It was about time to make good on the promise she made. Despite always being open and teaching those she saw personally as worthwhile pupils, she's never done the whole 'teacher waiting in the stands' that a lot of conventional martial artists did as masters of their perspective craft. She was proactive, always seeking Earthlings or otherwise through her heightened sense of the world. While they trained, fought, or just mind their own business. But today would be a little different. Against her better judgment, she'd try advertising her services like any other. On Papaya, where much of what remained of the open practitioners continued their study under the Accords.
To say it didn't bring a little heat out of the other masters nearby would be lying. Jackie stood out among one out of one billion of Earthlings, even when she lowered her power to better appropriately fit in along the likes of the so-named Herald the Gazelle, or Jull Shen. Each closer to their mid-thirties and a little curious as to how an upstart like Jackie, who most knew as a saver of cities and 'Guardian', could just mosey over and start calling herself a master of any art. If it wasn't for her better temper and general niceties she'd probably have just shown them first why.
"And this is why I don't do the public image thing."
Herald and Jull stood around six feet each, the former skinnier and sporting a more rugged almost punkish look while Jull carried himself like a master of old. Both were at her little tiny stall, made of conjured fire and light, clearly spelling out 'Learn to Defend Yourself and Others with Jackie Jeans! Sun Monk!'. The comfortable lean back seat she found herself relaxing in was similarly made of her magic. After the two bicker and downplay her more with some generalized insults she just sighs.
"Maybe if you spent as much time looking down at honest and humble work as you did on yourself and your character, you'd find an actual pupil."
