The First Sound (Open)

Sesame half listened to what Shakuhachi had to say. It seemed he was more focused on talking with Cello about politics. He had certainly now become the third wheel in this situation. Not that he minded. He was learning a lot about the political situation in Namek. For an Assassin, this was perfect. He could find exactly who would be beneficial. Anyway, what it was about playing his part, really made Cello angry. It was probably something about the reason they had to be the lower caste was because society had not moved forward. But if society didn’t move forward it was no excuse. To him Shakuhachi seemed like the worst type of people. Trying to claim to be good while he shoots his neighbor.

Of course in response Cello was fiery in his response. He was beyond enraged and went on a verbal assault, ripping into Shakuhachi. Sesame of course just listened, observed each point and just made a general idea of what was being said. Cello felt rightfully enraged that Shakuhachi seemed to support the idea that the Mazoku clan who apparently seemed to be more of an underground clan deserved their fate. At least that's what he got out of the situation. If he was trying to reach common ground with Cello all he did was build another wall. Now that power was changing, he wanted to talk. Sesame shook his head, he could understand Cello plight. But the way he spoke with such anger made him believe he had fallen to that. He had seen it many times before, those opposed instead of creating an equal society turned to oppress others as revenge. Regardless Sesame just watched the two talk, leaning against a pillar and looking at his nails. He had a good understanding of this planet now, so he didn't have much in the way of interest to listen.

Finally however, Shakuhachi spoke to him noting that those who were loyal to money were not loyal at all. What stopped someone like him from going to the otherside. Sesame looked at Shakuhachi as if annoying child had dumped ice cream. He quickly scrambled something on the piece of paper given to him by Cello and flipped it to show Shakuhachi and Cello. 'I'm an Assassin, not a hired gun. I do my contracts. I am not gonna take be bought off. Now, I might kill both the first and the now dying second person who hired me, but I won't turn around and kill the man who paid less.' was that a better answer to his question? Perhaps not. Point was Sesame would do his job till the end. Killing someone was not just about the money for him. Money was important but killing people was more important to him. It was just not morally acceptable for most to be a brutal killer. You end up dead that way.

Then it went to talk about political things again. Sesame went back to learning and listening to the two talk. Once again it had nothing to do with him so he just listened on nodding along to what they said. Shakuhachi seemed to want the two of them to work together but seem to believe the Mazoku place was deserved before? He doubted Cello would listen. Cello seemed to have the same thought, he didn't want to be tools for someone else whims. Him and the Mazoku seemed more in the department of shaping their own destiny. Finally though, the words seemed to be over as Cello aura flared to life. Cello pulled out a bag of gems and coins offering them Sesame it seemed. Guess he had a job for him to do. Sesame glanced giving a nod, hew as more then fine with doing a job for Cello. If it was required him to kill Shakuhachi before him, all the better. But for now it seemed to be more of an offer. Though that seemed to be based on if Shakuhachi decided to hang around the castle. Either way Sesame was not listening intently to the two to see what would happen. He had to be ready to jump in at a moment's notice.

He truly couldn’t believe the arrogance of this Dragon Clansmen. Did this sycophant truly believe the rhetoric he spewed? As he stated that Cello clearly didn’t understand how the politics of the situation worked – Cello found himself doing everything he could to contain his anger. How could this Namekian consider anything that he was saying an olive branch? Simply admitting that he would put on acts and didn’t truly care about those he spoke of was enough to show the hypocrisy for what it was – but the fact. It was becoming clear, the more he spoke, that this was nothing more than just another ploy to aide this one’s own individual desires.

“I’m wearing YOU thin? I think it is you who does not understand how this situation is working – Politics have already created the schisim between the Clans, and now you would use that very methodology for what? You say it would help me improve the relations of my clan and how they’re viewed – but at what cost? It is because I think of the young, and the old. The infirm and the unable that I hesitate to help you…for your words clearly dictate your truth…”

At the threat of causing harm to those in his charge – Cello’s rage would suddenly boil over; There was to be no common ground here. This one was far too up his own posterior to see facts before him. Blind and Deaf to all that was fact to see only the rhetoric and propaganda he spewed. He’d bark back;

“- You will lay not a finger on my clansmen. Do not mistake my patience for weakness – Shakuhachi. You can say what you will but your truth is a phallacy. You say it was my people who brought this upon them? No – it was your clan who ran us into these plains like animals because we wouldn’t adhere to your doctrine. Because our only crime was to seek knowledge not common to the Dragon Clan, to understand the side of Porunga that you all dare not admit exists…It is you who has not seen the real world. In one thing, we agree…”

Cello would step back, his aura flaring still;

“Namek will survive – no matter what. But our biggest threat is not the enemies from off our shores. Our biggest threat is not creatures from the stars, but the one standing before me. You. You are the biggest threat to the survival of the Namekian People – Shakhachi…” The Mazoku would taunt him further, indicating how little his presence and his threats meant to him. Truly discrediting and devaluing the Dragon’s words as if he was all bluster and no substance.

“You who would damn one such as Tabor for leaving our planet, when you would do the same in secret. Do not think your departures from this world have gone un-noticed – tyrant. My senses miss nothing – Ive felt you leave our world for the stars, and yet you would have the nerve to attack another for the same actions? Your hypocrisy knows no end…”

Standing next to Seasame, Cello would give his final words to the other.

