Dr Elrem was truly exhausted of his work with Mechacong but it had paid off. After having worked on him for weeks, he finally completed the transfusion.
"Finally!"
Mechacong had a fully updated body, replacing the need of oil to drink to not needing it at all. The process was definitely tiring but it was worth it in the end. As he sat down in his laboratory in his office chair he looked to the ceiling and wished that he was an android somedays due to them not needing to sleep or eat. Having space chinese did make it worth being an organic being though. Munching down on it, he loved the flavor and taste that touched his tongue. After he was done eating, his screen had popped up out of nowhere. Perhaps there was a glitch on the ship since the remote was right next to him on the table. A planet was shown...
"Computer... identify that planet."
"Error, detection, worm hole."
Confused, he stood up from his chair.
"COMPUTER! IDENTIFY THE PLANET ON SCREEN!"
"Error, detection, worm hole."
Before he could make any sudden noises, the worm hole that now glitched out from looking like a planet had sucked his ship into it. Traveling light years away from his previous destination. His ship was a complete mess, his engine was damaged and his ship was now crashing landing on an unknown planet. Upon landing and rubbing his head as he got up, he spoke to his computer.
"Computer, identify the planet I just landed on."
"Detection, you have arrived on Planet Plant."
"Wha...."
Stepping out of the ship, he looked at Planet Plant, covered in forest and trees, beautiful wildlife. Just where the hell was he at...
Meitr had decided to throw his lost in with Dr. Elrem. It had been quite some time since he had been apart of something, and having the additional help was only practical. The good doctor was a far cry from his cadre of fanatical mages, but beggars could not be choosers. And it wasn't as though Dr. Elrem was useless. He was a brilliant scientist, capable of creating life from a small amount of organic material and some circuitry. It was quite crude compared to what Meitr viewed as the more advanced art of Necromancy, but the results could not be denied. Having spent time with Mechacong, he was quite convincing as a normal human. He didn't even have his soul at that! To be able to make a creature with a personality so authentic with only what essentially amounted to little more than mere scraps of his brain to work with... there was something there that Meitr viewed as worthy of his attention and time. In his mind, Mechacong lent credence to the old saying that necessity was the mother of invention. Without magic, the good doctor had to make do with what he had, and completed a scientific marvel in the process. However, his ship appeared to be... not as well-designed. Meitr had just finished his daily two minute nap when he awoke to Dr. Elrem messing with his ship's computer. He looked up to Excalibur, who had been watching over the Sage during his brief sleep.
The Majin bowed respectfully, to which Meitr acknowledged him with a nod before setting his sights back on the doctor just in time to be knocked to the ground by the impact. Thankfully, Excalibur was ready, stretching his body out and enveloping the sage in his rubbery flesh to protect him from the impact. When all had calmed down and Meitr was safely back on his feet, he spoke.
"Now, what?" He walked out with the doctor, hearing the computer say they were on Planet Plant.
"Are you sure that thing didn't get dinged up in the crash? I've been to Plant before to collect Saiyan DNA samples and... it's a lot more green than I remember." He hadn't been here in almost a century, but surely terraforming technology did not advance so much as to accomplish something like this in such a short amount of time.
A technological advanced soldier had arrived, pointing his rifle at Dr Elrem.
“State your business on planet Blant.”
“Wha”
Before the soldier could hit him with his rifle, Mechacong had arrived and grabbing a hold of the man’s neck and lifting him up in the air.
“You will regret this.”
Mechacong slamming the man to the ground and then pining him against the ground with his foot.
“Tell us everything about this planet.”
The futuristic soldier spoke up.
“You are on a futuristic type of planet. We got rid of the barbaric individuals like yourself. The missiles we created were able to get rid of folks like you. All power no brains.”
Dr Elrem looking at the man.
“My planet, Plant. We are suffering a crises of our own. We have barbaric individuals called the saiyans. We have created a destron gas that destroys the environment and gets rid of the brutes.”
The soldier listened and responded back.
“Once our missiles destroyed them and the environment. We were able to terraform and conquer them. They are now our slaves. We did what you guys couldn’t.”
Elrem tapping Mechacong, he would let go of the man and the soldier rising to his feet.
“I can take you to our leader. If we can help other civilizations like ours to kill the brutes. Then it’s one less power struggle to deal with.”
Meitr showed no fear as a soldier arrived, clad in tech that was quite advanced compared to what he was used to. He immediately called upon his grimoire, summoning his ghostly blue quill and sketching out the soldier, his weapon, his body armor, and a few initial thoughts about where they could possibly be and what the technology looked like there. Even as Mechacong took steps to protect them, Meitr continued to mumble to himself, looking over the fresh, photograph quality sketch. For his part, Excalibur imposed himself between the soldier and his master. He was beginning to understand his role as a guardian quite well at this point. His master was easily distracted from danger, and fear was a thing that was entirely foreign to him. Fear, however, sometimes keeps people alive. Since the Grand Sage had no such emotion, it was up to Excalibur to identify threats and respond to them so his master could single-mindedly focus on his research. Once the altercation had finished, the soldier had offered to take them to his leader so that Dr. Elrem could describe the finer points of Destron gas.
"Lovely! I was wanting to have a better look around. Your leader may be able to answer some of my questions as well." This was all very strange. Planet Blant? Futuristic soldiers taking out a barbaric race? This was all sounding oddly familiar...
The soldier had taken them straight to the ruler of this planet. A futuristic armor looking man that was lean and slender. He didn’t appear strong at all but he did have a giant size rifle on his back that spoke volumes of the strength he did possess. The leader had raised a brow, his brown slick back hair could be seen from afar and his futuristic shades over his eyes revealed just how advance they were. He knew they were on the planet before they even realized.
“Welcome foreigners. I have learned that you guys are having the same problem that we once had. Brute strength Barbarians? What race are they?”
Dr Elrem looking around, this palace appeared more chrome like than the outside world.
“They are called saiyans. Very powerful beings that now can go super Saiyan.”
“Saiyans? We have never heard of them all the way out there. So I hear you guys have a deadly device known as destron gas was it? Very interesting indeed. Our missiles did the same thing as your gas. I guess we just had more of our devices compared to yours and were able to win? I don’t really know.”
Elrem had chipped in, adding more.
“I do have a question for you. How were you able to terraform the planet? Such technology would take a long time to make? Also, how did the barbarians of this planet surrender?”
The futuristic leader chuckled, as he whistled in one of the Barbaric slaves. Coming in was a static 10ft size Zerchian. They were a species known to be bald with a giant size beard. He was chained up and his voice box was sealed.
“The zerchs don’t speak anymore. We made sure of it. We were able to terraform so quickly because a wizard was able to help us during the crisis. We agreed to share the planet with them, they own half of it. In exchange, we got the terraform technology and was able to rebuild after we fired the one hundred missiles to the Zerchian city. Oh they surrendered when they noticed that more than half their population were killed in an instant. They had a choice, face extinction or join us.”
This was very interesting information to get and Dr Elrem had appreciated it.
