Zhalla tried to hold back a laugh when Kabe pointed out Mayen would've hated it, yeah she probably would've for sure or at least she would've said she hated it. Maybe one day they'd get the chance to ask them both themselves even, who knew.
Kabe was right in her carrying him like this being familiar and she couldn't believe now that the one time she could've actually beaten him and handed him in once and for all for his bounty, was the one time she was choosing to do the opposite, handing him instead back to his crew to let him get away. She supposed though that those days of trying to catch him for real were over now and the both of them seemed to be entering much different stages of their lives now. She'd miss the chases, the scuffles and squabbles with him for sure and something told her he'd miss them too but they'd never truly be gone, goodness knows these two still butted heads even when working together!
As his crew approached Zhalla would tense up slightly expecting some of them to maybe react hostile to her being here at all, especially so close to their ship and with their Captain in hand but thankfully none seemed keen on attacking her today, maybe because she was carrying their Captain and any attempts to do so would probably just hit him too so she kept her guard up regardless. When the gurney was wheeled over though she'd heave Kabe up again this time off her shoulder and would sit him down on the stretcher, placing a firm hand against one of his shoulders to encourage him to lay down afterwards-- She wasn't entirely rough about it but tried to seem like she was to be more convincing to the crew around them.
Looking to the crew members who'd come to help she'd hold back a sound of surprise at the scrawny Beppan-- They were quite young and not really someone she expected to see in a crew of Pirates but then again, Kabe himself had been about that young when he was made one too if not younger even. "Good job kid, thanks for the help" Zhalla would offer the kid an encouraging thumbs up figuring anything more like a pat on the head or something would probably only scare them further-- And anything nicer would make the other crewmates suspicious probably.
Zhalla would give an amused snort in response to Kabe's weary joke of goodbyes, hopefully his crew weren't too nosy about how he somehow managed to convince her to not only not take him in for bounty but bring him back home safely willingly. "Yeah yeah, you'd better look after yourself then Captain so I don't have as easy a time beating you again next time" She'd cross her arms for a few moments as she watched him be taken away. "Goodbye for now, Kabe" She'd eventually muster up the strength to say as she returned his wave, really hoping that in-between now and the next time she saw him that he'd be alright.
With Kabe wheeled away now she'd turn back to her bike and slowly start to make her own way back home for now, the engine rumbling lowly brought a small comfort as she wondered if she'd made the right decision in bringing him straight back to his crew rather then trying to aid him back at her home first. Zhalla would just have to trust that Kabe would do right by himself and that his crew would help him out where they could, for now she needed to get home.
