CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS
APPEARANCE:
BACKGROUND: Tebooleh's people originally hailed from Earth, living semi-nomadically in the deserts of the West with a single, permanent settlement near a natural spring at the base of Mount Five Element. They were a simple people who were devoted to the path of Asha, a method of spiritual enlightenment achieved through "The Three Axioms" of good thoughts, good words, and good deeds alongside ritual exploration of the spirit world and divine elements. This small, nameless town was visited by strange, three-eyed beings from the stars, who were fleeing the destruction of their home world. Rather than turn them away, Tebooleh's ancestors welcomed this Triclops Clan into the path of Asha, and the two peoples became one in the desert, reaching new heights of scientific knowledge and spiritual wisdom. Their town became a glittering city stone, jewels, and precious metals centered around a beautiful temple that housed what the followers of the path of Asha claimed was the first, blessed flame. And, of course, a grand library of scientific knowledge and the collected wisdom of spiritual leaders and philosophers. Tales of this place eventually attracted the attention of a local warlord, who attacked the city.
Rather than fight, Tebooleh's people took the first flame from the temple, gathered upon the ship that brought the Triclops Clan to Earth, and fled to the stars. They journeyed across space to other worlds, where they built other temples and other cities... only to be driven away each time. Until they found a desolate world far from any major space lanes, that was full of monsters, with no major resources that anyone would find valuable. There, they settled.
Tebooleh was born on this world to Baba and Ghanoush. From a young age, he was seen as someone destined for great things. He was born under an auspicious comet, during a time when the stars and planets aligned. Most importantly, he was also born with a third eye, a sign of power and enlightenment. As such, he was marked for training to become an Ashavan Dast, a master warrior-priest of the path of Asha. He took to some things quite naturally. In the art of combat, he learned the forms and dances quicker than his peers. While others struggled to access their ki, requiring much training and meditation to do so, Tebooleh was able to do it with ease. He was able to sense ki, fly, and even summon the "Atar" before any of his fellow students. He also found many aspects of his studies easy. He could memorize most texts with minimal effort, and the sciences and words of scholars came easily to him. The rote of ritual was mastered quickly and efficiently by him, while his fellow students practiced everything a thousand times. Tebooleh also found the battling of monsters trivially easy, and barely broke a sweat when combating a sandworm that had slaughtered a dozen warriors at once. In essence, Tebooleh was a natural master of many arts.
Except, of course, in the art of humility. Tebooleh was brash and arrogant, drinking the praise of his elders and peers alike, and eager to prove his mettle against any that challenged him. At first, this meant that Tebooleh would accept any challenge to a battle of wits, fists, or weapons. Eventually, however, Tebooleh began seeking out fights against his classmates, and saw the classroom as a place to crush the other students with his knowledge. Tebooleh even challenged his elders to debates and battles, never resting until he defeated them... And Tebooleh never found failure.
Until, on the day when he and the rest of his classmates were supposed to commune with the First Fire, and see the inner workings of the universe and the spirit world. All of the initiates were gathered in the central sanctum of the great temple, all were given a simple prayer mat to kneel upon. All were called to meditate and open their metaphorical (literal in Tebooleh's case) third eye.
Tebooleh saw nothing. He failed. For his arrogance had blinded him to true enlightenment, despite the advantages that his third eye gave him. His elders, seeing his failure, and remembering the many times that this troublesome student had boasted and battled and challenged their teachings, prepared to expel Tebooleh from the temple and the school of the priests. They would have doomed him to a life of failure, a life where Tebooleh would grow old knowing that he fell short of his destiny on his own merits. Except...
He was offered a second chance.
The elders decided to give Tebooleh a second chance to perform the final test, with a single caveat. As a way of learning humility, and the hardship that his people had faced, Tebooleh was to travel to each of the four worlds that his people had once settled upon. On each world, he was to walk from the spaceports and wander the wilderness and find the temples that had once housed the First Flame and meditate upon its echoes. He was to remember the Three Axioms and to properly walk the Path of Asha... or else he would again find failure upon his return.
Now, Tebooleh travels to Earth, the first world of his people, to find the first temple at the foot of Mount Five Element...

Light Offensive Technique || Triple ThwackADDITIONAL NOTES: Please rename "Intense Struggle" to "Burning Wrath"
Tebooleh delivers three quick blows in tandem with hands, feet, or a blunt object. The third blow is the hardest.
Power: 20%
KP Cost: 1 KP
Variants: 10% Power Upgrade(1 TP), KP Cost Reduction
Light Defensive Technique || Saw It Coming
Tebooleh's third eye and half-successful enlightenment give him a limited form of precognition. This allows him to (sometimes) see an opponent's attack coming before it is launched, and thus get out of the way.
Power: 60%
KP Cost: 2 KP
Variants: Evasive(2 TP), 10% Power Upgrade(1 TP)
Medium Offensive Technique || Atar
Tebooleh folds his hands together as if he is about to pray and takes in a deep breath. Then he unfolds his hands, palms out, and releases a beam of fiery ki (colored orange, yellow, and red) at his opponent.
Power: 50%
KP Cost: 4 KP
Variants: Piercing(2 TP), Bleed(2 TP), 10% Power Increase(1 TP, Martial Artist)
Support Technique (Martial Artist) || Solar Flare
Tebooleh releases a blinding flash of light, replicating the sun's rays. This allows him to attempt to escape any thread or travel between splits in an Action Thread more safely. This technique valued at 60% of his total power and requires 2 KP to use. In order to stop him, a player must use an attack that is superior in power to his Solar Flare. He cannot undo his escape via Solar Flare if you are successful, but you can use KP to defend if it is overcome
Power: 60%
KP Cost: 2 KP
Variants: N/A
Medium Offensive (10K) || Atar Vazishta
Tebooleh performs the same actions as he does for his regular "Atar" attack. However, when he holds out his palms, he instead releases a bolt of ki that looks like a cross between a campfire and lightning. It moves faster than his normal "Atar" attack, though it doesn't seem to be as hot or piercing...
Power: 40%
KP Cost: 3 KP
Variants: Homing(2 TP), KP Cost Reduction(2 TP)
Medium Defensive Technique (20K) || Whirlwind Dance
Tebooleh "dances" by spinning around and around and around with such speed that he creates a whirlwind or tornado. This wind both protects him from enemy attacks, and allows him to redirect said attacks back at his opponent.
Power: 40%
KP Cost: 4 KP
Variants: Reflective(2 TP), 10% Power Increase x2(2 TP)
Heavy Offensive Sparking || Atar Spenishta
Tebooleh performs the same motions as he does with his "Atar" Technique, but he focuses more of his energy into the beam. This beam is white-hot and seems to do a lot more damage than his normal Atar.
Power: 140%
KP Cost: 6 KP (4 MP, Makafushigi Adventure)
Variants: Bleed(2 TP), Bleed+(2 TP), Piercing(2 TP), 10% Power Increase x7 (4 TP + 3 TP from Makafushigi Adventure)
Utility Technique || Flight
Tebooleh has learned how to dance upon the clouds and fly like a bird by using ki to push himself off the ground.
Utility Technique || Ki Sensing
Tebooleh can sense, measure, and differentiate the ki signatures of ki attacks and all living beings without the Anti-Sense trait. Higher ki signatures are easier to sense and can be sensed by him at greater distances than lower ones. This technique is passive and does not use KP.
