Medium || Prime Death Driver
Between his palms, Onoma forms a jagged ring of deep red energy that has spikes on the inside and outside as well, and it sparks with aggressive dark electricity. He then throws it at his target, with it threatening to slash and stab at them before exploding violently.
Power: 60%
KP Cost: 3 KP
Variants: N/A
[20k PL] || Defense || Medium || Eternal Tormentors
Onoma conjures several deep red spectral versions of himself with exaggeratedly devilish and menacing features that swirl and levitate around him as they cackle maliciously. These copies stick close to their caster and fend off attacks made against him without any input required from him.
Power: 60%
KP Cost: 4 KP
Variants: Sustained
[30k PL] || Offense || Heavy|| Bloodcurdling Murder Grenade
Onoma holds his hand out and charges a sharp pulsating red energy sphere which he then throws that erupts into a violent shrieking pillar of lacerating ki when it hits the ground or an enemy. Should this technique deal a sufficient amount of damage initially, the target is then assaulted by screaming sparks of red energy for a while.
Power: 100%
KP Cost: 6 KP
Variants: Bleed
[40k PL] || Defense || Heavy || Vitriolic Reproach
Onoma ignites his blood red aura and shapes it into a large ball with a sharp snapping maw that is designed to greedily consume an incoming attack before condensing into a smaller energy sphere if it has any power remaining. The remaining energy can then be used as a form of attack, where it is thrown and violently explodes with an otherworldly cackle when coming into contact with an opponent.
Power: 100%
KP Cost: 6 KP
Variants: Reflective
|| Defense || Medium Sparking || Defiant Outrage → Maddening Persistence
Defiance. Persistence. Onoma embodies both words beyond reasonable measure at the best of times, and the worst of times. Fueled by the events of his past, Onoma brings forth a strong and bold wave of energy from deep within— a swirling frenzied torrent of incandescent power dances around him until it condenses into a semi-translucent black and red shell around his body while still allowing full articulation and movement. If this technique of his is somehow broken, the lingering fire of madness permeates through the Namekian, causing his defensive prowess to increase. Additionally, if this technique somehow remains unbroken, the remaining energy activates some healing factor in Onoma.
Power: 60%
KP Cost: 3 KP
Variants: Heavy Metal, Mending
Utility Technique || Soaring Phantom
Through a skilled and practiced application of his ki or otherwise available means, Onoma is able to fly through the air. This technique is passive and does not use KP.
Utility Technique || Devil’s Observation
Onoma is able to sense, measure, and differentiate the ki signatures of ki attacks and all living beings without the Anti-Sense trait. Higher ki signatures are easier to sense and can be sensed at greater distances than lower ones. This technique is passive and does not use KP.
Utility Technique || Fiendish Resilience
While able to regenerate entire parts of the body and undo wounds like any Namekian, Onoma can also, with considerable effort, restore parts of his body that have been cut off or damaged by spreading the results of a wound out through his body as a form of equivalent exchange so as to remain in better fighting form. This does not ignore mechanical instances of damage, and only provides narrative flavor. This technique is passive and does not use KP.
Utility Technique || Malefic Evolution
Onoma has the ability to alter his body in strange and unexpected or shocking ways, usually to some bombastic, aggressive or violent effect. This grants him the ability to shapeshift in various ways partial or otherwise. In particular, this technique seems to be a form of controlled mutation that expands on Namekian physiology and their regenerative process. This technique is passive and does not use KP.
Utility Technique || Malefic Evolution: Revenant Gore
Expanding on his ability to alter his shape, Onoma can also exert control over his blood even when it is outside of his body as well as any lost parts of his body (such as limbs); allowing him to alter the forms of said things to his benefit in the same way that he would change his own shape, in doing so turning even losses into weapons in a fight. This technique is passive and does not use KP.
Utility Technique || Will of the Sinister Sword
Onoma is in possession of a rather interesting and unique transforming weapon— it can change from sword to scythe and vice versa— that he has attuned himself to. This attunement allows him to immediately summon it into his hands in a flash of ominous light as well as dispel it in the same manner.
Utility Technique || Will of the Sinister Sword: Grim Reflection
In addition to summoning his transforming weapon, Onoma can imbue it with energy in order to create a copy of it as if it was reflected by an unseen mirror. This also allows him to bind the two instances of the weapon together to either create a double ended sword or dual-headed scythe!
Utility Technique || Lux Mortis: Dead Light
Onoma has the ability to control existing ‘Holy’ energy expressed as the element of light, as well as generate it through force of will. The creation and control of light is something that Onoma has known to do from birth, but he has intentionally twisted it to seem far more malicious than one would expect. Using this technique on holy energies or light conjured by, or otherwise under control of another player requires OOC consent. This technique is passive and does not use KP.
