While it was rare that the self proclaimed right hand of Lord Hibernal, Polarus, ever made too many attempts to explore the outside world besides that of his immediate military quarters and subsequently the confines of the very military installation that he was birthed in located near Hibernal's own stronghold, when he did, the stoic strongman always tried to make it a fleeting interaction at best. Seeing as his naturally larger stature always managed to draw more attention than he was ever looking for in the first place. Yes, it is a well-known fact that many of the aspirations in his life that he wished to achieve came from a rooted yearning of attention and need to establish his own individuality, so to speak, but being ogled at by the common folk like some sort of sideshow attraction got tiresome very quickly.
Even within his base form he could feel calculative gazes set upon his figure, his physical frame drawing looks and murmurs of incredulous nature upon him constantly as he walked through the streets of Kuriza City, a monotone expression plastered on his face despite internally feeling quite peeved. He had only wanted to get his groceries and produce in peace, and now he felt likesome sort of circus freak to be gawked at.
However, there seemed to be one person that failed to even register the Arcosian's presence in the first place, much less do any leering at as they collided right into Polarus' sturdy physique. Clutching the bags of the groceries he had been able to get up to this point, Polarus looked down just a few feet in front of him where he felt as though some unlucky fellow had decided to unceremoniously crash into him. Upon closer inspection, it looked to be some sort of panicked child- a Demon child it seemed as well. A very rare sight to behold indeed.
His face remaining stolid in expression, which may prove to be slightly intimidating considering his overall stature for the young demon girl, Polarus knelt down in front of the youth, head tilted slightly to one direction as he inquired in an even, yet all the more questioning tone, "And what might you be doing that has led you to so hastily plowing into me, little one? Are you lost? Where are your parents? Surely they would, or should, be keeping a closer eye on their progeny, yes?"
His blunt and straightforward nature shining through his approach, Polarus was keen to let both child, and potentially parent know, how to properly act whilst in a public setting such as this. He found it his civic duty, and believed that he would be doing them a favor. Despite how, pretentious, his actions may seem, he did genuinely only meant well. It was just, very hard for him to show it. Something that he hoped did manage to get through to the young girl and wherever her parent may be.
