CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS
APPEARANCE: it's above.
BACKGROUND:
Chomei was born relatively well off, into a big family filled with many unique people. He'd always had big ambitions as a child, he was loud and boisterous, and had lots of energy. He became a real hassle for most of his family, constantly running off without telling anybody, and causing problems for everyone. He was a selfish brat for a large part of his adolescence, but all of that would soon change. One day, he'd get into a spat with a couple of delinquents, getting roughed up by them soon after. Chomei, not knowing when to shut up kept provoking them, which only escalated things.
Eventually, an aging monk showed up to ask that they stop, which they didnt. He once again warned them, and they persisted. The monk then exploded with anger, his ferocity almost resembling that of a dragon. After saving Chomei, the monk began to walk away. Chomei however, was mesmorized by what he'd seen that day, and being the selfish brat he was- he pestered the old man to teach him his "kung fu". Over and over, for days and days this went on. The man was initially very hesitant, but decided to give Chomei a chance.
Chomei was given one task, move the monk. Every day for one hour, the two would meet up, and with a mountain of weights upon Chomei, enough weights that they seemingly covered his whole body. He would then push against the monk with everything he'd had. If the Monk so much as budged, He would teach Chomei everything. This initially simple task ended up being almost impossible for Chomei, he could barely even support all the weight on his body. But Chomei was stubborn, he always had been- and so he continued. He figured that if he only ever wore the weights when he met up with the monk, he'd never get used to them, and so started wearing them all the time. It took nearly a month, but he eventually started to get a hang of it.
He could finally start pushing against the Monk with a decent amount of force, which the Monk noticed. The Monk immediately stopped Chomei, assigning him new and heavier weights; he was back at it once again. Another month passed, and the same happened, and then again... and again. 6 months of pain had passed, and Chomei had nothing to show for it. His selfishness shown through once more as he lambasted the Monk, calling him useless and a waste of his time.
The monk however responded simply, asking Chomei to "catch" as he threw a massive rock over at him. Chomei was offput by this, and threw his arms up to protect his face. To his amazement however, the rock simply shattered upon his skin. Slowly, the monk had been preparing Chomei's body for the immense strain that the Dragon Style would place upon him, without him ever realizing. His body had bulked up considerably, and his strength had reached near superhuman levels. Chomei immediately regretted his harsh words and apologized for them. The Monk simply laughed, for he knew he should be the one apologizing... as the years to come would be devastatingly more brutal for Chomei.
And so, many, many years passed. Chomei and his master stood face to face for the first time as equals. He had been taught everything there was to know- there was only one last thing to do... prove his strength. The two fought a long, fierce battle-but Chomei eventually emerged victor. The two sat in silence for a long time, Chomei had no desire to gloat- having matured a good under the discipline of his master. No longer was he the same brat from before, he was now a man. His master died soon after, his legacy finally secure within Chomei.
Chomei went on a journey for a while, challenging various dojos and visiting the world, but eventually he came back home. He was seemingly content with everything... but in his heart he knew he had one last thing to do. In order to be truly content, he had to prove his masters style to be the greatest- He had to become, the world's strongest. But for now, he was content... for now anyways.

COMBAT INFORMATION
[Style Origin]
"Long ago in time immemorial, a lone monk was wandering the world in search of enlightenment when he witnessed an unbelievable sight. A giant dragon appeared, it’s green scales filling the skies with a great slithering magnificence. He was overcome by sheer bewilderment, and though the dragon was around for only a brief moment- the memory of the great beast persisted in the man's mind forevermore. Filled with a great ambition, the monk attempted to replicate the power and magnificence that he had felt on that day. The result of the man’s effort was the Dragon Style"
[Style]
"Dragon Style uses mainly upper body strength, and refrains from too much lower body movement (Except during the exact moment of attack or defence, wherein it is used very briefly and quickly to counter, add momentum to a blow, or dodge). The secret to Dragon Style is in the heart and body. Training the heart allows one to increase their blood flow, allowing one’s muscles to perform at a higher capacity for brief periods of time. This is naturally very stressful to oneself, so Dragon Style cannot be used without also massively training the body to accommodate for this stress. Using the Dragon Style for extended periods of time causes a reddening of the skin and veins to bulge out"
Dragon Style uses grips, palm strikes, elbow strikes, parries, and knees to attack and defend.
It’s main philosophy is to strike powerfully, and use massive power to both defend and attack.
Medium Defensive || Form 1: The Winding Dragon
"When the dragon first appeared, its body turned and rotated through the air with a magnificent grace. It could seemingly blow anything away with but a small movement of its mighty body. The monk was able to perfect a variation of this, moving his body in such a way that he could even redirect an opponents attack back at them"Power: 50% (2tp)KP Cost: 4 KPVariants: Reflective (2tp)Medium Offensive || Form 2: The Dragon Rush"The dragons initial appearance caused carnage in all of the surrounding forest, knocking down trees with its mighty gusts of wind and causing tremors for miles and miles. The monk next attempted to replicate this, his goal being to cause gales and tremors as he moved. He started with a rush of attacks, every day the amount growing. Years passed, but before he'd even realized- his body had grown capable of producing these feats. Every swing fell a forest, every stomp... an earthquake. With a violent assault, he could utterly destroy anything in his path"Power: 70% (4tp)KP Cost: 4 KPVariants: N/ALight Offensive || Form 3: The Dragon Swipe"The monk recognized that not all situations would call for complete and absolute force, and so developed a weaker, less strenuous Dragon Rush- The Dragon Swipe. Using a rotating momentum, the user would strike downwards with considerable force, attempting to slam an opponent into the ground"Power: 40% (3tp)KP Cost: 2 KPVariants: N/ALight Offensive Sparking || ❂The First Dragon Fist❂"The first version of the final form. The Dragon Fist replicates the emergence of the Great Dragon, and the force it exerted as it broke through the atmosphere. This technique took a lifetime to perfect, but finally, on one fateful day- the ancient monk did it. With all his fighting spirit and all his power, the monk struck out at the sky, and from his fist emerged the godly aura of a Great Dragon. Legend has it that after finishing this technique, the Monk collapsed- his years of work finally over. He rested for the remainder of his life, passing this style on only to his son- who out of respective continued his fathers legacy... however, though he hadnt known it at the time, the monks work was left unfinished..."Power: 70% (6tp)KP Cost: 2 KP
MP Cost: 3 MPVariants: Piercing (2tp)Utility Technique || "Dragon Sense" (Ki Sense)"Chomei hightens his senses, his smell becoming more keen and his hearing focusing in on everything. His aura stretches out, feeling out his surroundings- and through this, he is able to tell where things are all around him"Utility Technique || "Flight of the Winged Serpent" (Flight)"Just as the ancient dragon flew effortlessly through the sky, Chomei harnesses his Dragon Style to kick at the air with such force that it propels him with unrivaled speed. It's really moreso jumping through the air than flying however"
