Zuci seemed to be 100% positive that Gira would get her ass handed to her in a one on one fight. Cabasa wasn't so sure about that for, while it was true that Zuci currently had a slight edge in her energy signature, it was nothing more than that: A slight edge. Many more things needed to be accounted for in a fight, included but not limited to one's resolve and tactical spirit. While Cabasa had no doubts that both of the Saiyans' will was stronger than steel, she was unsure if Zuci could outwit Gira in a fight. After all, it is the Earth Saiyan who delivered a crucial blow at the coronation by aiming for Zuci's tail. The same trick probably wouldn't work twice, though.
"I enjoy fighting and hunting." Cabasa answered curtly, feeling ashamed that she didn't know about half the stuff that Gira was prattling about. Cabasa knew very little about music -the only taste she ever had of it was the distant echo of what played at the coronation while the three of them were busy fighting- so all those details about video games were totally lost to her mind. "Kaci? Is she a Earthling?" That was the logical presumption given Gira's upbringing. "I do not know about that video game of yours - it sounds like a waste of time." Knowing better than to be an absolute party pooper, however, Cabasa was willing to make a compromise. "This being said, I'd be willing to try it during our post-sparring convalescence. As long as it doesn't interfere with the training, I don't see the harm in it..."
Cabasa was actually quite knowledgeable about Saibas, or at least she was for an outsider given that the very first thing that happened to her when she arrived on Plant was to get jumped by a bunch of them. "AH! These Saibas are not worth the hassle, Gira. They were my reception committee when I landed and I quickly got rid of their group with a single attack - unless you want to lower yourself to their level, don't bother." This is when she remembered about that Zukkah guy who was quite livid at Cabasa for culling his food supply into nothingness. "The brawling hole sounds more interesting. I'd rather face opponents with more wits than pack animals who scamper away at the first setback."
Apparently, Zuci's ally was a female, which immediately removed Nasu from the equation. A shame, but Cabasa wouldn't be one to wallow about it. "No need to disclose her identity. Still, it is funny that she's a good-natured Saiyan as well. How many does that make? Zhalla, Nero, Nasu, and your unnamed ally - that is four against Lottus. Mhhhh..." Cabasa wasn't sure she could trust Zuci with what she was about to reveal and she wasn't certain that Gira was aware of it, but she decided to go against her better judgment and spill the beans.
"My visit on Plant actually serves a double purpose: Yes, I seek to strengthen myself by facing worthy warriors, but I also act as a scouting force to assert our foes prior to the invasion. Indeed, Gandigan saw the Saiyans as a threat that needs to be castrated by taking down the old generation - the Super Saiyans like Lottus, Nasu, and probably your ally- and neutering the leftovers with a puppet ruler." Cabasa sighed, pinching the location where the bridge of her nose should have been. "After seeing the squalid, war-torn quagmire that Plant is and meeting some of these so-called <<Evil Super Saiyans>>, I do not believe in my king's vision anymore. Yes, Lottus is a filth on the galaxy that needs to be shred to pieces, but what Saiyans truly need is to acknowledge each other and their Tuffle neighbors to work toward a better future. Call me sappy or whatever, but all that I see are the scraps of a once proud warrior culture; I think I've seen more drunkards punching each other than well-drilled, planet conquering soldiers."
With this out of her chest, Cabasa let Gira and Zuci know about her thoughts. "What do you think, Gira? Beings like Cello and yourself might see that this is misguided madness, but I fear that the likes of Maxsuz and Marimba will refuse to change their stance. I've grown a lot since I joined the Mazokus and I know that my true allegiance is for Mother Namek; starting an interplanetary conflict will weaken both our worlds, potentially inviting ambitious predators to gorge on what is left. Even though I like the thrill of battle and the sound of snapping bones, I want my fights to involve none other than myself and the person receiving my punches." Was she straying too far away from the beaten path of the Mazokus? Perhaps, but she'd rather be her own person than the thrall of a ruler she never really connected or agreed with.
