Vale watched Gandigan take his leave, waving him goodbye until he got away from sight. From there, he teleported himself away from this place, into a dark, seemingly endless room. In this safe place, away from prying eyes, he walked around, resuming the encounter in his head.
“Well…that amounted to nothing in the end. He’s a stubborn fool and I wasn’t able to plant the seed of hatred in him. Oh well, good thing I wasn’t too helpful when telling him how to revive.”
He knew the Namekian would find a way to revive himself, but at least it wouldn’t through an easier method than what the Shinjin could have helped with. A master manipulator of souls such as himself had no problem toying with the life and death of things…well, not literally, but he still possessed the knowledge and contacts to make it happen somehow.
“Perhaps it is time I meet once again with Lottus and have a proper chat with him. He probably expects the same out of Gandigan.”
Vale pulled out a soul from his pocket and granted it its original form, even if a mere illusion. He liked talking to someone and given how well he treated his precious souls, they had learned never to talk back, hence not being nuisances. In front of him stood what was a Saiyan woman, a soul freshly picked from the gates of the Otherworld. A new tool in his arsenal.
“What do you suggest I do next? Hmm? No, no, I can’t expect my brothers to help with anything. I respect their own objectives and wish to remain undisturbed. We’ve all suffered very much for so long, I simply can’t blame them for staying recluse. Maybe you can call this my very last bit of “humanity” left. Should I seek out the fragments? Depending on how many haven’t been destroyed or consumed, I have a chance to regain a level capable of dealing with these pissants. But that would blow my cover for good and why should I bother when others can do it?”
He tapped his feet.
“Anything else? Hmm? No?...Really…You’re a useless one, aren’t you?”
The soul didn’t usher a word. Vale let out a sigh before grabbing the Saiyan figure by the throat, squeezing the soul popped out of her mouth, her body crumbling away immediately into magic particles.
“I guess I’ll just wait it out.” He waved a hand, a throne appearing out of thin air, white like bones. He sat on it and started into the vast nothingness. “After all, I have all the time in the world.”
Exit!
