CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS
APPEARANCE: Khorasan stands at a meager five feet, eight inches tall. He is relatively muscular though through his regular clothing it doesn't stand out much. He usually dons the traditional garb of the Cerealian people, though he has a wide wardrobe fit for a number of different purposes, and will often wear the clothing of whatever planet he is on when it can fit his body type.
BACKGROUND: Look to the stars. That's what Khorasan told himself growing up aboard the Interceptor, which was a Cerealian battleship turned makeshift home for the young boy and his family. His parents did not often speak upon where they had come from, as the battles were too painful to recall, but Khorasan knew that he would never again see the world that he was born on. Instead his family moved from planet to planet, picking up jobs wherever they could.
What really frustrated him was the fact that they refused to settle down, always feeling the need to pick up and go again whenever Khorasan was just starting to feel at home. And so the boy decided that the stars would be his home, and within just a few years it would be Khorasan himself flying the Interceptor while his parents did their jobs down below, furthering the family business.
A few years after that and Khorasan would come to learn just what the family business was, and why they had to move so often. His parents were smugglers, and moved whatever goods they could get a hold of. They mostly ferried drugs and weapons from one party to another, though on occasion they even engaged in slavery, telling their young son that they were simply giving others passage.
That was when Khorasan's entrance into the world of crime began. He was a simple getaway man until his parents met their maker, finally coming face to face with the law and coming out on the losing side. Khorasan took over the family business from there on out, and narrowly avoided being captured himself a few times over. He made a decent living doing what he did, but there were plenty of enemies made along the way, and just as he had as a boy Khorasan kept looking to the stars, wanting even more.
Around that time was when Khorasan came into contact with the Arcosian Empire, who would soon become one of his biggest pains to deal with. The Cerealian first got on their watchlist after stealing a shipment of weapons meant for a newly integrated world so that he could sell them to a group of pirates instead. From what he heard the natives were able to overpower their new overlords and win their independence which the Arcosians were none to happy about.
Things got worst when he starting selling Distortanol to imperial soldiers; not only did it fetch a nice price, but he also tracked down where the soldiers were stationed after making the sales. From there he could either hit the place himself or sell that info on to others. When things got too hot for him Khorasan took a little vacation down to Earth to let things cool off, and in that down time he got to thinking: if he could trade in weapons and drugs, why not planets too?
So that's how it began: Cerealian Enterprises, or CENT for short. Khorasan set the business up on Earth as a legitimate front to help cover up his other nefarious dealings, while creating the personality Mr. Rye to help cover up his past. As of right now he has one goal in mind: expansion.
