CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS
APPEARANCE -
BACKGROUND: Lyla was once a regular Earthling. Her story was one of hard work, raised an orphan and slowly but surely acknowledged for her booksmarts in a field that still was predominantly male. It was her fateful decision to join a dangerous, ill-advised research attaché to Hatchi on Planet Plant, home of the Tuffles. Lyla had hoped to expand her knowledge in the fields of robotics and gene therapy by working closely with some of the brightest minds in the galaxy, war or otherwise.
The Lyla alive today is nothing but a hollow simulacrum of her former self. By sheer accident, during one of the many attacks on Hatchi, containment in one of the deep labs was shattered. The Tuffles' dirty laundry; parasites, Destron, and other sorts of maligned research came to light briefly. During this time, Lyla was infected with a defective parasitic specimen. Instead of simply modifying her will and memories to smoothly fit into that of a Tuffle subservient person, her intelligence was kept - amplified even - but her personality and morality were scrambled beyond recovery.
From the disorganized chaos of the partially destroyed Hatchi emerged a disoriented and mentally discombobulated Lyla. She knew herself to be 'Tuffle,' and any details of her previous life - even what she was doing here in particular - were lost. The New Lyla kept a strong interest in developing powerful weapons and plumbing the depths of science for knowledge, but any intended loyalty toward Tuffles was absent. She wasn't necessarily malicious in her approach, moreso apathetic. Whatever Lyla deemed the necessary and most complete route toward her goal was what she would pursue, regardless of the ramifications.
The past few months have been spent flitting about space, hopping from planet to planet in search of answers. While Hatchi was still undoubtedly a center of science, Lyla had no desire to answer to a director, chancellor, or king. The stiff restrictions placed on R&D after Hatchi's submission to the Saiyans were simply too much. Beyond that, Lyla felt no kinship to the Tuffles and cared not for their continued plight.
Her activities turned to criminal undercurrents soon enough. Legal and legitimate ways of funding were hard to come by, and the ease and amount which black market elements paid for high-grade technology was too much to pass in her endeavors. Now, specifically, Lyla has a mission in mind: locate a powerful individual, the stronger the better. Close study with someone of great strength with no qualms in violence would further her efforts in genetics AND be a perfect platform for testing weapons development.
COMBAT INFORMATION
TECHNIQUES: You start with Three Standard Technique Slots and One Sparking Slot that you can use any way you like. Some species start out with additional slots, or access to certain slot-based abilities for free. You also start with two additional Utility Technique Slots.

While not necessarily her first choice for travel, Lyla is equipped with anti-gravity tech that allows for free flight like many Ki warriors use.
Utility Technique || PSIONIC PROJECTOR
Lyla is capable of using a handheld device known as a 'Psi Amp' in order to translate brainwaves to something physical. Allows use of telepathic communication between nearby or familiar characters on the same planet as yourself, letting you and your friends always converse internally. This technique is passive and does not require KP.