“Now let me make myself Clear, Shakuhachi. Namek requires unity to survive against any and all threats – but the sort of situation you propose and even hint towards indicates that when our usefulness to Namek is complete – you would dispose of my clan and or enslave them as your ancestors of old had attempted in the shadows. We will not be made servants of another ever again…and while I think you may have misinterpreted my situation let me be blunt. When you figure out how to lead people correctly, I’ll be here to chat. Until then – Leave this Castle now and cease your prattling. You’re making what would be a momentus occasion with Seasame here, acknowledgement of the Demon Realm, sour by your presence. Ive no doubt you can defend yourself, Dragon…but I don’t think you can deal with a fight in lands such as mine. You’re clearly outnumbered in this situation and you’ve made our interaction sour. Now – Do the right thing for yourself. Go.”

He would turn to Seasame and in that instant, ignore Shakuhachi’s presence as if he was no longer there. He would blow his head in apology as he stated;

“I’m sorry you’ve had to sit here and deal with all of this rhetoric my Pink friend. You’ve come at a most inopportune time for my Clan -but perhaps our misfortune can be your reward. If you’ve time, and desire, I would speak more with you at length. Describe our situation further and maybe find a use for your amazing talents…if you’d be so inclined. As you can see…my people, do not have many friends here on our own homeworld. Not that he would let us be considered Namekians…”

He would scoff at the others words but say nothing more to him. If Shakuhachi wanted to be heard further, he was going to have to force the issue…and that might not end well for him.

Shakuhachi finally decided to leave. He must of realized the situation and left. Though he did leave with a final stating he had given them the chance to fix this. Sesame just raised his middle finger to the man as he left before glancing at Cello. He noted that maybe he would have some work for him. Considering the nature of Shakuhachi he could see why. He seemed to just be a bad apple all around. Though he didn't seem to want to force him to do it. Sesame leaned back as he wrote on the paper flipping it to Cello, 'as I said I'd kill him out of pleasure. He's annoying. Not that either of you seem to be that good of people. But I can see why you'd hate his people if he is the clearest symbol of what his people are like.' Sesame kept walking with Cello as they looked around the castle. He offered to show him all the castle and the north. Though he did note the outside may not look all that great with the giant volcanic ash clouds above. Sesame gave a nod to Cello. He'd not mind seeing what this planet was like.

Anyway Cello then began to ask about Demon Realm. He first asked if it was much like their world, being all chaotic and political driven. He nodded and went to writing. He was going pretty fast at this point thanks to his careful movements and his fast speed he quickly write exactly what he needed. This paper and pencil were very useful. Maybe he'd consider these payment for Cello's first job. Or maybe not, it matter how he felt that day. 'Yes expect their a bit more tact. No one plays themselves off as good like the man you meet. Everyone know everyone else want the throne. That man we meet seems to want to seem good but clearly he does not know how to hide his hate. It makes him weak. Either be hatful or be good. Do not pretend to be one or the other' Sesame was not sure why he gave Cello advice. Maybe he just had that gravity of leadership which he had lost so many years ago.

Anyway, Cello explained he and his people practiced the words of Shadow Porunga. Some god for them. Demons were apart of their culture. To speak to a real demon seemed to give Cello much pause. It was like as if he was an agent sent from his god. Sesame wondered if he could take advantage of this. Then he realized that would take too much work. So he just kept walking with Cello before deciding to speak, "Yes I do." The three world crawled out of his lips. That would be his note of apricating Cello help so far. He'd speak to him these three words. He'd never intended to speak another to him. Cello people worshiped the demons that much. It'd be a shame if Cello could not pay Cello back by at least acknowledging him through more then just a piece of paper. So now they were even in his account. The paper, pen and his knowledge paid by three words.

Sesame nodded listening as Cello explained that unlike Shakuhachi he didn’t hide his nature. And that Shakuhachi was just a member of the most powerful group of Namek, known as the Dragon Clan. Though they only ruled for now. Sesame grinned, the man at least had a desire. Sesame kept walking with him making sure to keep each thought in mind so he could write it down later to talk to Cello. Cello also seemed to be willing to take his words of wisdom. Sesame was not all that wise. He could only give so much help to Cello when it came to words. He was an assassin first, a fighter second, and a communicator third. He was best used to kill people in silence, not to talk them to death. Still, he could help Cello with some advice from the demon realm. It was not the same but maybe it helps.

As for him speaking it seemed Cello appreciated that. The blazers around illuminated blue flames as Sesame saw the shadows of the flames dancing upon him. He looked at Cello starting at him. He could see the grin, he must have been proud. A symbol for his clan to prove they were not based on lies. That the demons were real and they were out there. They arrived at the outskirts of the planet outside. It was a hostile-looking land but it was better the demon realm. Anything was better than demon realm. Perhaps with the expectation of the void of space itself. He glanced up at the sky, ash overcame it. Dangerous wildlife seemed to be all around. He could see why the Mazoku were in such a desperate state. These were not the best conditions for survival.

Sesame glanced back at Cello as he hoped he’d return and he’d show him some villages he could head to. But Sesame blood was boiling for a fight. He quickly began to write on his paper. He quickly flipped it for Cello to see, “I will return to this castle in a few days maybe a few weeks. I wish to do the exploring myself. See the world for what it is. I also need time to digest this change. I have been thrown from my home. However, I will return. I can see your people need someone of my talents. I am more than happy to get the work.” Sesame glanced at the wilds before him. He took a few steps back. Then he sprinted and leaped off without the ability to fly he just fell. He landed on top of a plant flipping off it then landing a few colder rocks near the lava as he began to leave the area and leave Cello to his thoughts. Unless he tried to chase him of course.
