CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS
APPEARANCE -
BACKGROUND: The Shisenshi, a warrior race a dime a dozen, were unremarkable for much of their history. Humanoids who engaged in petty warfare and mercenary work, who led short, bloody lives of perpetual violence. They had a semblance of society - other jobs, pastimes, love. What made the Shisenshi special was not their potential, expansion, or regular lives.
Sitri's story unfolded against the backdrop of a world far, far away, dominated by Heralds, a formidable group of Shisenshi warriors that had transcended mortality through dark rituals and forbidden pacts. These Heralds, led by the former outcast King Eligor, had become despots who ruled the planet with an iron fist.
Shi-Ryoma, a downtrodden, hopeless, bitter warrior, sought escape from the harsh realities of his world. To die with honor, he decided to undertake the Trials of Undeath - a series of grueling tasks that tested mind, body, and soul to see if they were worthy of joining the Herald's ranks. Few survived. Berith, a powerful Herald, recognized the despair in Shi-Ryoma's heart and elected to covertly push him through the torturous trials instead of granting him the release he sought.
Under Berith's shadowy guidance and recommendation to the Heralds, Shi-Ryoma passed. His body was infused with eerie blue energy, skin turned pallid, and his heartbeat stilled. Emerging as Sitri, he became a perfect weapon, an extension of Berith's will. Gifted with Valac as a pactweapon, Sitri was assigned a unique task - to traverse the cosmos and sow chaos and death wherever he went, to his own discretion. His training had molded the forlorn warrior into a harbinger of entropy, an instrument of death's expansion beyond the Heralds' homeworld.
So he went. Tearing through the stars, leaving a trail of despair and destruction in his wake. The cosmos stood on the precipice of upheaval, and Sitri, now an enigmatic agent of doom, moved with calculated purpose: spread entropy, and ally himself with the forces of change that plagued this part of the galaxy.

>> VAMPIRIC: While not as potent as that of a true Demon, a Herald's connection with death allows them to siphon energy from a victim's soul when injured. *Once per thread, you may designate a Standard Attack as ‘Vampiric.’ If this attack deals any damage, you choose to recover 1 KP or 10% HP.
>> RELENTLESS (IMPOSSIBLE RECOVERY): The dead never tire. Much like the fabled 'endless energy' of Androids, a Herald will never cease unless slain. *You only suffer -75% HP when wounded instead of -100% HP. Once per thread you may use Second Wind even if you have already transformed.

THANOLOGY || UTILITY
Sitri is capable of gleaning an individual's connection with death, parsing both how much they have killed AND if they have died before. (Requires OOC Permission to work on Player Characters.)

Allows use of telepathic communication between nearby or familiar characters on the same planet as yourself, letting you and your friends always converse internally. This technique is passive and does not require KP.
GALACTIC TELEPATHY || UTILITY
Allows use of telepathic communication between nearby or familiar characters in the same dimension as yourself, letting you and your friends always converse internally. You must have Planetary Telepathy before applying for Galactic Telepathy. This technique is passive and does not require KP.
ENERGY SENSING || UTILITY
A technique that allows you to sense, measure, and differentiate the ki signatures of ki attacks and all living beings without the Anti-Sense trait. Higher ki signatures are easier to sense and can be sensed at greater distances than lower ones. This technique is passive and does not use KP.
ENERGY SUPPRESSION || UTILITY
Skilled control over your ki allows you to suppress your Power Level to a minimum of 1 PL to either hide or use this lower PL to fight characters weaker than your full strength on even footing. This technique is passive and does not require KP use.
FLIGHT || UTILITY
By some means, usually through a skillful application of your ki, you are able to fly through the air.
SKINWALK || UTILITY
Sitri is capable of taking on the guise of someone he or Valac have killed in the past, copying their appearance, voice, and any physical quirks - but NOT gaining memories or knowledge. Valac remains unchanged, and this requires OOC consent to work for player characters.
DEATHMASK || UTILITY
Sitri is capable of warping his energy signature to feel completely different; most applicable and effective when combined with Skinwalk to create a firm illusion that he is who he is disguised as.
ALACRITY || UTILITY
If he can sense their energy and has already utilized Thanology on them, Sitri is capable of gleaning the relative morality of someone. 'Good' implying an active effort to protect or save others for non-selfish reasons or improving the universe, 'Evil' implying the opposite, and 'Neutral' meaning no strong impulse in one direction or the other. Requires OOC consent.
AURA OF HATRED || UTILITY
Sitri can raise the corpses of lesser beings. These take the form of cyan smoke-infected bodies with glowing red eyes. These undead are no more powerful than they were when slain, and once defeated again, cannot be raised. This does not affect the bodies soul. Cannot work on player characters without STRICT permission, and does not retain that PC's stats - acting as an NPC body.
MAGIC MATERIALIZATION || UTILITY
Characters with magical abilities can conjure objects or structures. Larger or more complicated things will take more energy and focus to create. This technique is passive and does not require KP.
CURSED CONTRACT || UTILITY
Sitri, with the full agreement and understanding of another being, can form short, binding 'contracts' with each other. These contracts must be simple in nature - I.E: "You will not betray us." When broken, Sitri is capable of inflicting crippling pain upon the other person, and will also receive a harmful backlash if he himself breaks any contracts. Requires OOC consent.
VISIONS OF LIFE || UTILITY
Sitri can shift his vision, turning to dark void with rough outlines in white of his surroundings. Any LIVING being shows up as a cluster of red smoke in the vague shape of their body.
